We just booked Allure today for Dec 2025 and had no idea this was happening until I started looking for ship tours. I'm so excited about these upgrades!
Allure is my favorite ship, but I miss Playmakers and El Loco Fresh when I sail with her. So this makes Allure the bestest ever!!! I sincerely hope they do NOT remove Samba Grill; I love the brazilian steakhouse so much, and make reservations every time we sail!
According to Royal Caribbean's press release the Samba Grill is staying. 😀
@@jerrykarn1801 Its my favorite specialty restaurant. Done Allure twice and doing it again in January. I am also doing Utopia in December so I will still be able to see a lot of the new updates but get one last retro sailing on her.
@@georgeazan8988 It's my favorite specialty restaurant as well. We've sailed Allure once and will be again in October & December. We're looking to book her again in 2026.
Thank goodness the cabins will be left alone. Its hard to find ways to charge my Ipod shuffle!
Mine didn't charge when I went on it last time. Maybe it was just the one in my room. I made a video about it!
LMAO they better update those old plugs. No USB and no outlet near the bed but I will say still to this day it's a beautiful ship even for it's age.
Went on the Allure for my first cruise, which was my honeymoon. At that time she was the largest cruise ship in the world and we had a great time. Looking forward to selling on her again sometime.
My Fiance and I got engaged on Allure in 2023. I cannot wait to come back and see everything new!
I really hope they keep Samba Grill on the Allure. That is an all time favorite of mine

It has been along time coming. I am so pleased!! Allure was our very first cruise back in 2012. You never really get over your first love and we can't wait to experience the new updates.
Allure was my first ship, she is my favorite period

They do... slightly. Oasis got more outlets fitted and newer key card entry.
I wish they would replace the cloth sofas and chairs. Those are usually wrecked.

Good news. This was our first cruise ever so the Allure is special to us. Excited to maybe be back on it in 2026.
Loved Allure of the Seas in 2023. Took her to Aruba and Bonaire. Glad to see she's getting updated.
The allure will always hold a special place in my heart. Sailed on her October 2023 for my honeymoon.
Just sailed Allure 2 months ago, we loved it! But I’m definitely glad it’s getting some new venues.

We have sailed 3 cruises on Allure and glad to see the refurb is actually happening! We will miss Sabor as we thought it was an excellent place to get a great meal!

Just got off Allure, and we will be back on for the transatlantic back to the States after the upgrades. Looking forward to the changes; hopefully, where they might not upgrade the rooms, they will give her a new coat of paint on the balconies; she needs it.

The Apollo 18 escape room sounds pretty cool! I wouldn't ordinarily do an escape room on a cruise but that could be an exception. This upgrade was much needed- we were on Allure earlier this year and while it was a great cruise the overall experience was definitely straight out of 2009.
Love it and I seen you a couple of months ago in the casino on the allure . You were sitting on a couch and I told my wife hey there Matt from Royal Caribbean CZcams. 👍🏽
Why wouldn’t they upgrade the rooms? I’m in one in deck 12 right now…. Geez it needs work!
The sink is rusted, the stopper keep getting locked, the canister inside the shower is broken…
The couch is dirty old looking …

I agree. I just sailed on her last month and noticed the same. I put it in the comments on my survey. I don’t understand why they update all the common areas with all the new shiny things but leave the old rag-tag rooms. This would NOT fly on a land based hotel. When they remodel, they also remodel the rooms. Could you imagine paying a lot of money for a JW Marriott room, only to walk in to what looks like a janky old Motel 6?? I kind of feel like Royal is pulling this old “bait and switch” on us when they upgrade these ships. BTW….we would not even sit on or put ANYTHING on that couch in our room. It looked like it had 10+years of bodily fluids on it, and we were a little afraid of what VD we might pick up if we did!
Surely, we can’t be the only ones who feel this way, right??!
No you are not the only one that feels this way!!! They should replace furniture and carpet every 7 years at least!!! The wear and tear is expected and should be addressed!!!
I am excited to know that the Pesky Parrot & the Mason Jar will be additions to Allure. Sailing on her again on the Transatlantic October 2025 to Fort Lauderdale.

I'm hoping they will add the Izumi in the Park, loved it on Icon. I also hope they keep the Samba Grill we really enjoyed it when we were on board.
I’m curious if they will keep the Crown Lounge (Diamond Lounge) on deck 11. This is the best Crown Lounge in the fleet in my opinion. All the other Oasis class ships have this in deck 4 which I’m not a fan of. But I do understand that the deck 11 spot is a premium location.
im so happy, im going on this boat in october 2024 and i was really sad when i found this boat doesnt have any water slides or the dry slide. but i am very happy it will be getting updates 😊
Spent 3 trips on Allure. Once I went on Harmony. It was evident Allure needed an update. Can’t wait!
We've sailed on Allure twice in 2022 and 2023. I look forward to the upgrades; however I hope they keep the umbrellas on the pool deck! Those are a boon when you're in the Caribbean. We recently sailed on Harmony - NO umbrellas at all.
Hopefully the Jamaican house band is still remaining. They are amazing!

@@johnnytest9355 , it isn’t unusual for them to add on new features from other ships that come out either though. If they can make money on it, they will add it.
The Mason Jar on Wonder ofs was a good place for drinks and music. However, do not get a room just below them, as they have music until 1am, then move the chairs around to clean up after a few nights during the week.
I would hope they update a few things in the rooms. The dual iPod docking stations are quite a bit out of date

I hope they change to the Solarium Bistro and make it included like on Harmony and Oasis! The Samba Grill experience was not worth it all!!!
We'll be on Allure in August for 7 nights out of Rome. I'm cracking up that they are adding a "southern" "Nashville Hot Chicken" serving restaurant. We are traveling from Nashville to Europe for Mediteranian food, and instead we'll get more country music and southern fried food. LOL! Just shows how popular Nashville has become around the world! Looking forward to getting to cruise on a newly refurbished ship!
I was hoping they were going to update the cabins as several recent posts said the furnishings were looking really tired. But I definitely don't go on a cruise to sit in my room.
Hope they change it back to a 7 night cruise. Too many 3&4 night cruises now! I believe it’s a way to look like the prices are lesser.
FINALLY! We were supposed to be on the Allure WB TA in 2020 that was canceled due to Covid, so we are extremely excited to be on the WB TA in 2025. We weren't able to do Mason Jar for dinner on the Wonder WB TA in 2022, so I'm hoping to be able to check it out this time on Allure. Thanks for the great overview, Matt!
I’m going on allure in June for a Mediterranean cruise so I’m super excited to see the refurb especially coming from Wonder this past June.
Really wish they would do SOME updates in the cabins (like removing the docking station). The other changes are terrific though.
New mattresses would be nice. They were getting a bit rough last time we sailed.

I hope they leave the Jacuzzis on the balconies of the two bedroom grand suites on deck 12. But I have a feeling that they’re going to take those out.
I'm just glad I got to sail on the Allure of the Seas twice this year w/o the amplifications. Why? Because I wanted to see what the first Oasis class ships offered when they first came out. Looks like some exciting changes coming to the ship!
Makes realy some look at around Nov or December 2025 . Why not the rooms ? U think do bed upgrades and outlets and stuff.

The lack of USB or Additional plugs in the stateroom is a drawback of the Allure. Really hope they can upgrade that

I literally just got off this ship. It needs a revamp. The elevators often skip your floor or don’t register your floor selection. Sports bar is a must. They should fix how hot the top few indoor decks are. There are so many doors going outside and into the Central Park area that the boat higher than deck 9 is very humid and uncomfortable
they need to update their daily activities with more fun stuff to do
Love the renovations!! Wish we could have something else in Galveston though.
I hope they fix the rising tide bar. On our cruise in April the emergency stop would get stuck. Which led to us being stuck between floors for over ninety minutes. We tried another time and the bar wouldn't move from the loading area.
This sounds great but I do wish they would change the configuration of the closets on Allure. Very difficult for two people to access the closets/shelves at the same time. Would prefer a closet on either side of the bed.
Although they are in the same location, Oasis has the Ultimate Panoramic Suite and Utopia has the Solarium Suite. They are similar but there are quite a bit of differences in the two rooms. I would assume Allure will follow what Oasis did and build the Ultimate Panoramic Suites.
This makes me sad. I was jazzed to go on in nov. But now I know how much we are missing out on because its pre renovation. Blahhh 😢

Matt, I believe the ultimate panoramic suites are located ABOVE the bridge. At least that's where they're located on Oasis.

@@shariherrington7035 we are looking forward to it. We had a previous Allure 2022 transatlantic that was canceled, and they moved the entire group to the Wonder transatlantic, which we adored.
I'd update the elevator functionality and enclose the Solarium to bring both up to date with Utopia OTS!

I too think it a shame that they are adding the ultimate abyss. Allure will be missing its unique feature with this addition.
I get that they want to bring more consistency to what is offered on Oasis class, but I am a little disappointed as there is nothing we haven’t seen before.

El loco on allure was an overlay of wipeout cafe. Perhaps they’re refactoring the space

El loco on theree now as just a menu update for Wipeout cafe. I believe they'll re-do the space to make it look like other el loco fresh in the fleet
