They are MDP police and not wearing any insignia that is offensive, the low-vis Union Flag is generally accepted on a range of working dress uniforms (police, HM Forces, etc). The man is a buffoon.
Unlike the US flag, The Union Flag has no official status in the United Kingdom, and there are no national regulations concerning its use or prohibitions against flag desecration.
Sir Mark Rowley, chief police of the mps has publicly said that met officers should not wear TBL/gang badge as it is not uniform,it may have started as a charity but anyone can buy the badge on E.Bay etc and money is not going to any charity, it’s just a sign of how little police listen to their bosses or public

The Black/grey Thin Blue Line badge is an adaptation of the Union Jack. If the full colour Union Jack had a blue or rainbow line across it, then yes, that is defacing a flag, but the item in question, in its monochrome format is not a true representation of the UJ, and so is not defaced by the blue line.

Who made this person an auditor? What are his credentials? Who is he working for? Why does he hide behind a mask while forcing his camera into the faces of the mod police? So many questions. Just one more....do i care?...
Auditors do have their place, however they have to know the law, sometimes better than the police do. In America that is not hard as police there have no clue. In other countries Police are actually Prosecutors in magistrates courts. US Auditors have effected great change and do hold police accountable. In the UK and other places it isn't as widely needed. Always record the police. I wish I know which UK Auditor this was because I would be pretty sure that he isn't an AUDITOR per se otherwise he could tell the difference between PCs, PSOs and MOD Police. And the fact that he can be told to leave the area as it is not a "PUBLIC PLACE" but a Military Establishment, subject to it's laws.
They are just people who need to get a real job, looking for confrontation just to get their u tube videos views up. Sadly some people side with them, holding them up as some sort of hero!
It just goes to show how weak the British police are. They should have moved the agitator on or detained him as soon as he started to interfere with their duties.
