@@jomontanee it's 2 bed room and it's 70k.
You possibly think it reasonable for you. But it not for thailand. You can buy a house just by pay installment of 20k.
I guess that means you guys are getting a great cut rate on Condos.
Retirement people can't afford this.
@@jomontanee no
Well, I wrote emails 2 or 3 times to that address, and nobody ever bothered replying. Not so eager to please, apparently... It seems that RWFY positions itself in the "Sell the Thai Dream abroad" segment of the market. But no issue, there are plenty of serious and professional estate agents keen to work with expats already in Thailand.
Would you say it's easier to find good value condos in the Ratchathewi/Bang Rak regions?
Looking for a 2-3BR in the similar budget range.
I would LOOOOVE if you could repeat this episode, but in different neighborhoods in Bangkok like Thong Lor, Ari, Huay Kwang, Siam, Yaowarat, etc.

Don't buy an apartment in Bangkok, rent first, try a few areas, then you'll realise that buying is a bad idea! Great video Chris & Team!
i like buying so i can choose everything in it
I bought a condo in Bangkok in 1998. Best decision I ever made given the discount condos were going for back then due to the 1997 Asian financial crisis. Very central and within walking distance of 1) a railway station, 2) a BTS station and 3) an Airport Link station. Best thing is that the common area fee, at around THB 2000/month, is a faction of the rent you would pay for a similar condo in the same area.
Chris we need a video for a $200-$500 budget pla
Very entertaining as usual Chris. The more I watch the more I’m convinced a move to Thailand is required.
Just check the visa situation first.
@@swhiting100 I think I’m going to 2 months in then a month Laos/Cambodia/Vietnam on rotation. Digital nomad style
Yes!
The 1st 70k a month condo is worth the price with the inside space, wrap around balcony and the amazing view. However, the condo you chose has the dream location so good job Chris ❤
agreed. the wrap around balcony is a lot better.
With a budget of around 2000€ I would move into a nice 4-5 star hotel.
😂 yes!
You are saying for 2000 Euro ($73US including tax) per night you can live in a 5-star Hotel? That sounds low, which hotels would that be ?
@@andrewo5439 there are a decent amount of apartment-hotels/serviced-apatrments comparable to 3-4 star hotels range that come out to about that much with 12-month contacts
I like the Asscot brand of properties.
@@andrewo5439 Try using google lol. I have stayed at a 5star hotel (which are european 5stars) for 45/night. Its not difficult to find in SEA
@@andrewo5439 uhhhh bro 2000 euros doesn’t equal 73$ 🤣
Your videos are so entertaining. I love the energy, attitude, everything.
How very exciting for you to have a wonderful condo with a spectacular view of Bangkok. I think I loved the last condo y'all showed but it happened too fast.
I stayed for a month at Hyde Sukhumwit 11. The units are nice and the 38th floor rooftop pool is the perfect place to watch the sun set over the city. But man, living on soi 11 is a pain. Especially on the weekend or at night, it would take you 30 minutes in a taxi just to get out of the soi, so you have to walk quite a ways away just to save time.
I came here to say this. I spent Dec 2022 there and couldn't wait to leave! Soi 11 is a nice place to visit but not to live imo. I ended up with a year lease in a building right next to Petchaburi MRT, so close enough but out of the mayham
You got lot of energy and enthusiasm. Very good video Chris
I love the last one. It's perfect when your parents and Anna come for a visit during the summer.
I just left Sukhumvit Bangkok for a 4 day visit. Bangkok is nice visit but glad to be back in my Beach condo in Phuket. Great video as Always Chris❤😊
I love these condo videos.
The one you chose offers the greatest views, but I think I would have gone for the one on Sukhumvit 11 with the beautiful swimming pool. Where Adam is living is nice too!
Rapid and very useful Chris, thank you!🙏
The last one! Good price, although it is a bit older. For a family of three, last one is best. Other than that, I’d go with the first one for couple/bachelor pad!
Love this video! Must have been fun making this, I can tell, and you’ve had a bit of a sun burn. Keep up the good work!
I love the last one too. Good view good price.
Another great vid! Thanks Chris. 😎
I love the wrap around balcony! But I wonder if they could add more furniture in the living area. I also like the modern 2 bedroom near the hospital.
Hysterical as always! Love your work, Chris you make me smile!
Another great video. A little more than I can afford but fun and informative. Enjoy the views. I'm sure you will be very happy there.
Congratulations Chris and thanks for the entertaining hunt. Wish you a great time in your new apartment.
I was so entertained, that was so much fun. Made my morning!
Great video, as always so informative. I love you man 💋
I love your videos man, keep it up.
Great reviews Chris 😍 We may need to check these condos out 🤔
Omg I LOVE the rapid real estate style haha. Pleaaaaase do one of these for Koh Samui 🤗💜
I was surprised you picked the one you picked! The lower-priced units seem to offer more space and amenities. The first unit at 45,000 baht was quite nice! Prime 11 is my choice!
Awesome location and beautiful views! Congratulations!
Love the wrap-around balcony! Can't wait to move to Thailand in two years.
Yeah that balcony was something else!! Would have had my vote.
Yes, that wrap around balcony one was nice.
Dave dnt b an idiot place is fffd
2:58 Noi was genuinely startled..XD Love your randomness and informative character.
Go with the 70k unit. You know you want it Chris. I hate Bangkok and I want it. hahaha That massive wrap around balcony sold me. I love the fact that most places come full finished ready to move it. No big moving headaches.
Great video Chris! Very entertaining as always. Welcome neighbor!
I like the rapid fire house hunting...straight to the point without all the useless fluff, Keep up the good work.
Keep ya fit also : - )
my head was spinning trying to keep track on the condos. good choice in the end it is what you want and what makes you happy very nice looking place
Great choice guys - love it❤
I liked the first one the best. And the realtor seemed pretty cool.
love the rapid fire format!
Wow! You got beautiful views and good location. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉
You guys did it !! Well done and deserved
I love your content. My boyfriend and I are planning on visiting over there to see if we want to rent or buy a place. Such a beautiful place. I will keep watching.
Great idea to create these kind of videos (would definitely do a series every month with other areas).
You made my day whenever you leave someone and running to the other person
👌🏼😂, if i were with you i would grab you or run with you to see who is offering the other unit!
Aloha, Chris
Love your videos! Thank you for making great videos which help expats looking to move to Thailand🙏🏽
I love that one with the pool deck. I've never seen something like that before
Congratulations on your new condo, great video.
My choice would be to live the high life and go for The Room, Sukhumvit 21 with that amazing private, huge, wrap around terrace. Wow! Good luck
Thanks for the rapid fire. And U got in a good exercise.
I like the rooms at the Room condo. They have less character than the older, more spacious, units but I like the bright feel of the place.
awesome video chris................its hardwork
I’m moving to this area in a few months, this video was great!
I love the presentation and fun also I love your positive attitude wish you and your partner the best. Cheers.
I loved the 70k condo with the huge balcony. When I visited Bangkok, the balcony in my condo was tiny. That’s the only condo I’ve seen with a usable balcony.
Hello Chris, Thumbs up👍 great decision , the view is insane, wow ! i had a lot of laughing, and i was exhausted by watching you running in the heat of Bangkok, but it was worth to watch your tour ! Lol !✌😂😅Cheers 🥂🍺home sweet home
Good choice Chris. Jeron was right. Be in Wednesday to do a bit of house hunting myself. ATB, Nutt.
Plan to move to Thailand when I retire in the next 5 to 10 years and pretty set on living near Terminal 21 Asok as well. Love the area. Don't need a 2 bedroom but they are enticing. Thanks for the great video.
OMG, renting in BKK is expensive. I like the one near Bumrungraj hospital. Traffic in BKK is crazy. Living near the hospital is a good thing for those who have health issues.
I think the rent in Bkk is still affordable. Guess it depends on what your used to. Traffic as well. Im from LA, which has way worse traffic and super high cost of living so bkk still sounds great to me! Lol 👍😎
@@CandiceLikes I agree with renting in LA. Most people I know moved out of LA because of high cost of living. I live in Chicago suburbs but work in Chicago. In term of term of traffic, Chicago traffic is not that bad compared with BKK traffic.
The difference is renting while working or not.... Many places are affordable with a good job! 70k baht is extreme in retirement...
Very interesting vlog my Bra. Thank you.
I loved that one with the massive patio! Omg!
The balcony apartment was awesome
Enjoy watching all your videos
It's pretty amazing that you can get a decent sized condo for THB50k p/m (or roughly USD$1500) in a humming capital city.
I loved my sukhumvit apartment. Great location and less than 10,000 a month. Those were the days. Of course my whole apt would fit into one of the rooms you're showing. Something for everyone.
Great video. All about the budget ❤
Just now seeing some of your videos, I enjoy them. I live up north in Chiang Mai. Fortunately for me, I stay with between my friend and his wife's house here, and my apartment if needed (both on the same street.) I've been here for 7 months now (language visa) and staying till the end of the year. My plan next time out here is to get a business going but I have to go back to oil and gas for a bit to build that kind of capital for the timeframe I'm looking at. Keep up the videos.
Right on bro dig it. Your wife is cool af too. We will be posted up in Cha am/ Hua Hin krap. God willing🙏🏻
congrats Chris.🎉🎉🎉
Chris I am currently in Florida but for some reason tahiland is calling my name. it looks so nice there and I hope to visit in a year or so. Would love to spend time there. love watching all your videos haha feel like I actually know you
Dude, I was born in Plant city, FL. I take the train from Bangkok to Ayutthaya. ...it was literally just like rural Florida. So, basically Asian Florida. Take a train ride and tell me I'm wrong !
My partner and I have been looking to buy some properties for investment for a while and your docu has been very useful. Thanks. If we were to join in the frank to rent, we'll probably choose the Wattana suites for its sheer size and reasonable rates. Sayo. 🙏
I'ma huge fan of this channel
Love this video. x
Great video!
perfect agent🥳🥳 , great guy to drink with as well 105 days Bangkok here i come Again
12:28 the guard is so cute, posing and inviting you from the background. Goes on for a while :D
Last one, by far! Best value for the price in my personal opinion...
house hunting and food. Sweet.
Glad you found a place.
Go for Hyde Sukhumvit 13 ... that view is mind-blowing
Omg your energy is out of this world hahahaha. I giggled when you ran and left Noi behind. Lollll
Hi Chris :)
I’m Thai subscriber, for now I work in security position at TheRoom Sathorn-taksin condominium. I hope to see you at my work place, have a nice day.
Yes! I knew you'd go for that one. Well done Chris and Hayley :) The place is amazing, especially with the nice ceilings
Very nice house in Bangkok I love to see it have a nice day my friend, greetings from Indonesia ❤
The last one! Hands down.
I wish someone would do a video on The River next to icom mall. I would like to see that area and some of the condos
Sick! thanks bro
Thoroughly entertaining Chris and informative too! I love your vids.
I like the balcony place. It’s hard to find a good outdoor space that’s all your own in a big city.
Good choice and nice view every day.
check out Villa Asoke condo 200M from Petchburi-Asoke junction MRT. The best view is the side facing Sansab canal as this side of the building have the entire Bangkok city skyline. There won’t be any construction to ruin the view unlike other location because there are 2 of the biggest schools located across the canal right opposite this condo. The building is quite new and well kept up and the community is great. facilities are excellent especially, the roof top. Right now, the rent is still fairly inexpensive. highly recommend.
My Pick's for the 70,000 bht price. First choice is Celes Asoke for new upscale and Location at Terminal 21 & BTS #2 Choice is The Room Sukhumvit 21 for it's size 100 sqm and Huge Balcony 70,000 bht. I Think You will pick one of these unless You need to stay at the 50,000 range
Lovely place mate enjoy.
Congrats on your new abode! Going to be in BK later this month and condo shopping to buy. Any thoughts on the Whiizdom towers. Specifically the Essence by the Punnawithi BTS stop.
Great video, thank you! Congrats on a wonderful new place to call home! Did you mention the pricing on Celes, by chance? I may have missed it - thank you!!
it was in the on-screen text, but the first Celes unit was 65K/mo and the 2nd one was 85k/mo as i recall.
Adam you are a rock star dude==Yes you have graduated
Hi Chris! Absolutely in love with your Channel.
I would appreciate if you share some videos on how life is during monsoon/rainy season? Are businesses open as usual? It’s recommended not to visit from Aug-Nov. But how is it living there during that time? Is it okay to visit? Would love to hear from you.
Thank you and Haley for sharing so much with us 💖
i don't mind rainy season myself. i definitely prefer it to hot season. all businesses are open.
I'm 30 seconds into your video, Chris, ..and I really like your shirt!
I might randomly comment again. ..hard to say for sure.
For the money and the size of the unit. I would defiantly choose the last one.
They seem really expensive to me…. I think it’d cost less in Manchester!
But I’d have chosen yours or the balcony. Maybe. That one with the spa was nice too.
Actually really hard.
Wow lot off nice apartment.......greatings to you nice Condo
its so funny but i am fan-club thank u for represent my country..
Awesome video
The 9th option. "Wattana." Slightly older but clean, with more space, and near the good stuff.
