I love Scottish and Irish men. I do not know why I did not hear about this film. Thanks for the interview . Ewan McGregor is my favorite actor and I will watch any movie he is in.
It is nice that he only does stories that he finds interesting to play and not because they will make him famous or bring loads of money his way.
I would be very interested in hearing other interpretations of the last shot in Garcia’s Last Days in the Desert. I have my own idea but whatever Garcia’s meaning, I feel that it is going to be missed by most viewers.

it looks a looooot like an obi wan prequel movie. and my only question is whether that is the main reason they hired Ewan for the role?
How can you separate the Devine side of Jesus from the Man Jesus ? There is no separation to be made, He was the Son of God, God in the flesh; so the exploration of this was a silly undertaking
I think understanding his humanity helps us understand his divinity. It certainly does for me. Understanding how he was tempted and tried, felt fear pain and hunger and suffered seeing others suffer helps me understand how he rose above these things. He rose above them despite and because of these things, not because he was perfect (as in, untouched, unaffected by the things that make us stumble). Hope that makes sense my sister

Esh desires like us. That's why he was perfect. This movie portrayal of him was garbage.
This movie was an insult to jesus christ. Jesus was not a quiet person like how they portrayed him in most of the film. Inthe bible he prayed to his father every chance he got while in the desert and this movie didnt show any of that really. Then to top it off this movie shows a scene where jesus kisses a man on the lips right before the man dies. Thats very disrespectful cause the bible clearly states how god is against homosexuality.
A nonbeliever may like this movie but a true man of god knows when hollywood is using antichrist content to promote evil in movies.
