People might want the vibration option to turn off but Niantic will make the vibration more aggressive and be vibrating 24/7
I took mine apart. Took the vibration motor out (unfortunately permanently) also took a felt marker to 2/4 of the LEDs. Note this is all permanent
For anyone wondering shiny nightcap Snorlax is a 1/500 chance to be shiny
I doubt that’s the case. It’s a one time encounter similar to that of the team mystic, instinct, and valor costumed Pokémon, all of which were boosted to 1/64.
wish it was guaranteed shiny to make it worth but ur buying it for the autocatching

To enter sleep mode you have to have it laying flat on its back button towards sky, and then leave it alone, if the device is moved or turned it will stop recording sleep so if your friend was holding it sideways like in the pocket or whatever it would not have been recording sleep. That's what i have discovered anyway

If you’re trying to enter sleep mode holding it but it keeps flashing red instead of blue, put it on a flat surface and try it again. It should solve your issue.
Just got mine yesterday and so far you’re the only one that gave clear directions on the sleep mode. No one else mentioned that it had to be off in order for it to run! One would guess that it would need to be left on to get the gifts, go into an auto catch mode overnight or whatever. So thanks for the clarity! I’m gonna let it sleep for two hours and then see what it did (it’s about 5 AM here lol)

I also experienced a lot of glitching, especially with the auto throw staying enabled while supposedly deactivated. The only semi-fix i found was to disconnect the go++ and change all the settings you want to change, then reactivate it.
in order to put in sleep tracking mode you have to leave it flat on a surface. In order for it to count that day it requires minimum an hour and a half. In order to get rewards for your sleep it is minimum 3 hours.
For the sleep track it’s supposed to be on a flat surface, not moving, to track sleep. I had no issues turning it on for the sleep mode and it tracked all my ten hours of actual sleep haha!
I can not figure out how the sleep tracking works.
@@stevenmoreno9421 click the top button then click and hold the middle. A blue light will flash and if sound is on pikachu will sing a lullaby. (Also be sure you’re not connected to pogo) and leave it laying flat. In the morning click and hold the middle button and it’ll like rainbow light up. Open pogo, connect your device and it’ll register your sleep.

Before bed, disconnect Bluetooth, hold down center button until it flashed rainbow colours.... put down on nightstand....

The sleep needs to be on a flat surface. In order for it to work. To silence it with just the lights. Hold the top and the center button until it vibrates twice. It enters silent mode.
Thanks for letting us know how the sleep part works. I was looking everywhere but nothing really explained it in dumb terms. Definitely would’ve had it on last night i would’ve known how it works, and I needed the app completely turned off
Yeah now I know how it works as well.. I thought I could play with my own pokemon go plus thing but NOPE. Stupid event!
Very glitchy so far mine seems to change its mind to swap to manual click for stops and throws even when the autos are all selected on and I’m not sure why. I love the auto reconnect feature of just tapping the icon on the screen instead of both the icon and the button on the device at the same time. The vibration is ridiculous and literally shakes it off the table. I do wonder how accurate the sleep feature will be but I’m down to try it out.

Yes, something is wrong with the auto catcher set up. Ever since they introduced the new auto catching with those little pink circles, it hasn’t been working consistently for me and I have to disconnect my device all the time because it stops catching and then I have to reconnect it for it to start catching again.
Does the app have to be up and open for the plus plus to stay connected and keep catching?

You can put the go plus plus in silent mode. It wont vibrate also pikachu wont talk any more as well.
I was experiencing a lot of glitching happening with the plus plus last night trying to use it. Overall it’s a good concept, but it definitely needs some work so it actually does as advertised.
Half the time mine doesn’t auto catch or auto spin even though they’re both on and forget the sleep I set it and turn it off in the am get the rewards but no progress to the research
@@jagged6373 that’s weird I’m at 3 out of 7 days for the sleep tracking thing. I always disconnect it and hold the button til pikachu starts singing. Then I just leave it by my bedside table until morning. Then when morning comes I always reconnect with the button in app. Never unlink it completely from your Pokémon go account. Just hit the little circle on your Pokémon go screen so it’s not doing the auto catching/spinning. But once morning hits and you reconnect I always have to reload the app because it never gives it right away. Then once reloaded it pops up with the sleep time (never accurate enough) but at least it was progressing. I did have trouble trying to get it into sleep mode for my brother. I was trying to let him start his progress tonight but it just wasn’t having it.

its 50/50 chance of a catch rate with that device, i got it yesterday. its spins pokestops on point. thats the best part i say. over all i say it can be useful at times when ur playing if your hardcore. if your not . dont waste ur money.

Something I’ve found, or maybe not is in the Pokémon sleep app. It’s saying that you can do TWO sleep sessions per day to use towards research. I haven’t tried but my second 90 minutes starts now. I’ll be back when I figure it out.

The best way to connect it to sleep is disconect it from the app and hold the button goes to sleep mode right away and when u re commect it itll sync up again

So is it better to put the PoGO++ on the mattress by your pillow or a beside table? Because two nights in a row now I put it flat on its back on the mattress by my pillow, and pressed and held the center button until it flashes blue and the Pikachu sings and then went to sleep. Both times when I wake up and push the button to finalize the sleep session it acts like I'm starting a new session. Maybe it doesn't register my mattress as flat? I'm pretty sure I did not touch it in the middle of the night. Does anything cause the sleep tracking to end prematurely?

The sleep portion of the Pokémon go plus plus only recorded 4 1/2 hrs of sleep for me but I turned it off around 12 and woke up at 9 so idk what is up with that and I wasn’t moving it or anything I had it plugged up

For some reason since downloading pokemon sleep, my plus+ no longer syncs sleep data. No matter what I do, I'm stuck in the resrarch at 6 nights.
My friend and I both bought one from Gamestop. Took over 20 tries to get it to finally connect properly. It only caught 5 pokemon on screen then it did nothing. Decided to turn off and charge it. Now it won't connect again. :( maybe it only works good for newer phones? Hope we get some serious batches. The Auto-connect didn't work at all. Note: I've been using auto-catchers for 3 yrs.
The auto throw doesn't allow for great or ultra balls, so that's probably why it was glitching as you had ultra balls selected. Just my guess
they advertised it as working with GBs and UBs

I don't think the glitch was the device. I had the same issues with the old auto catcher after this last software update that changed the look of the menu. It took several minutes for the glitch to stop.
I'm playing pokemon sleep and last night instead of having my phone on my bed like the app recommended me I had it on the floor. and the app thought I wasn't actually asleep and adjusted my sleep time because they thought I wasn't actually asleep in those 6 hours, which, on average, I sleep 7

Trying to get it to go to sleep suuucks. Takes me like 20 min for it to work. But walking around with it in my pocket has randomly gone into sleep and I start hearing Pikachu singing. I hope they have a patch/fix for it soon because this device seems pretty buggy.

It was auto throwing regular pokeballs not your ultra. if you get rid of all your pokeballs and turn off auto throw you can then throw the selected pokeball. well that seems how mine is working.

Yes it’s very glitchy so far and can’t even do the sleep challenge. Pokemon sleep hasn’t dropped yet on iOS
For the sleep part to record and work do you have to keep the game on or running in the background? If I had to leave my game on with my phone laying on a surface for hours it would probably catch on fire 🔥 😂.. hopefully it will record with game in the background with the Lock Screen on.

@@domfree8165 You can at least lock the phone because I have tried that and I have also turned the game off and it worked. The trick is to make sure you have connected it to your account and set the time you want to use and then use the little ball icon on the main screen to disconnect it. Then you need to press the button once til you hear pikachu start singing Twinkle Twinkle Little ⭐️ and then lay it on a hard surface away from you so you do not accidentally touch it or knock it over. Then when it is one minute past whatever time you set your sleep session for ( make sure it is at least 90 mins or it will not register) you then press the button on top of the device and it lights up multi color and says Pik-Pik-Pikachu then you open your game and use the same method to connect it ( pressing the ball icon on the main screen) and it should log your sleep for the research and give you a reward BUT I have seen it not give any rewards at all and idk why that is, but it did at least give the the day completed on the research. Hope this helps.
You don't need your phone or app on at all. The Plus Plus stores the data locally and will upload it to your phone when it syncs. Tested it with my phone in another room entirely and everything closed and it still works fine. Even my sleep data from the previous two days before Sleep was launched in Australia uploaded just fine to Sleep and PoGo. It doesn't get warm and it doesn't make a noise unless you set an alarm in the Sleep app.
@@LantanaLiz what phone are u using? I’m on an Android and to connect it it seems I have to open my app and connect it that way? I haven’t tried it on an iPhone though and I don’t have sleep app installed. Last I checked which was the 14th when I got the plus plus it wasn’t in the iPhone store and it was on android but it just says coming soon? But I am in the USA..

Hey JT, I’ve heard if you put the go plus+ on silence mode it turns off sound, vibration, and lights if you want to try that!!!
Sadly, I own it and can confirm there is no way to turn off the vibration even on silent mode. It just turns pikachu and alarms off.
@@MusicLoveLaughter interesting??? If you read your manual it says caution: if you put the product into silent mode, this will also stop all alarm and notification features (sound,vibration,LED).

I have been deleting all my red balls so the auto catcher will use the blue balls. It catches it with the blue balls but the catch are not counting on my "catch 10 pokemon using the pokemon go plus plus"

You were having issues recording sleep (light turning blue) because it has to be flat/level when you start recording.
It needs to be on a flat surface to go to sleep mode, and apparently only needs to be asleep 90 minutes to register a day. The next page is to register 28 days total to get to snorlax!
Already modded mine took out the vibration and lights
Can you make it where you wont have Pikachu serenaded you anymore
