Still rocking the focus mk1 hatchback 5doors 1.8L TDDI. I’m in love with it. I’m basically starting to replace almost everything now with new parts, it runs still smooth a part from some internal vibration (center console, dash, glovebox and the driver door, the first 2 were messed with a lot). Other than that, with new oils and filters it runs very well for being 19yo.

I am from uk and i have 2003 focus st170. Before i had a 2ltr ghia. Much love for for the mk1, when i upgrade i will go go for the mk1 rs turbo. Love these cars. Not much that can go wrong that you cant fix yourself. Look after them ie regular oil/filter changes keeping fluid levels topped up and they will pretty much go forever.

Oh no no no, no RS. It's fast but it's stripped down and is wider. Defeats the purpose of a easily fixable car. Also I do like my heated windshield, heated seats and trip computer. Also I do like having a coolant temp gauge on my car :D (The RS has a boost gauge instead of the coolant temp gauge).

I have a mk1 focus face lift. Its a 2003 1.6 zetec. It has 137k miles on it and still runs like a trooper! As the mk1 focus is my favourite car, I have it slated to become my next restoration project.. (once my 1990 celica is done). I've got new sills to weld on, all new suspension, drop links, control arms, brakes, ect. Basically anything that I can buy new I have bought new for the car. I've spent 2.5k on parts alone for it over the past year or so 😬. But once the car is finished it will be an absolute minter. Im planning a full engine/glass out respray. Both inside and out will be resprayed. Im really looking forward to starting on it!
