The song writing between Campbell and Nate is amazing. They work so well together writing the, " make you feel good " music . Campbell has that special gift and talent of putting the most beautiful words to the songs. Put it all together with Jake's awesome bass lines and the "Joey beat" , and you have perfection.

Update: Corona never ended but STILL SAW THEM PERFORM LIVE, they put on such an incredible and breathtaking performance, and the whole vibe during the show was fuckin phenomenal!!! Also got to meet Campbell and Joey (safely of course), they were the best dudes ever!! Btw I saw them at The Roxy Theater!

I can't express how much Vacations has had an effect on me, if I could I would pay for them to play at my wedding.
This would've hit the spot in 2020 but I didn't cross this band's path until late 2023 😊 Glad I got here though.

Can’t wait for summer listening to my favorite Aussie band
Vacations is one of my favorite bands. In a day and age where music is full of lust, violence, general explicit content, and is just lackluster, they are a gem! I love their overall chill vibe. I relate to like almost every song, especially their Vibes EP and Changes Album.
I was thankfully able to see them live in concert November 2023 in LA! I remember I wanted to get there early to make sure I was in the first row, but I had work! I rushed to get ready and my friend picked me up and we were still able to get there a few hours early. As we were let in and approached the pit, the people right before us took the last spot in the first row! So we ended up being the first ones to make the 2nd row. I was a little disappointed, but I just tried to enjoy it.
I remember praying beforehand and even during the concert that something would happen so I could get in first row! The opening act went, the 1st band Dinosaurs went (which personally my friend and I weren't too fond of), and did I remember thinking to myself what if these girls right here who are front and center only came to see Dinosaurs, and they leave before Vacations starts? They were really jamming out and enjoying Dinosaurs so it was a possibility, but I wasn't sure.
BUT THEN MY PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED, AND TURNS OUT I WAS RIGHT! Before Vacations came on they were like"alright guys we're done" and started walking away towards me (I was 2nd row almost center but a little to the left). I remember grabbing my friends arm, and pulling him as I IMMEDIATELY stepped into the spot they were in, before anyone else even got the chance to notice it was open! AND I LOOKED UP AND I REALLY WAS FRONT AND CENTER, LIKE LEGIT FRONT And CENTER! It was like a little miracle to me.
I'm Christian and I generally don't listen to much secular music, which is why going to this concert was so special to me because I genuinely like them and like I said they're not very... explicit, ykwim? Definition of Chill Vibes and good music. Well I'm writing this to say God does listen to His children's prayers, and even the "little things" matter to him too. He really loves us and loves to give. He's such a giver. Anyways, I will forever remember this.

Just got home from seeing these guys at Empire in Austin Texas. Have to say I have never heard of them before. My brother asked me if I'd go with him to seem. I was pleasantly surprised at how great they are! Love them! Hope they come back to Austin Texas. 😘😘💓💓💓💓💓
