- Creating a Pirate Build on Season 9 Ascension WoW Destiny's Dawn. Today we also dive into some PvP, as Skill Card rolls allowed me to try out the swashbuckler abilities and I managed to make it work.

I got three of the swashbuckler skills through the manastorm pirate area and im in love with the idea. so im gonna grind out some pirates to see if i cant get some more :)

Maybe death mark (instantly apply 5 combo points) and a cold blood grape shot would be worth using your scrolls for?
Great idea. Not sure if death mark resets on death in ascension, but it could be used like that for big advantage.
@@venarioo Heads up grape shot is incredibly janky with its range FYI - i have it and it plays up ALOT in both pvp and pve
Dont forget to socket your RE at lvl 1. adds alot of early on damage
Yeah I know, but this is brand new character and I didn't have any extracts to do so 😂
How do you know what uses what modifiers? I never would have ever guessed that pistol shot uses sinister strike stuff. I got the ability "battle charge" and didnt think it benefited from charge talents.
WHen You mousover the skill, hold shift and it will show You addidional info, like modifiers for example.
DUDE! How did you get that Swashbuckler Duelist card? I can't find it anywhere! :o
I can't remember exactly, but I did kill a lot of pirates around booty bay and ratchet while playing adventure mode, so it could have been from there.

Any info of pirate card drops? I have a few but missing some of them.
Yo Bro! Most of those I got from the cards, yet there is a quest where You get most of tanking ones for Swashbuckler.
In tanaris You need to kill pirates to get chests from them. Then You collect map fragments from those chest. Complete map will give You quest that You need to complete. Then You are sent to Artahi Highlands, to a small pirate cove where there is a chest that contains some of the cards. Yet i think You need to complete some q over there to be able to open it.
Where about do you get swashbuckling duelist card? Or that one just rng from the card packs

That's actually what it comes from too, as Rapier's were most often paired with bucklers for defense 😂
That strike behind the shield ability would fit perfectly
Funny thing is that there are some swashbuckling skill cards and talents, that can make You a tank, so shield would be even more suitable 😁
@@venarioo I get that it's to play off of the whole "fencing" aspect of the fantasy, but come on man! Let us use bucklers! Lmao, the parry rating as defence SUCKS unless you use a 2 hander

I dont remember exactly now, but I did kill a lot of pirates near Ratchet and Booty Bay for quests. It could have been one of them or the skill cards.
May i ask what your addon is that shows your profile like that as in the targets and stuff
It's x-perl. You can get it from ascension launcher. I've got addon video on the channel, that will help You set it up if You want.

They are randomly put throughout the manastorms. I use macro /target greedy demon to find them. If You can't see them You can always then mark him with raid icon, after targeting.
The higher manastorm you are the more greedy demons spawn
so no eviscerate right?
No need. Grape shot is so much better in all situations.
when that re came out it used to transform you into a pirate. i guess this is no longer the case?
Oh really? That would be awesome, but on the other hand makes sense when re's are separated now.
