Just want to say, just got a low rider s here in Australia and I have binge watched your vids! Such good info on pretty much everything I’m upgrading! Love the vids!
My Mother always told me to do the difficult first, and then the easy. If my bike needs something done on her I either take her to the dealer or my Husband will do it. You are so much fun to watch, and now I know what the ends of my handlebars kind of look like without grips. 🤗
The clutch side reminds of how the goose neck on bicycle attaches looked very similar, but been few years since I took apart a bicycle goose neck lol. Also jsut had to laugh when you told the viewers to remind you where you placed the screws lol.
so this is a new harley vlogger that i forsee as doing very well for herself she has a lot of energy and personality. she has an interesting yankee accent (maybe philadelphian ?) she has a cool bike and is not afraid to get into her own wrenching... i see her doing well. blow her up peoples! she deserves some attention. (tell em Damnit Dave from facebook pointed you this direction lol)
hey hey. you are doing great! i watch more youtube than television and i think there is a LOT of room for new content creators i think it is awesome to see more women get their wind therapy on and customize their baby. i will be rooting for ya dudette.
I do clutch side first because, since that side will usually (Harley grips) only fit one way. You can then line up any logos or whatever because the right side grip is adjustable... I did an attic insulation job once... ONCE.
There's been so many times that I almost pulled the trigger on these over the years, but I always default to the significantly cheaper Thrusters by Biltwell. Give us an update video on these after you put some miles on them, would be interested to see if their worth it! Great video 💯
she's too funny and cute, Love it when she crumbled up the instructions and her funny faces when she makes funny puns lol She's fuckin Awesome, love her style too, I gotta get those same grips, they are sweet.
secret wit da cottoncandy is to get it in as soon as u possibly can & b done widit. done lots & lots & lots of it. 😬 eye got new grips on da ironhead a couple daze b4 sturgis! 🤘😘
I kinda hate to say it, but I kinda regret buying my FXDR I should have gotten the Low Rider S. I can’t find any attachments for it. Everything on your bike looks amazing!
Nice work!👍...did Avons on my my R/King and love 'em. Trick I learned was spraying bar with Windex 1st for install, grip goes on easy & it evaporates quickly. Haven't had to use adhesives yet! The front brake perch can be tricky because of the brake switch. Harley's are notorious for breaking easily, some people shim it especially when changing levers. The ones you instl'd are a great match to your diamond pattern saddle!👍
I usto work for a crime scence clean up company and i got the thin white suits and did it that way.. and clean it up use the cheap swiffers from the store static will be your friend
Nice job ! I suspect you'd have small hands like me. If it is the case I suggest you try the Thresher grips by Kuryakyn. They are a bit thinner, the shape is particular but comfy and the grip is incredible. They cost half the price of the Biltwell but still have a good finish. Ride safe. Cheers.
Stop in at a Dollar Store and buy yourself a couple small metal food/water bowls for a cat or small dog. They work great for holding hardware so you don't misplace it. The kind with a non-slip rubber ring around the bottom are best. I been using them for years so I don't lose small screws, nuts and bolts while working on my Harleys. Ride safe ✌🇨🇦
@@MotoBlonde A magnetic bowl would work perfectly. Not many things more annoying than having to put your tools down and drive to the hardware store because you've dropped a nut or bolt and couldn't find it again to finish the job. I've had way too many of those experiences in 35 yrs of wrenching on my Harleys.
Great job, You should have gone with heated grips I just added them to my RGS and I love them well worth it especially in New York. I use mine all the time and I live in Cali where it never gets that cold. :-)
what, we don't get to see what food you got? you can't mention tacos and not show people. that violates biker vlogger rules lol. not sure how much it is but theres a insulation called Roxol , i think, its made from corn husks i think. it isn't itchy, doesn't burn or mold. and you cut it with a bread knife. supposed to be really good. or spray foam but you would have to move or cover everything and i know it costs more. good vid looking forward to the build.
Have a 23 Lowrider S and tried to use your Amazon link. Not sure if they’ve discontinued them or what but link does not work. Do you have a part number or anything? Keep the videos coming!
Awesome intro and videos. Wish I started a channel before doing everything to my bike but im thinking of getting ones going for roadtrips. Any tips for starting out ?

I love the look of these, considering them for my 2022 Low Rider S. I've read a few other reviews where several operators stated throttle side rattles, have you experienced this?
Just installed alumicore grips on my harley thorttle by wire However the throttle side rattles it works just the rattle drives me crazy. Does your throttle side shake also
🤔 Easy first. Then hard... cuz if not, the hard-one-first gets me pissed off, & I am not even feeling it by the time the easy side comes up. 😂 Easy first usually gives me SOME hope.
HD stock grips are garbage! Always do the hard side first that way you can cruise to the finish line. I’m also getting a better camera setup for installs and some lighting.....game changer! Here’s hoping you’ve got a camera under the tree!

I’m going to bring my bike to you for all the upgrades I don’t have time to do. 👍👍👍
Now I see those grips look fabulous.
Exact same ones have been on my list. BILTWELL is a good house and a fun bunch. Thanks for vid...
I love them! Thanks for watching!
Fiberglass is Great fun, I spray foamed My garage and put in a mini split for HVAC
We have a split in the house - that would be perfect for the garage!
The new grips look great and cool how they don't need glue 😎👍 yeah don't need heated grips, just use good winter gloves 🧤
That’s the plan! More to come 😉🤣

Cool install. Looked pretty easy. The grips look awesome.
Super easy! Thanks!
Great video but I can't find your video that you mentioned briefly about putting grips on a Sportster.
It's coming once we start the build!

Just a tip. Cover your tank and front fender with a blanket or actual covers to protect your paint. Scratch and dents suck on paint.

Spray Foam Insulation would insulate without the fiberglass itch, just saying.
The key to insulation is a tyvek suit, scott face pack, tape your gloves on, and hope you don't need to pee any time soon. Lol
haha that was definitely an issue!

5!
Always hard part first. Then coast the rest of the way.
was looking at these grips! thanks for the video.....are they the same diameter of t he HD grips? and problems with rattling or coming loose? cheers!
Are they just as think as the stock grips? I’d like to find thinner ones.
I've only taken them out once so far - but they do feel a bit thinner. SO much more comfortable!
Ile just buy another pair of factory grips I reckon
