Most perm videos on youtube are horrible. The end result looks like frizzy mess with no curls at all. Now, this is simply amazing. So many curls, such a beautiful structure. I would love to have a perm like this

Hi! I tried doing permanent curls "professionally" in the salon. Mine didn't like the medicine (Pagoda). The hairstylist poured medicine 4 times. I bleached my hair months before going there. When the hairstylist took the curler, it was damaged, dry and burnt hair. I would like to ask an advice in what you would like for me to use as my shampoo/conditioner. I've tried researching but it's still in a very bad figure :( help me please. Thanks

Never seen anyone do a perm with so much care and love, if you get a perm where im from you most likely will come out with very damaged frizzy hair and the hairstylist doesnt care or go above and beyond to learn the proper technique

I agree. I had a perm done the other day. Result was appalling. My hair was frizzy and dry, no curl whatsoever. This video is amazing

A weird thing about curls is that they make you look younger. Still a mystery how they do it.

I think it’s because a lot of kids have curly hair when they are younger, but the hair straightens out over time, therefore curly hair would be associated with being younger? Also the waves and softness of curls looks more “innocent” than a straight line along with the silhouette that the different textures give.

I've been getting my hair permed for over 20 years in various salon from the student budget to the ridiculously expensive and never turned out this good.

As someone who watched a LOT of curly hair videos (and I have wavy hair myself), the key to avoiding frizz is how you handle the hair from the point that you start taking out the rods. You have to be gentle and not ruffle the roots or the curls themselves until the hair is dry. A lot of stylists treat it like straight hair, which you can toss around while blow drying and move every which way. With curls, you have to keep them in their "clumps" to avoid frizz.

It’s such a shame they don’t teach you how to perm anymore. When I trained to be a hairdresser,you was taught how to perm as well. It was part of the qualification,now they don’t bother. There’s always going to be a time that it comes back in fashion and clients are going to want the spiral/normal perm for body and volume. So glad I did my training when I did. Love to see natural looking curls
They still teach perms. Rolling the rods are a requirement for board certification.
They teach this at the local college. They get all the old ladies because nobody in any salons want to do them.
In the uk they still learn to do perms. I had a perm done couple months back by a student at the Tony n guy academy in London it’s absolutely gorgeous I love it

As as African American woman, I usually watch relaxers or perms to make hair straight...this is the first time I saw a curly perm. It was so fascinating to watch...
This is absolutely amazing👏 I don't think many salons use the perm sponge and when they pore on the products alot of it doesnt cover all the hair which leaves some hair more waves than curly but this method bring the best curls. Good tips for salons to take on bored. Amazing!

My hair has transitioned naturally from curls to straight, to wavy... I prefer curls, but want to be sure whoever perms my hair has a lot of experience. I want these curls. This is the best perm I've ever seen... turned out absolutely beautiful!

Loved this video, all other videos I have seen about curly perm are horrible and I hate the results, this one is just amazing result. I have curly hair, but my curls have lost their curl pattern but i refuse to stay with this wavy hair so I want to do a perm to get back the patter I use to have. this video gave me hope🤓

My hair is about the length and texture of the young lady in the video. I can't get anyone in our area to do a perm (although I have had many in my lifetime) I gave myself one several yrs ago and it turned out OK I would like to know if there are a few tips since I can't fly to Dubai The applicator that applies the solution (I have never seen anyone use that and it seems ingenious) Is that a foam rubber tip on the top? The neutralizer is liquid but comes out foamy. Is that because it is in that sprayer? I found that Wella does a pre and post treatment for perms. Would that be used at the beginning after shampooing and after rinsing the neutralizer.? I do have color on my hair so I would use one for color treated hair. Thank you for your video It was really very professional and great results.

Que bonito y natural le quedo su cabello. Es poco frecuente ver este tipo de procedimientos, lo más común es ver siempre los laciados permanentes. Me gustó mucho esta propuesta.

Yo me hago la permanente para darle más volumen y porq de joven siempre tuve mus rulos,ahora no y los extraño,pero me quedan así pero a medida q se va secando mi cabello desaparecen ,la última me quedo muy poco porq me olvidé de lavarmelo con shampoo neutro , pero como me la hago yo no tengo a quien reclamarle
