Apples and oranges. If you were to revacuum over the Rainbows marks you'd still get up dirt. You should know that as a vacuum persons. Last vacuum always wins.

As MrsEmmy133 says, the instructions warn against use on Hardwood or Laminate floors. I wish that I could…please tell us of any long-term damage.

The flexible tube won't stretch far enough from the bottom and can't do it from the top, or the whole machine will fall down on me.

Regarding the Kirby I was wondering how full the bag was and also noticed no agitation of the sand as you moved the Kirby. You may have set the brush roll too low and lost a valuable feature of the Kirby, its powerful agitation. I've seen other demonstrations of the Kirby picking up sand and the sand is popping up inches from the carpet all over driving the sand into the suction.

Can other cleaning solutions be used with this machine ( Fabuloso, and/or Pine ) as well as the Hoove cleaning solutions for the Hoover SmartWash Plus Automatic and SmartWash Pet Complete? Also, as for the scent boosters, what's the longevity of the scent boosters by Hoover ?
