Awesome video! I also have both the FDE and gray colored full size Adamas and two of the mini Adamas. One of the mini's is the shot show exclusive from two years ago bought on sale from Knifecenter. As you mentioned, the Adamas are great knives. Was wondering if you ever tried handling a Microtech MSI. Thanks for sharing!

      Thank you for your comment.
      1. I need to look up the KC Exclusive. That is new information for me
      2. The only Microtech I have so far is a Socom Elite. I am deeply concerned about the lock failures of the MSI, Stitch, and Amphibian.

@@RenaissanceManEducation, I actually have 3 of the MSI's and so far no lock failures as some videos have shown, but I also don't spine whack any of my knives. I was a little hesitant at first in purchasing the MSI but once I got it in hand really liked the knife. 👍

Spyderco Yojimbo 🤔 maybe that the one the Artisan reminds you of.
That's a very high quality steel from Benchmade and it's good to hear they have a very respectful warranty policy, because so many companies other then Kershaw and Buck are iffie
Very good to hear about your experience with Spyderco and that knife that many enthusiasts of the community like a whole lot. ⚖️⚔️⚖️

Excellent video. The Adamas is an excellent cutter and really nicely made. The only thing better is…two of them =-)

Did you send in the Kershaw blur?

Adamas or zt 0350 for an everyday carry? No serrations in the blade.

ZT. Thinner blade stock, recurve gives good cutting leverage, flipper tab = fast and guaranteed deployment, g2 handle is more coarse, slightly smaller in the pocket.

I own both. ZT 0350 is in my opinion one of the best knives to exist. Its a 3.25 inch blade but it doesn't feel like it. Its a great cutter that stays sharp for a long time. At my last job I was using it to cut box flaps and cut cardboard in general. Hundreds of cuts a day, thousands throughout the week. The most noticeable thing, the Blade coating hasn't warn down even a little bit. Ive only owned the Adamas for 4-5 days now. But ive owned the Mini Adamas for a while. Everyone claims the Mini is better, but I disagree. The mini has a thicker tip so it makes cuttinf tasks very difficult. The full size Adamas has a more appropriate tip. Not thin, but not insanely thick.

@buzz622 I have an 8 year old Kershaw Blur with the coating still intact. Your ZT coating holding up does not surprise me. As a side note, I like Ken Onion designs.

Benchmade are over priced. I've gotten a brand new one with chips in the blade. I think they don't heat treat right.

Quality control has gotten better in my experience. My first Benchmade was the Bugout 535BK-4. Had the Aluminum scales with red hardware, M390 Blade. It came with blade play in both directions. My 940 came with Blade play in both directions. After using the 940 for 3 years now, its broken in great. No more play. Anyway, every Benchmade ive bought recently hasn't had any play. Especially my new adamas which im happy about because I intend to make it my permanent edc

@@buzz622 the Adamas looks solid. I stopped buying benchmade due to the quality issues. Paying big bucks for issues like that is crazy to me. Strictly carry spyderco now.

@rjlewis8346 Things happen. No matter how much you spend on something. Theres gonna be lemons. Applies to cars, appliances, phones, guns, etc... ive had my fair share of issues with Spyderco. The only one I enjoy using is the Manix 2. Haven't tried a Shaman yet. But not a big fan of the Compression lock to be honest..
