At the end of the day Dante didn't want Vergil to become the same demons that killed their mother and ruined their lives but knew that Vergil wouldn't listen no matter how much he pleaded so it was either the human world being destroyed by Vergil or Dante having to kill his brother
We all know the decision Dante chose in the end
I love how within the first 10 minutes of meeting Dante, he loses what is basically his house, cause if you notice in the opening cutscene he literally just got out of the shower, so this man lost his shop within 10 minutes of meeting Arkham. Fucking love the outlandishness and edgyness of this franchise.
