Great video Gentlemen, I will definitely be giving this a try, I love the cooking part of camping, it can lift the mural like no other...
Love it! Might actually make this at home as well..
Worthy for home cooking too!
This looks amazing and I am excited to try it on my next trip. I may even opt to make my own jerky for it.
Do it! Heck yeah!
The food looks great 😃
Oh it's soo good
Love chef corso!
love it, good video
Thank you!
Citrus lime and cilantro for me thank you.
All day err day.
Trying to feed him a noodle is crazy lol..... i woulda went for it tho
What is this santoku style knife!!!??
Woah, that cooked so fast! Texture wise, any recommendations on Jerky brand?
Thinner cuts are better the few times ive tried this they rehydrate a little faster
🙂
Please consider adding information about shiitake mushroom rash. I discovered this in my own efforts to make homemade gluten-free dehydrated meals. I'm not sure if it was lack of time/temperature, or the small sliver of dehydrated shiitake I ate off of my cutting board. ...it definitely was unpleasant, assuming that is what it was. Please consider reading about the rash and adding cautionary words on this to your video.
Thanks for the cautionary advice!
Another option for soy is a packet from Chinese restaurants.
Asian grocery joints are always cheaper and fresher. Veggies ..ect & seafood!
They're an amazing option!
Ask any grunt what is in their pogey bait bag.
Consider me intrigued...
@@BackpackingTV ramen
@@BackpackingTV pogey bait refers to the food soldiers bring to the field to make MRE’s more palatable
I’ll be in yer next 3some out there. 🙌
Seems like a pain to pack all of this stuff along.
It's an extra step. But it's not necessarily heavier or bulkier. And the results are amazing!
It looks like it on the video, but its actually not . They show you everything you can take but it packs down to your Ramen pack and a zip lock bag of veggies that you want. Inside the bag you can thro in some small packets of sauce from a restaurant. If you already have jerky just throw that in the pot while its boiling. Should be fun to make and everyone else will be wishing they had some lol
You made prison food
At least it's an outdoor prison though
Wanna kiss
um, no.
@@BackpackingTV i really do not appreciate the attitude 😕
