There's almost no running in the tough mudder, the obstacles are so close together. I think the longest I ran consecutively was a mile, and that's being very generous. The running is not the problem. The problem will be whether you can scale walls.
I’ve done many and it depends on the location. You can spend all day with it and don’t run but it’s still usually around 10 miles start to finish. That is a lot of running even if it is broken up into .75 to 1 mile increments.
For the tower, the purple blasts are from the original game as well, but appear only starting in and after the checkpoint room. In this rom hack, the blasts appear halfway in the room before the checkpoint
The difference in the tower was the spikes and the sand geyser.
Also to Dave, Mario loses his hat when you get 99 lives. It's an Easter egg.
Also the piranha plant part where you fall down to the dark room is in the original game too.
The castle boss also added a geyser, and blocks to the sides to stop people wall jumping between the pipes and the wall
no the purple blasts started in the same area as the og game

Roy's tower does have him throwing his magic at you on the way up in the original. I remember struggling at it back then.

This game was my entire childhood, it’s cool seeing dgr play it but much harder
I think that castle naturally was made with a repetition section until you went the correct path. However, I think the mod creator sealed off the wrong paths.
It makes a little jingle and the camera speeds up because it's reacting to you choosing the correct path, I think.
I've 100%'d this game at least 5 times, and I can say that is correct

The tough Mudder I did with a friend was one of the best things I’ve ever done. They have a really great easy to do exercise plan online. Even if you only do the easy exercise plan you will be more then ready. You can do it!

The blue ones are technically called Stone Spike. Still a Spike, just with spiky rocks instead of spiky balls.

If you want to run, start with Couch to 5k. It works you up to the full 5k in about 9 weeks, and my huge ass managed it in 7.
