Wait, hold up... the portrait of Geralt in the brothel was mentioned by me several months ago. I really don't remember what video I commented on but still I'm fairly certain that I mentioned about it before Duda Marquess, correct me if I'm wrong (as in if Duda mentioned about it only recently I'll know it was after me and I'm not losing my mind).
I must have not paid attention or lost the note I made :( I'll pin this comment as a minor apology!
feelsbadman. it's just like when you make a funny joke and no one hears it and your friend who heard it repeats it and everyone laughs lol
I did the comment on the "5+ details you may missed about Orianna" video, it's like a month ago. I did a little research before make it, but it was superficially so I didn't see it.
In that comment I also wrote about the way men prostitute treats geralt in Toussaint and in Novigrad, but I've played the game with Portuguese dub so I don't know if the dub matches with the English one.

The year is 2077, yet there still are more details we missed in the cyberpunk 77

That table that regenerates food is actually a reference to a German fairytale called Tischchen deck dich, Goldesel und Knüppel aus dem Sack (where a table that can make its own food, a gold shitting donkey and a mace that attacks are the main subjects), in the cloud castle you can find that donkey as well

Corvo Bianco is one of the things I got wrong in my first playthrough. But I fully restored it in New game plus. I remember going back again and again and admiring the beautifull grandmaster sets and swords. It really did made me smile like I build something cool in my real house. Thanks for the awsome video man !

Lets start a petition to get CDPR to give xLetalis the demo copy, He has been single handedly churning out so much good content regarding The Witcher series that no one on YT ever has, especially not after 5 years after the game release.
whose with me?
Knowing CDPR, we can anticipate an Item named "xLetalis" in Witcher 4
Demo copy of what? Witcher 3? I think he already has it😂 or are you talking about Cyberpunk/Witcher 4?
Herbs shmerb what about Gwent eh gets me each time lol 😂
In the cemetery you can read the graves and find names of withcher creators slightly changed - Arkadius Borovik- Arkadiusz Borowik the screenwriter etc :)
yeah I've read them all I think, but didn't get many of the references
I can do some more polish investigations, so we get the « ultimate last details you missed in Toussaint « video
I still hope xLetalis will find a proof that Dettlaff can paint as beautifully as Marta Dettlaff (I mean, other than Syanna's face)
when i saw Uma lying on the bench it gave me shivers O.O
like wtf man, that was creepy
Seriously besides cyberpunk gimme one game that has more interesting & entertaining details than TW3! it's just incredible
MAYBE, just MAYBE, Red Dead 2. Im not critzing any of the games, they are equally AMAZING IMHO
@@danielprado5881 agree
@@danielprado5881 unfortunately....my laptop can't play red dead. Hopefully it can play cyberpunk. 2077
yeah i was coming to say RDR2..beat me to it. Alsas the actual story in RDR2 is on rails and is pretty much identical whether you're good or bad apart from a bit of video. So on that basis, TW3 wins hands down as you can change the outcomes, but for details RDR2 holds up very well.
devil jack I doubt it. Judging by the looks of the visuals and graphics, Cyberpunk looks better than RDR2. I would suggest getting a console if you don’t want to spend too much on a PC.
Mère lachaiselong- it’s means mother the long chair in French :). Reference to the biggest cemetery in Paris - Père Lachaise. (Father Lachaise).
It is a famous cemetery (pronounced: Pair Lah shayz) since some past celebrities (authors, artists, etc.) are buried there and you can find some amazing tombstones including a recumbent bronze statue of Victor Noir which has to be protected from women sexual desire...
The passage of the terrible administration is indeed a reference of Astérix: The 12 tasks of Astérix. It refers to the 12 tasks of Héraklès. Note that story was created directly for animation. Therefore, no comics is available except for a photo-story edition using pictures from the movie and texts on a different page.
Jim Morrison is buried in Père-Lachaise, and we can find his name (modified) on a grave in the game.
For the Big Game Hunter quest, I couldn't axii the peacocks, likely due to conflicts with the "Enhanced Edition Mod" which is my best guess. Ended up punching a peacock out of frustration. You still complete the quest (without the picture of course) but the guy gets really angry and Geralt has some funny dialogue about it as well.
Actually, the Enhanced Edition Mod, as nice as it is, has some real problems with how it handles any quests where NPC's have a life bar, namely they die in 1-2 hits. Saving Ves in Velen was one of the most stressful ordeals I had to face and was not fun. All of the knights in cages in Blood and Wine, however, died well before I could even get close. The most common solution from people on reddit is "get good", lol
hmm, could be the mod's fault, I've never had that issue
I mean u dont have to stop ,u can just keep making vids like this and were still enjoying them ,its fun knowing more things u havent discovered in one of our favorite games, trust me Ive spent every second watching your vids for my 4th playthrough of this game so I can experience it again with the almost same feeling of the 1st playthrough

Next week:video title(10 thing you miss in Toussaint's water)
Hah, that's not a bad idea :D
براح.
Omg I've seen that movie.
It's called " The twelve tasks of asterix" it's a classic. It's based on a comic and it's absolutely brilliant if you enjoy satires puns and funny references with regards to the history and culture of Rome and it's provinces.
Yea I saw it too and that quest reminded me of it
It's not actually based on an Asterix comic though, as far as I know. And yes, I've read them all, multiple times
“Things you may have missed in the witcher 2” next maybe?
I'll think about it ;]
Definately, even the Witcher 1 could do.I am currently playing it and I think it has potential for your series especially chapter II where you are in Vizima.
@@TheBlackJoseph you could watch the 4 hour long video about witcher 1 some guy made, which is part ONE of three (i guess part 2 and 3 are about witcher 2 and 3). IIRC it was done by Joseph Anderson, "Witcher critique" or something like that
@@TheBlackJoseph there, found it. He basically analyzes all the possible outcomes and choices czcams.com/video/NtrAx-rVgco/video.html
@@mortache Thanks,I'll check it out.
Also Est Est wine is a reference to an Italian wine called Est! Est!! Est!!! De Montefiascone, which is called this because, according to the legend, a German bishop sent an assistant to Rome ahead of his own trip, to find and mark the inns with the best wines for him. He was instructed to write "Est"("here") over the door or sign if it had good wine. The scout stayed in Montefiascone and loved the wine so much he wrote Est! Est!! Est!!! On the door.
I love how this DLC highlights the silliness of Geralt's addiction to Gwent in such a serious game.
Not sure if that has been mentioned yet but on the little hut at the lake in front of Regis’ cemetery there’s a note from the Iococo owner (you know, the silver basilisk) saying everyone should reduce their prices for Gerald as he has shown to be a true friend of nature.
Also, anti-vampire garlic can already be found before the vampire attack; it’s in the wine wars quest in the cellar with the archespore seedlings. It makes sense seeing as you can also find a note there talking about a hatchery near Tesham Mutna.
I'm from iran and i love this game 10x more now, thanks cdpr and xLetalis.
This was probably noticed by a lot of people but i'll say it; if you save syanna(she wears a ribbon when detlaff tries to kill her), and when you find about the fifth victim being duchess and talk about it with syanna choosing the right options she'll say something like "you really want that happy ending", not so subtle hint i think that you'll get the good ending
I missed a few things here. Regis leaving the skeleton is something I've never noticed before and I never saw that Batman reference! Ah, who needs Batman anyway. Geralt is the hero that this city needs. Looking forward to Velen's brown colour palette ;)
I much prefer the grim vibe of Velen over the shinny sunny land of toussaint. Idk I like both but I like the eerie dark and damp swampy setting and tone over the shinny knights.. imo
The table at the end is a reference to the fairy tail "The Wishing-Table, The Gold-Ass and the Cudgel in the Sack" by the Brother Grimm :)
I'm pretty sure CDPR has been secretly adding little details to Blood & Wine just to keep xLetalis entertained >_>
Andy Serkis' Gollum was also referenced through a letter I found somewhere in toussaint by someone named Smeagol Serkis and his precious were his golden spoons/cuttlery 😆
Thanks for you videos they've incredibly useful to me on my first playthrough. Xx
xLetalis: "Seriously!"
Ron Burgundy: "I don't believe you"
I am a simple man. I see xLetalis video, I click.
Great video edition, man! Thanks for all TW3 content.
The Vesemir at the end of the video almost made me cry.
:( Yeah I had to put him there...
I recognized the Asterix + Obelix scene right away! :D
And missed the table detail! Certainly a hint on the fairytale The Wishing-Table ("Tischlein deck dich" in German) by Brothers Grimm. I'm starting my 2nd playthrough and your videos will certainly help me discover some things now! :D thanks!
Even though Toussaint is my favourite region (I may have the tipsy land syndrome) I can't wait for the other regions
You truly are a legend. And I always like your videos.

That ending was so bitter sweet and excellently done. Great job! ;)
(as always)
:( Thank you
Just realized that the"Night of the Long Fangs" mission might be a reference to the Night of the long knives, a series of assassinations and murders carried out by then Chancellor Hitler in July 1 and 2 1934 to get rid of political opponents.
Pretty chilling that the massacre in the game had a real world counterpart, but again the monsters here are humans.
I mention that in the video, though not in detail
@@xLetalis i was in a hurry to mention it, didn't yet see the whole Video XD. Been on a European History marathon recently.
There are few true non-human monsters in the game. A ghul isn't really evil, is it?
Shiraz isnt really an easter egg for the city shiraz. Shiraz is a type of wine that was only named shiraz becuase good wine was coming out of the city Shiraz at the time. So it kind of is named after the city but only because the wine is actually named after the city.
love your videos keep it coming
Yes and no: Though the Night of the long Fangs is a word play of The night of the long Knives, but it’s not nessesarily related to the Nazi coup in which many SA officers had been murdered. There have been several events in world history, known as Night of the long knives. The Term generally means getting rid of (mostly political) opponents
One thing to note, I believe it's likely a coincidence regarding Shiraz, and more likely to be a reference to Shiraz as a particular common wine grape.
xLetalis I just finished my first play-through of Witcher 3 and BaW today - your videos made me re-experience the entire time I spent playing, thanks man I thoroughly enjoyed seeing how all of my decisions could have been improved by jumping off a high wall immediately after! @@etherealpetrichor9572 I guess he meant Smeagol aka Gollum
Zyad Hakmi It’s spelled Smigole Serkis in the game, as a nod/tribute.
Doesn't he have a recipe for some kind of weird soup, or am I thinking of another easter-egg elsewhere in the game..?

12:57 thats reminds me of the fable "the wishing table"
I love how you put soundtracks from other Witcher games into your videos
Oh that's some interesting info :) Thanks for sharing it
Kudos to your pronounciation of the Czech name (Šimon Kvasnička). It was flawless, once again kudos and hats off to you
Love these videos man
Last, huh? Good one :D
The Beauclair Palace origin story is interesting. I've never even noticed it may have been based on the Fisherman's Bastion despite going there with my class multiple times in school... But it makes sense. The central tower looks almost exactly like the bell tower of Matthias Church, which is in front of the Fisherman's Bastion.
Btw I think I can say now that I've seen Geralt die from fall damage more times in your videos than in my 650 hours of gameplay, despite the fact that I love parkouring on the roofs of Novigrad 😂
Oh it's you again ;] Nice, now I wish to go
Has anyone ever noticed the name
of the special “Ducal table” wine referenced during the main B&W questline is a clue about Syanna’s involvement in the plot? “Sangreal” is old french for “Royal blood.” 🤯
Sang = blood 🇨🇵
Real = royal 🇪🇸
This video was just superb! Loved itttt
thank you :)
Brienne of Tarth from game of throne reference Still waters fistfight, Arya stark reference a little girl running around asking if winter is coming and that her elder brother gave her a sword she named needle. So many Easter eggs
4 years later and he’s still discovering new details
From all the things I learned here, I found something else entirely quite interesting: I've never, ever seen the brigands at 10:58. For me, the Graverobbers down there at that spot always completely different, and bandits tend to look rather similar to each other, there's only so many faces to be picked for them. But those? Never seen those before.
hmm I don't know...
Love your videos!!
Hello Letalis. Thanks. That ending you made, as simple as it is, with Geralt slowly walking through those he loves, as you say goodbye to the Blood and Wine extension, with the Lady Of The Lake soundtrack, before climbing on Roach and leaving, was... Really touching actually ! Maybe not as much as the famous 10th anniversary video from CD Projekt, but... Nearly ^^ No really this was really nice. Love
There is an Item-Easteregg in Skellige after completing the "List of the King Quest". Crach rewards you with a crossbow called "Death from Above". At least if you translate the German name into Englisch. The Crossbow is intirely painted red. This might be a reference to the Great War german fighterpilot: "Manfred von Richthofen" aka "The Red Baron". He and his Fightersquad draw the line "Death from Above" on theit planes.
Triss looking mighty fine in that thumbnail, just sayin
Yennifer too.
I prever her base clothes over anything else. I Don't like her tatoos.

Hello xLetalis! I have just watched your videos of details missed in Toussaint, and I thank you for making so many videos dedicated to the witcher series!
I don't know if someone mentioned it in other videos (or maybe it is quite obvious?), but I didn't see in the Toussanit series, so well it might worth be mentioning.
When Geralt went to the first Inn (Cockatrice?) in Toussaint after the lenthy beginning, the Innkeeper told Geralt their crayfish chowder is out of stock because of the incident. Actually just on the table, there's a recipe of crayfish chowder. There also one more recipe somewhere behind the bar, but I forgot what is the exact recipe. There's some videos testing the crayfish chowder recipe and it looks quite decent actually.
Tomb Raider reference just outside Moreau's lab
Omg Uma.. terrifying

The Last Details You Probably Missed in Toussaint (Seriously!)

The cemetery is actually a (pretty funny, IMO) play-on-words. The one in Paris is called "Père Lachaise" which roughly translates to "Father Thechair" (as in a priest's name). It's a very well known name, a landmark. And "Mère Lachaiselongue" (in TW3) translates to "Mother Thelongchair". Of course, translated jokes have a tendency to fall flat, but as a French person seeing this in game I really laughed out loud.
I think these videos will never end xd
Good job c:
I wonder if u get arondight and start a new game plus will u keep it or will u still have the walk on water annimation?
Hmm I doubt the walk on water thing will carry on, it's not a different animation
All of the quests are available again in new game plus regardless of weapons, armor, potions, or decoctions. If you get Aerondight in a first playthrough (around level 38?), you can use the silver sword throughout new game plus, start the "There Can Only Be One" quest again, walk on water, and face off against the hermit (around level 88?).
fuck, i just got the Basil Fawlty reference, i'm so dumb
Père means father and Lachaise is a surname but also means the chair. Mère is mother, and Lachaise longue is those long chairs where you half sit half lie down
NEVER STOP. There will always be details to bring to light
In my actual playtrhough, I found an easter egg in Hearts of Stone: in the marriage mission, when you talk with any of the dwarves inside the barn they may say "You are the fuckin' Dincklage!".
I don't remember but did you say something about the inscriptions in Professor Shakeslock's house walls in your HoS video?
I don't think i've talked about the inscriptions on his walls, what do they say?
@@xLetalis I don't know how to read the letters used in the game. I just said that because I wanted to see if someone else has noted it.
The inscriptions are carved in the walls at the circle's borders.
Here, I fixed the title: Probably The Last Details You Missed in Toussaint (Probably!) | THE WITCHER 3
:D
I'm glad that the Asterix and Obelix reference was finally included. It's my favorite pop culture reference in the game since absolutely loved the cartoon as a kid :D
Possibly little-known detail in Velen: If you manage to miss Return to Crookbag Bog, then you get a unique cutscene with Ciri when going to kill the Crones. Ciri asks about the Baron and Geralt replies that he went to the swamp to look for Anna, but doesnt know if he ever made it - to which Ciri says 'true shame'. You can go to the orphanage at any time and nobody's there, everything is locked, but the fiend and the other monsters will appear and you've got to fight them.
