- To say I was excited to get this machine behind this truck is an understatement. I did not expect it to do as well as it did. Will be even better once I complete the upgrades I have planned.

Every single time I hope in my F-450 I’m impressed by it. I just love this truck. I got my first low washer fluid light this week also. 😉😊
Love that 450! Hate seeing it so dirty though 😂. I know it’s a work truck but I’d be washing it every week 😄👍🏼
F450s a beast ! I had a f 350 / 6.2 gas 4:30 gears I loved it , towed for business to about 10,000, 13k lbs , 10k trailer & Kubota 3901 / loader , no problem had 23k gvwr, best shifting truck ever , manual mode was awesome , love your 450 bad ass
Hey workplaytv keep making awesome videos on your channel i love watching your channel alot keep up the great work on your channel say safe and healthy with your family i hope this will get better soon so we can get back to normal life soon how you like your f450 as your wife been driving it😀
The 550 is just a beast stuff truck made to pull weight that 450 Does it so smooth and effortless I love it to have comfort like that with s as load that heavy is impressive
Awesome slip tank, exactly what I need now that a Kubota tractor has been added to the mix. Filling it is gonna be painful on the wallet though with current prices.
Speaking of fuel had a buttload of cans and nearly empty truck, and a guy with a 10 wheeler and me were laughing our asses off as all the little Hondas pulled up and got pissed off cause we weren't going anywhere quick 🤣
20 freakin gasoline pumps and they all want to fill at the ONE diesel one !
Oh man nothing gets me more fired up! Lol
New to your channel mate loving the vids so far 😊
Watching this Saturday morning while having coffee next to wife. Wife: what are you doing, come on, time to make breakfast. Me: hold on, trying to see if it will need to shift down to seventh on this pull. Wife: 😵💫
Hahahahahahaha that made me laugh
Sweet, love my 6.7 it's a fly250
Outstanding video as usual! Best Regards!
Bruce.
Awesome setup
This video made me a Ford fan, beautiful truck.
Man that 450 is such a beast
Awesome setup.
Awesome video. The 450 is badd azz. Tons of power. JB Reviews just had a race with a cummins HO 3500 vs the 450 with 10k pounds. Ford easy win. The new powerstrokes are the best diesel trucks engine right now
That is a bonus for sure to bring on the 450
Just ordered a 22 f 350 srw platinum in rapid red probably wont get it until August I’m already cant wait for it and the waiting just started !!!
Haha awesome! Congrats
Very impressive!!
New Strokers are bad ass!
Make sure you occasionally check those turnbuckles holding the fuel tank because they tend to shake loose.
You bet
so nice truck.. i love se it towing
We got a similar version of this truck. Got the antimatter blue but also the stone gray two tone. Didn't order the Camper Package. Is it needed for towing fifth wheel/goose neck or bumper pull RVs? No plans to put a drop in camper on the back of the truck. Figured it would save on the weight.
Cummins always tacs to 3k rpm almost as soon as you let off the gas and it's also a 2021 3500 high output
S&B makes an amazing 60 gallon replacement tank with a transfer pump option to fill equipment. Definitely worth a look
100 gallon
Nice truck
That Antimatter blue dirty still looks sexy AF on your truck great vid by the way.
Thanks!
Beautiful truck and color nice job! Ive been looking at gooseneck trailers. What do you think of Southland trailers in Canada?
Not bad. I’d go Diamond C
Really nice truck.... kinda dirty thougjh.... Ha...work it man..
workplaytv Oh but that’s not a brick wall and v8s just scream at high rpm according to PD Diesel Power 😂🤣
Man that’s a beast! Love it! 💪
Hahahaha yeah
nice truck
Looking at a Yanmar Vio-80. Hoping my 20 f350 can handle. Might have to bump up to a 450
I've never pulled heavy in a diesel pick-up, I've only driven big semi's. When I'm pulling a hill at full weight I'm floored and still loosing speed. In your pick-ups pulling the big EX are you floored as well or are you modulating the throttle?
This was in cruise for this video.
I like to not floor it but sometimes you have to.
I absolutely the look F450
Didn’t know you could pull a kx080 with a 450...impressive
Nice!! Impressive... :-)
So how many miles are on this truck I’ve heard a lot of problems with them with the transmission in the CP4 also Heard the engine brake doesn’t really slow you down at all
Ford hasn’t really had any issues with the CP4 not many trans issues either
Sweet
Hey bro can u make a video on how to load your 40 ft trailer ..weight distribution and chain binding 💯💯
This trailer is only a 30’ but I do have a video if you search back through my videos.
how does the 450 do on the snow compared to the previous srw? was the srw significantly better?
Deep snow it was. The weight of this truck and the tires hurt it.
When you set the engine brake do you use the first setting or second setting? The first setting is trying to slow you down, second setting will try to maintain your speed without letting the truck pickup speed going downhill
Honestly I use both at times. Lol
@@workplaytv sweet haha. I was just curious to see which you were using in this video. The setup is sick! Love the new 450!
In my state the state police have been all over the fuel tanks in the bed if your not inspected with a current sticker your screwed luckily I’m up to date but I got pulled the other day for them to look at it
8TH gear seems like the pulling gear ,I regularly pull 21K and these thinks are tow monsters!
Great video. Let us know what bags you put on.
When you have time I would love to know the rear airbags you put on it. Many thanks and again, great video
Hi Love from India
time to update your channel picture with the 450
Dam!
6:45 You must have the only F450 pickup thats 14500. n the US they are capped at 14000 , if its higher it becomes a class 4 vehicle.
Yeah I misspoke there I am used to my 350 SRW and it’s 11,500
Where did you buy the tank? I cant find on RDS website where to order
I ordered through my local shop I deal with.
Tyson you just confirmed it for me, that my next truck will be a 450. It may not be the newest model but it will be close.
Beautiful tractor the only disadvantage the price by the time you have payed off you need a new one
That’s business
Question? Can I turn on “tow/haul” at 60 mph? I use tow haul from 0 to get my 3500 lbs up to speed, but turn it off for less RPMs. Will I hurt my truck
I would leave it on all times while towing. You don’t want your engine lugging.
@@workplaytv Thanks for your advice, I’ll give it a try
I may have missed this but why did you choose a 450 over having another 550?
550 detuned
@@joemeyer2726 I see what is your average miles per gallon pulling heavy?
@@drDude54 9.2 @ 65mph flat, 8.8 mountains, speed more important than gearing
Just curious would you tow this load with a 350 single wheel?
What year? A 2011-19 it would probably be more over the limit than I would push. A 2020 probably could, after all the SRW and DRW have the same suspension and brakes. I probably wouldn’t try it though, unless I was desperate and didn’t need to go far. It’s a shame too since my dream truck is an F350 King Ranch Tremor, and I want this exact machine and trailer setup. Whatever, I’ll just go with an F350 DRW. You probably should too
I certainly wouldn’t
Why do the dash lights keep flashing…???
It’s how it comes through the camera
Is your Ford f-450 better for towing Than a ram 5500??
Much more hp and torque
How is the engine brake?
Oh. It doesn't do much...
Unless you manually downshift to the redline
Lol well if you watch it actually did great going down a very long steep grade. Didn’t touch the brake once
@@workplaytv that's impressive. do you think it does more when the truck is pointed down grade?
@@DS-TRUCKS no it just uses the transmission more. I had it set on cruise and with the adaptive cruise I didn’t touch the brakes hardly at all. Very enjoyable drive
Yes, the cameras do suck! I use my wife with a set of walkie-talkies. My best backup camera 😜
I’ll use your wife if you give me your walkie-talkie.
Do you need a cdl to haul that?
Yup
5.3 mpg geez
figures idk if you're a tech guy but they just revealed the 2022 super duty with the new screen lol
I would describe myself as a tech guy. But screens don't belong in vehicles in my opinion
Yeah that’s fine I care about performance
Same here, I think the 8” is fine. In my opinion that 22 interior looks unnatural.
I’ve heard nothing but bad things with the 10 speed. Trans problem on all kinds of vehicles. I was going to buy one but going to wait now
Ok I guess wait then. No issues here
@@workplaytv you also have a new truck. Give it time
@@workplaytv There are some hot shot CZcams people reporting very hard bang shifting around 55-60 K miles like it’s self destructing and this is on several trucks . I’m gonna wait on this 10 speed.
@@roadglide1142 well I’ll be sure to keep you posted.
@@roadglide1142 I agree with you on the 10 speed. I've driven one in a f250 powerstroke and I hated it with a passion I found the only way to drive it was like you smashed your fingers in the door
1st 🦾🦾🐐
Why f450 a ram 3500 could handle why do all Ford guys go 450 the f350 can’t handle?
Ram doesn’t give the option. Wide front axle for better turning, larger brakes but still full power and pickup box.
Clearly you haven't heard of Uber or Lyft as a taxi!
Give Bauer his FJ back before you break it.
My neck hurts when you're behind the camera.
Haha what?
hi like see pic of ns i use too live in ns where you show part of 103 i been down that way many time
