i learned about "kureru" from Haikyuu when Oikawa told Iwaizumi "Sono unko yarou-tte no yamete kureru?!" i guess it has the same context as the simple form "kureru" you just taught to us in this video, as in my understanding "-te form verb" + "kureru" would mean "TO DO something FOR ME". while "kureru" alone would mean "somebody giving me/us something". Japanese grammar is really interesting!

Thanks for this. Your positive attitude is always inspiring. I’m looking forward to two more related videos - 1. Using those words in combination with ...te form of verbs. Which verbs are most typically combined? And 2. What is the distinction of using “morau”. I feel it is not really that similar to “receive” in English. I’ve heard that “morau” is sometimes implying convincing someone to do something for you or shows more appreciation of the act than “kureru”
Please create more on this as it remains challenging for me in the ...te combinations.

I just started to learn Japanese about two weeks ago and I am falling in love with the language! and finding your YT channel makes me really want to learn fast so that I can understand everything you say, so thank you for the motivation you’ve given me while I watch your videos! ありがとうございます!

Oh I see😆 try Hello Talk. You can call Japanese people via audio call. And share posts and people can correct you etc. It made me so motivated to learn more!

Where did you learn English? Of all the different learning Japanese channels I subscribe to, I believe yours is one of the best. I really appreciate the close caption. Your natural speed is a bit too fast for me so I have to pause and read every few seconds. Keep up the great work.
