That is the best review of all of them posted. You took a long-term well soiled carpet and showed the viewers how fast and well the carpet cleaner performed. Thank You, and was very convincing. I'm convinced and buying it!!! :D
Patrick O'Connor Found this carpet cleaner at Best Buy for $99 so i came to youtube to check it out and this was the first video i saw. Headed to get it now. Great video. Thank you very much.
@@kode1996 Absolutely!!! Still keeping this bad boy moving. I just have a demand for clean carpets at an affordable price and this baby is pretty convincing. Thank You.
I've had a Hoover for over 20 years and it has consistently done a superb job. It's a great investment for home - owners and especially renters whose landlords generally leave behind stains, dirt in the carpets providing surface clean upon move-in.
Nice to see someone using a carpet cleaner right. Usually you see people pull back super fast and then complaining that it didn't do the job. This video convinced me to get one!
Just got one of the last week from Amazon. Just over $130 including shipping for Prime customers. Your demonstration is accurate at depicting it's cleaning capabilities. Not sure how you recorded this but your microphone makes it sound like a small aircraft on take-off LOL. Mine is much quieter...
I have this cleaner. I have berber apartment carpet which is much "tighter". While this machine does work wonders on it, I have to usually make two passes. Great machine! Worked wonders on yours!
First off, thank you for using a carpet which had visible stains for this demo. I have been considering this carpet washer but wanted to see how it preformed before spending the money. That was absolutely great and even though it appeared to be dry stains on a light carpet that had darkened as well, it looked like the stains were nearly vanishing as soon as you did the first pass. Absolutely great. Second: Did you vacuum beforehand? It may sound like a dumb question but I am really curious. Yours is the third, and so far best, demo I have watched. One person stated they vacuumed, one didn't mention either way. Third: Are you using the solution that Hoover sells or do you have a different one you use? Thanks again, that was insane to see how well it refurbished that carpet.
Looks amazing. How fast or slow should you push the machine? I think the slower you push it, the more detergent it'll use and keep the motor running. Can you feel the motor getting hot? I don't want to burn out the motor.
I read that sooner or later the brush drive will stop working due to rusted bearings in the turbine drive. Hows yours still holding up? How many times have you used it?
I have a similar carpet cleaner at home, but it doesn't do good job of cleaning our heavily soiled carpet. We need a carpet cleaner with steaming feature. I would like to know if this cleaner produces HOT steam.
vasanthmuthu Instructions say to use HOT tap water. So no steam. Pretty effective though with just hot water. Of course a lot depends on what kind of stains you have and what solution your using to clean it with. .
John Kerr Hello, John. Well, we have all kinds of stain on our carpets. When you have 3 kids at home, you can imagine how messy a house can get. There are a lots of stains from coke, chocolate pudding, koolaid, candies, coffee and from just about everything. Although we immediately treat the spot, the stain won't come off completely. So, I think with carpet steamer we can remove all the stains. HOT tap water??? I thought I read Warm water in my instruction. Well, I will try it with HOT tap water next time.. Thanks John...
vasanthmuthu an actual steamer is going to run you quite a bit more, but has the added bonus of killing germs. But also take into account that a steamer is only killing germs on the surface and will not affect the myriad that live in your padding.
Yes it will, although I recommend you take a look at one of my new videos of the Bissell proheat 2x revolution pet, it is the best carpet cleaner I've used to date.
I have 3 dogs, one is a male chihuahua that loves to mark up the bedroom when no one is looking. Definitely looking for something that is tough on grime and pet stains.
They both are very good machines but it depends on how much you have to clean. This is best for mid to smaller size rooms because you have to empty and refill often. The rug doctor is great for big areas, because it holds alot more water only thing is the rug doctor doesn't have a wash/rinse cycle. So after you wash the carpet it's best to rinse out the soap.
kode1996 thank you so much! I think I will go for this one since we only have carpet in the bedrooms and save myself a little moola. Plus the rinse cycle is very appealing.
This machine completely outshines the rug doctor. Rug doctor is a lot heavier, doesn't have a rinse cycle and the scrub brushes are not even comparable. Rug doctor has a thin strip of brushes and this has big round brushes that actually spin in circles.
I do agree, that this is a good video and good example. However, according to the instruction manual, you are using it much too fast. It claims that you should go about 8 to 10 inches every second at max. Just FYI.
kode1996 Hoover claims if you use something other than their cleaners that it could ruin the gaskets and seals which will lead to leaks...have you had this problem?
I just bought des cleaner and did not do much job on wight carpet :(: it took me 20 Time too feel the tank and to and true the dirty, maybe on dark carpets work better for the colour it can't see the light Gray spots Specially at night , in the day is ok . Maybe I must use something for wight formula we'd light bleach .

***** that's great! It is a very good machine!
SOLD
I like how it cleans! can you tell me the model?
Adriana Villafranca Ortíz Hoover power scrub.
FH50150
Do you press the handle only during the wash cycle?
No, you press it for the wash and rinse cycles because that is what dispenses the liquid onto the carpet.
I've read some reviews on how it stops working after a few months. Have you come across this problem yet?
I have not. mine workes great!
I've used mine for hours before and haven't had a problem.
+kode1996 is your machine still running good just wondering I'm thinking of getting one
Yes it's still working like new.
They probably had clogged mahines
My carpets are heavily soiled and also matted in high traffic areas. Will this fluff it back up?
Yes it will, although I recommend you take a look at one of my new videos of the Bissell proheat 2x revolution pet, it is the best carpet cleaner I've used to date.
yi
Yes it will!
what happens if there's trash on the floor? would I have to buy a separate vacuum to use to pick up the trash?
Yes you always have to vacuum before you carpet clean.
kode1996 thank you!
xFaithkeeperx you're very welcome!
kode1996 do you still own this product? if not how long has it lasted?
What do you do, pour ☕ out for the ones that ain't here? Wow
Does it leave your carpet really wet and if not how long does it take to dry?
Not that wet about 2 and a half hours.
Andrew -n- Leah wear plastic bags on your feet until it dries
kode1996 Is the solution easy to find for this model?
And maybe it needs stronger brush more heard .
Compared to the rug doctor, which would you recommend?

I pre sprayed with bio blast. And was just using hot tap water for extraction.
Will this vacuum work on rugs?
DanDan Moore yes!
Barbara Ezzell thanks

I used bioblast for this test. :)

It will clean good but will have to make many stops to add/empty the water.
Dude what the hell pick some stuff up first maybe? Great vid thanks!
