I really don't think it's happening at invictus but I'd be fine being wrong.
Highly highly doubt we'll see it this Invictus given the lack of recent progress. On the other hand, Zeus looks increasingly likely given they're now in the polish and tidbits phase.
I can't wait to lose some S10 Torpedos.
Minimum expectation: we getting a docked tour of the Polaris or flyby
Reaching expectation: we get the Polaris with some functionality missing
Exceed expectation: All systems go… and I can throw someone into the brig

I think they mentioned in a fairly recent(ish) video that they’re still features that still need to be worked on. Like the ship defense system that shoots down incoming missiles. I forgot what thats called.
Engineering too is another one. But considering that CIG cannot be trusted with anything they say, they might release it unfinished. Which is on par with everything about this game.
And that wasn’t 100% an insult. That’s factually true in every aspect of this “game”.
Edit: rumors are that it’s gonna just be a flyby. Interior is supposedly not even done. Oh well

@@YOU_ARE_COOKED it’s gonna crash the servers cause so many people have one. now that I say that I think server meshing was another prerequisite for it to come out. Too many big ships being spawned in on one shard/server.

It's already confirmed that the Polaris won't by flyable, it'll only be the outside in the formation
It's only part of the "fleet flyby" it's not coming out. It's like the Idris, Jav, or Bengal flyby

Just enjoy the flyby. It'll be a nice first peak at the Polaris in game, and that's worth being excited about. Saltiness just makes life worse.

Argo Cargo has a tractor beam on it if you look at 0:17.
It has no module in that scene too. Like it's not a Cargo or Passenger variant but a bare one. I wonder if that means it can carry large SCU containers like in previous cinematics.

Right on the heels of the 3.23 drop (probably), which means area 18 will be bugged, the trams won't work, the convention center won't have a floor or some other masterful bug preventing lots of people from experiencing it as it should be.

I started playing the 16th of April, and this is my first Invictus week.
I'm excited to be able to take part in this with you all. ♥
Ooo then you'll like it. And you'll really like the IAE later this year in November. It'll be twice as big as ILW. And it'll have all flyable ships and ground vehicles available. Not limited to just mil spec.

@@jasonfrost5025 Ehh. I think it really depends on each and every single individual person. I'm not as old as the original kickstarter, but I did start watching it's development in 2015. I've been playing since 2018, and I must say, at least for myself, and most of my friends, we've been very satisfied with the content we've been given. Plus the content we can make ourselves which is almost endless in the possibilities. And I must say as a veteran of 6 years of playing, I'm really looking forward to this newest 3.23 patch. Being familiar with what the game currently offers I know it'll vastly change everything on how it's played and nothing ever will feel old.

Invictus Launch Week, our annual military expo, returns on May 17-29 with a special Free Fly!
Test-fly the UEE Navy's finest ships, catch first looks at brand-new releases in Area18 on ArcCorp, rediscover old favorites, and more as we welcome the UEE Naval fleet to the Stanton system once more.
This year, the event will feature a flyby of the RSI Polaris, and an unguided tour of an Idris.
Yeah, but I'll take it. I'm patient, and don't want to see what happened to Cyberpunk 2077 to happen to Star Citizen by rushing it too much. Besides, I pledged for a Perseus, so I'm even further back in the line compared to the Polaris folks, so I'm not stressing :D

It moves to a different location each year. This year is Area 18's turn. BMM is still in the "no idea when" stage. It's a one-off design with few reusable resources, and everyone who had been involved in working on it before left the company.

Looks like a valk to me too little seen to be 100% sure but the scene would justify a valk to drop off marines or engineers to help the people.

@@dragonboy5430 Buy your ships now! It's not confirmed, but it looks like they're only wiping credits, and ship rentals. Not sure why they said ship rentals, as rentals don't last long much anyway. But it looks like at least I hope, we'll get to keep in-game purchased ships.

Considering that the reclaimer has been in the game since the beginning, as far as I remember, and was only really “usable” fairly recently (patch wise), releasing the Polaris now with what the game has currently is still a possibility.

I don’t think the server can handle everyone spawning in Polaris’. It’s gonna crash the server

@@logicalChimp either way, we shall see. Either the trailer is fake bs marketing and the ship doesn’t come out/only has touring like the Jav or it does come out as a surprise even though CIG said that it’s not ready for release. You can trust them to say anything. We will see
