It's nice to watch the band keep playing these great songs. Absolutely priceless. 😊

***There is no word to describe the wonder of AP's performance !! Arnel Pineda masters the song perfectly and is able to sing LIKE in the studio recording WHILE he is doing Concerts on LIVE !! Night after Night !!! His vocal versatility, talent, and high energy are the FUEL that keeps the Jurney Concert rocking for many years !!!
*AP brings such joyful energy and an international mix! Still packed arenas/stadiums and sold-out tickets, it's unbelievable !! It's nice to b able to watch great video footage like this but it's hard to beat the exciting Journey experience of watching in person the LIVE Journey Concert-, and singing along at the venue !! -- it's an incredible feeling, It's worth every penny!

Great tenor voice. I'm not sure why people are hating on Arnel. Why don't they try to sing all of Journey's songs live for at least 50 shows a year since 2007?!? I doubt they can handle even 1 show.

Considering that during their Lollapalooza presentation in 2022 Arnel was singing in a lower key (maybe it's 2021 but the live album was released in 2022), it requires balls to sing back in the old higher key
I think they were using quite a bit of autotune in 2021 and 2022 as well (lots of artifacting going on on that Lollapalooza performance), but they seem to have stopped doing that again in 2023 thankfully. I think Arnel's been having a hard time the last couple of years, probably from overworking himself. The drama in the band couldn't have helped.
This performance is fantastic, and so are most I've heard from 2023, so hopefully he doesn't let himself get that worn out again.
They were having sound problems then, he couldn’t hear himself singing for 12 years. The sound engineer was fired after that concert I think.
@@HeathenRenegade I think he was certainly using autotune. And he's still using it (see some live videos this year)
It has been corrected much more naturally than before, but I feel the pitch that is remarkably too well-organized.

He started having trouble with his vocals in 2021, i hope he’s got it recovered now? He usually sounds much better than this.
@ MisaFalaschi I don’t even know what that is or what it does, but if it helps him out a bit then I’d say go for it. 80 % of singers these days uses some kind of technology or AI to help with their live singing especially on tours any way as I gather.
I wish Neil would quit with the 5 minute intros on every song...
Cannot duplicate Steve Perry, no matter what. He sounds good here, but not Steve. It's not the Same without Steve Perry. Steve gives a distinctive touch that cannot be duplicated.

Steve left the band a long time ago. Love him, distinctive voice gave Journey the vocal sound. Arnel. came in when Journey was pretty much dead. The TV show Glee gave Journey a much needed new audience, and Arnel gave them their high vocal sound back.
