Hello please I went to register for passport but my nin phone number is different from the new phone number I used and the agent said it wonât affect, same with my local government on the nin is different from the one I added for my passport, and I was told it wonât affect is that true?

It can be done remotely for people living in diaspora if they can pay the price. I've done few jobs for those in diaspora before and those that are not within my state of settlement

You can add the missing name to the nin back by doing nin modification on it and as you live in diaspora, it can be done remotely for you

Actually, if you pay using the remita, I think the receipt will be sent to your email too, I can't really remember but it's the receipt you'll tender at nimc office for you to do the modification

You'll have to wait for 3 weeks (1months) then you'll re-print your nin slip and the name changes will reflect on the new slip.

If you want to change your name and date of birth at the same time, your total payment is going to be 15,500NGN and this payment is only for official nimc rate (government nimc center located at your state) buh if you're doing it any authorized license nin registration center, the price might varies from the real official price.

Depending on the clearing and nin network itself. It takes days for some people and months for some and even years for some and it won't even change at all in some situations.
Hmmmmmm...this is serious, how can a whole Nigerian Government ask their citizens to do what they themselves are unable to carry out, this is no longer funny at all, it's either the server is under update or there is no network at all, nawaooo
I've got few jobs I've sent to them via thier appropriate channel, they told me it has been sent to the right team, till now, those jobs are yet to be modified. This is why many will prefer to work with agent rather than working with nimc official themselves cause of this deep corruption that's rooted in the system

Since It's bvn generated nin, you'll have to validate it first, then you will go to nimc center with your court stamped affidavit to get the surname changed to the one documented in your affidavit

Yes. The reason is that, currently there's no network for any type of modifications even at nimc offices but if you can wait till March, by that time, I'm sure the issues would have been resolved. So you can then start your profile modification

It's going to take just 2 weeks for it to reflect on your nimc profile. Be using the nimc mobile app to check it
