I agree.. Totally slept on just like Louisiana High School Basketball, smfh... If there's a player good enough to go D-1, at any university across the nation EVERY big time player that came from the boot(Chris Duhon, Joe Dumars, Clyde Drexler, Karl Malone, Danny Granger, Kelly Oubre, etc...)all proved that they belonged there and most more than not all became Hall of Fame player's. Da Boot is more nationally known for being a Baseball state than it is for basketball but, the players that do make it through the fire and do get to the league carry very little doubt on if they're talented enough to actually play and belong in that league. That's why(outside of Duke being my favorite team EVER) the ACC will forever be the best conference, athletically and just talent-wise IMO because they've always scouted the deep and end up getting the overall best player from Louisiana because in-state university's don't scout or give homegrown talent a fighting chance whatsoever! Our best players ALWAYS end up leaving home being All Americans and complete star's at these out of state university's. I just don't get how you not atleast offer the top athletes from your state or are late on their recruiting process and let schools like Notre Dame, Clemson, and Alabama crawl into your backyard and allow them all to commit other places, smfh....
