Obviously, in hindsight, it worked out since we have our franchise QB of the future, but the argument is we made the NFC Championship game, which we did again the following year, but we didn't take anyone who could help the team on offense or defense who could make an immediate impact. Ty's reaction was my reaction and several others that I knew. We didn't have the foresight to know Love would be what he is with some time to learn, but I don't know a single Packers fan who was happy about that pick.
