That’s correct unfortunately thigns in Finland have changed dramatically in past 7 years and I witnessed it. I moved in 2016. Studying was free, me and almost all my classmates on that time managed to get a job. And graduated without paying a single fee but now tuition got much higher and many have dropped studies because of this and got problems with immigration services and finding a job became more challenging. The good thing that happened is that student residence permit is now A but they started restricting permanent residency requirements and citizenship as well

Please what about studying nursing apart from the language is it easy getting a job as a student heard that after a year one can be a student nurse because you mentioned only IT jobs.

I also believe that residents inside the country should get the job first and then work permit should be given to others if they don't find eligible workers. But there is bureaucracy in the system.

It's totally true, brother. I moved to Finland last August and still didn't find a job. I am still surviving because of my IT skills. I have a few permanent clients and freelancing. I see a lot of friends are totally disappointed now. They couldn't pay their tuition fees.

I live in Finland and I came to study three years ago and I confirm all what u said is true, starting from 2024 u can come to Finland only if u re rich, but if u plan to come and earn money from Finland, pay tuition fees and your living cost, i just feel sorry for u, pls don't put yourself in this situation, the new coming rules just want to say clearly " we dont want foreigners in Finland"...

It is true, it is tough for many students nowadays. Many are here now, 4 months and aren't working. Though some students still get job.
Best advice is that you bring 4-6 months of your living cost and make sure to pay your complete first year tuition before coming. If you do these, you will be okay.
