maybe hes just monotone for effect, or vocally different from most people. tbh i was probably being too judgemental there, but he definitely seems like he's got a more natural sounding voice in a register at least slightly higher than what he speaks in all the time. i dont fault him, but i still do think its at least slightly intentionally low

In case you guys don't know: in the final clip, it's a REAL hardcore rules wrestling video. When they get to the outside of the ring, New Jack (the black dude) starts actually trying to beat Gypsy Joe to death with those items. That part isn't scripted, isn't fake, neither are the weapons. There is a worse form of wrestling, deathmatches, associated with hardcore wrestling. If they had been participating in one of those (wherein axes and razors and such are actually allowed and encouraged), Gypsy Joe probably would have died here.
Story behind the New Jack and Gypsy Joe fight. Joe wouldn't sell any of the moves new Jack was trying to do to him. Sell a move means make it look real even though it isn't real. Then, joe hit jack in the face and it fucked his nose up. After that, jack unleashed hell lmao
