This is good footage. I wish you had more viewership.
I used to make trails in southern Massachusetts for big races. I would make them wide enough for 2 bikes, often having to connect 2 side-by-side paths that a previous chopper or bikes created to compensate for passing space.

Yep my club runs an enduro and the longest running dual sport run in America. Granted most of our events involve tight woods. We’re also limited with making new trail due to state forestry requirements.
The place I’m riding in the video is privately owned by a friend of mine. Really unique piece of land.
I appreciate the kind words about viewership. My channel was never about that though. Mainly do document rides and share with friends. Most of the stuff I upload isn’t worth anyone’s time lol.

@@PennsylvaniaDualSport Private land is funner, my biggest project was some old guy's plot that he didn't care about in Freetown, MA and that land owner got to fire the shotgun for each start. My friend ended up finishing 1st in his set on his KTM with a back flat tire.
I do like how this trail has a lot of straightness to it. When you're carving these things on-foot, you don't realize how quick they're going to rip through it and end up making scrambles.

Damn that's about the best track I've ever seen, single or otherwise. Real dirt, slope... ah man, so jealous. My consolation, I get to ride 12 months a year. Safe riding.

That place looks like a lot of fun! I am in central Maryland and struggling to find good public places to ride. I did the Greenridge ride last month and the family trail ride with my daughter at white rose motorcycle club in PA the following weekend. Do you or any of your followers have any recommendation of places I can ride either alone dual sport style or kid friendly areas within a few hours drive of central MD? Also any places that include on site or nearby camping options?

Hey Matt. This particular area is private belonging to a friend of mine. I do ride with a guy from Maryland but since he has the same dilemma along with a young daughter who also rides, he either goes to Famous Reading Outdoors or AOAA. At FRO the child needs to be 12 or older.
The dual sport trails at Bald Eagle State Forest just opened for the season this weekend. Any operator needs to have a drivers license and bike must be plated. The trails are free however it is a very small club that maintains them so I’d suggest at least being a supporting member to Pennsylvania Trail Riders Association (PATRA).
If you’re looking for just gravel and dirt road type stuff there are tons of loops in PA and website with tracks to follow. You also have the MABDR.
I was at Greenridge too. Just so you know there’s two rides there a year. Another is done by another club in October during the leave change.
I’d also suggest the Michaux Dual Sport but that sold out in 3 minutes. I’m a trail boss for that event and will be working on it (mainly deadfall cutting) with a crew next weekend.

@@PennsylvaniaDualSport Thanks for getting back to me. My daugther has a few years to wait and I think I need a newer bike before I commit to Famous Reading Outdoors, Its definitely on my bucket list though!

I will look into bald eagle. I wonder if Michaux is on all public roads like Greenridge, Maybe there is a GPX file for it. Have fun out there and be safe next weekend!
