Love this video, thank you! My son will be 7 soon but is a late bday so will be in first grade. I am having a hard time deciding between grade 1 and 2 so this video definitely helps. He is a very good reader and started at age 3 so now he can read 3rd-4th grade stuff but we haven't done a lot of spelling yet!

I loved this! Abeka really is a solid curriculum. I think the only reason it's not more popular now with independent homeschoolers is because of the price tag. We do Master Books currently which is a much more affordable option but the parent does have to do a little more spelling practice on their own which not everybody loves. However, the price is right so I don't mind at all.

I’m still looking for a spelling curriculum!!! We love our letter tiles!!! I don’t care how long it takes to master as long as there’s progress!!! 30 weeks is enough!!! Spelling rules need to be gone back over as needed!!! TGTB teaches it in level 5 and I love it as I know my kids have a better chance of learning them!!! We only do that part of TGTB spelling tho as TGTB spelling doesn’t work for us!!!

Would you pair this with All About Spelling 1? We love AAR and are about to move to AAR2 with AAS1. This looks like such a fun supplement though!
