Here's the problem: - if the build one-shots, damage gets nerfed - when the damage gets nerfed, you crit for max 600 damage I've prestiges 30 times trying to make a Scorched Earth/Hot Streak build. Damage was really bad. People suggested picking +fire damage talents. Tried that too, didn't work either.

I bought access to coa 6 years ago when it was still 30 cap. Absolutely loved it until we got to 50 cap and they said they were going to go to 60 in like 5-6 months and i ended up waiting 5 years and completely lost all interest over thst time. Also i absolutely hate the dragon Flight talent system. They claimed it would get rid of a lot of bloat but instead added so much more bloat to the classes i most played. If they wanted to fix the bloat, all they had to do was make some abilities more passive. The old talent tree was simple and straightforward and all that rework added 5 years to development. Wouldve rather had them spend that 5 years on making dungeons and class balance better. Pvp isnt fun because some people have spent years mastering their class and gearing them so far ahead and they have stupid one shot ability set ups which should never exist. Pve is too easy and pvp is too dumb. Too many classes that have too much going on.

The issues with pvp leveling is the unbalance of heirloom gear having 200-300% more stats than the blue stuff you can obtain from the bags. If you have a full set of looms you will 1 shot most players.

if they make the flight paths better rather then "cruise to the spot" then no flying mounts but if they keep it the way it is. i want my own flying mount... World buffs are... Meh, they should not be a thing for warriors to get just to be top peak power, warrior should already be powerful enough without a lot of buffs but REQUIRES the world buffs to be pulling proper numbers. I don't like it. If they change the world buffs to be just purchasable in a vendor of some sort... Or I guess keep it the way it is but I don't like it to much cause you have to go all the run about shit just to get them... More unique classes and race would be awesome to see. More unique, awesome events through the world would be cool just like they did in SoD. Change to spell effects and the like would be nice. Mainly most of QoL stuff is good.

classic+ is just something streamers and youtubers abuse for clickbait videos, its never been confirmed, you got season of discovery.

I haven't done much leveling pvp but a lot of end game pvp and there's actually a large variety of builds performing well and the other pvpers I talk to keep coming up with new build combinations. I guess the leveling experience must be difference because I have seen hunter both melee and ranged hit like a truck, and mainly playing flag carrier I really need to know which people/spec I need to pop defensives instantly to survive.

classic has always been the world buff meta. cant change that

the reason for elves in the horde is still the same: some ppl refuse to play a "monster", and their friends refuse to play on alliance, so that's the compromise so they can play together

I dont trust Blizzard anymore .... I have struggle to convince myself to give War within a chance ... and they know its their last chance to keep playerbase... Eather way they made Classic + statement becouse they see what private servers are making. Specially Turtle WoW. I really dont think classic + will be something awesome if they didnt even start information about with player housing etc. wich they promised waaaay long time ago. As a further opinion. Classic servers should become free to play becouse they will die if they will not make them so. Classic + should be a very small payment... Why you ask ? if classic + will become something good (wich i dont believe) Blizzard will implement Stores thats more certain than ever

I will at least be there for Classic+ launch. If it sucks that's fine, private server scene is looking real good

Might be a hot take, but just make certain abilities have higher leans into PvP or PvE; mortal strike being a good example, while in PvE.. it might be a filler toward execute, but in PvP it has higher player based damage with less leans on setup.. there are so many useless abilities/talents that don't really get much play, but could be thematically fun.. Ultimately, as you said, there isn't a perfect balance in a class like system; but builds could have strengths in different catagories and would be easier to balance toward. Blanket balance isn't fun for anyone.

YES. YES felforged mode made ascension so good bc there was finally a way to do open world pvp at lower level + it gave good data for the devs to balance things. Sadly its gone

I like your videos but I am on area 52 and some of the stuff you show I can never find I never get close to the damage you do either. I tried the scorched earth build you had and I can only do about 500 damage vs players at level 70.

used to play asc alot started back in s3 and we were the top pvp guild (meta), but in s9 or so i got perma banned after an admin screwed up my character after i had a bug and removed talent points from me so instead of missing 3 which was a common bug i was missing 5 and instead of aplogizing and fixing it he tried to call me out and said i was racist, blocked and permabanned me lmao. I was good with the other admins but didnt bother talking about the issue, so I just left server and stopped caring. Also heard its getting worse and worse for pvpers each season so im glad it went that direction after that shitshow 😂

2019 classic WoW open world PvP will never be beat. I was lucky with a 50/50 horde/alliance ratio and when other servers were creating death trains to farm honour, ours just chilled. These days if I want to play PvP there are better MMO's for it, like Guild Wars 2

the solution is actually realy simple... Area 52 (the main Server) is for pvp and always was, while the seasonal server is more or mainly for pve, so if you want to have some actual good pvp you start playing on A52 and build your own class instead of prestiging 500 times, also A52 pve works aswell there its just not as popular^^// start playing on the actual main server and the problem is solved lol

i stopped playing that server PVP is very bad...getting 1 shot all over the place full pvp gear fun server very bad pvp the player that's going to say that pvp is fun are the one that's going to say you dont have skill are the one player 1 shooting player left end right its fun for them but not for you well dont take my word for it go do pvp you will get it

My only gripe is with melee and charge if that is a level one talent then blink should be a level one talent. I get melee can get kited but the issue is I have to pick 3 talents just to be mobile enough if i'm a caster and at that point I cant really make a build that I want. It is a good game but something needs to be done with melee and mobility for casters. I cant make a decent build as a caster and if I try i sacrifice mobility and I never get to cast or do anything becuse melee is on my 24/7 and I get charged by 10 people and cant move.

Here, this wont take 17 minutes to say or do. It's unbalanceable, and never will be. Metas will be made by poopsockers and you will either lose to it consistently or conform and not have fun. Oh.. You also get to rebuy everything every new season since Ascension is such a massive cashgrab project.

i done prestige 35 so far just on BG's i love the pvp ( i did buy heirloom kit, only coz im lazy and cba to get kit each time i lvl ) i sell the bags for marks - and im going to keep collecting untill i get bored, so builds i do are really poor some builds i do i top dps.... im running frost bomb mage atm and its melting people, i think if anything abilities need a buff, or just make a pvp set from lvl 1-60 so everyone is even, and then when you hit 60 make the 1st pvp kit free so its easy for 60+ players to get into pvp 🎉🎉🎉🎉

it's almost like giving players access to all abilities from all classes in addition to hundreds more abilities and talents allows for powerful builds and is impossible to balance.

Tried pvp at 60 and some builds just aren’t enough. A Scorch/Pyro build seemed good, but did almost no damage. A moonfire/missile barrage did better. Even with massive pvp gear it didn’t seem enough to make a difference.

here is idea insted of nerfing everything why not buff weak spells insted

I have been playing quite a bit of ascension wow pvp recently, and there is a massive gap between casual vs veteran pvpers. I think instead of nerfing dps it may work better to increase defense abilities and numbers, the stuns fears and silence are broken. It is common to be chain cc till dead. More defense and less cc would make pvp easier to get into.

nothing is good in Ascension wow PVP, you cant do 0 vs casters with 10 fears slows and many many more espec if you are melee, dont even try to play Rogue here 5 combo point says its stuns 4 sec but its 3 and if you use Shadow dance next cheap shot stuns 1 sec and after dance is over Kidney shot dont even stun and you spand 5 points for nothing, Unbalance as always...

Lightening blade is super nerfed in pvp been like that for years

I quit playing ascension after like 15 prestiges and not finding felforged weapon, which you need to play basically any melee build which is dumb

Match making needs tuning. Most of the matches I've been in have a handful of X0-X3 vs teams of X8-Y0 and it's just a slaughter...why bother? I'd rather be in a queue longer and get a lvl balance team.

They nerfed demolisher in s6 or s7 and its been garbage since. Instead of fixing abilities they have, they just imlement more and more stuff and nerf whatever is outlier. Usually to never look back at it again.
