I love a Trans Am! There is a beauty in older cars that the cars of today just don't have, and you got it to run, i hope you plan on doing a complete restore on it! 🤗
First car was an 81 that was mechanically sound but rotted to shit. Found an 80 with a solid body but needed an engine. Had to turn that 81 into a parts car and it broke my heart.
Hi Mathew, What are you going to do with the blue 77-8? TA with blue and white int? I have a 76 and 80 TA. Both are running and driving just need paint and 76 also needs int work. I live between Charlotte and Hickory N.C. It would be nice to know you and I would be interested in buying some parts. How is the dash on the 79parts car? I could use one for the 76. Could also use parts from the blue and white non ac car. You probably want to fix that one up. Can I email you? Maybe I can help you out too
One of the most beautiful Trans Am models.👍
70n79 the best
Love me a Trans Am in any condition, I say save ‘em all!

I have a Pontiac firebird trans am from 1976 with a 455 7.5L engine and 4-speed manuell gearbox, sweet car to drive....🚔
Just found your channel so i subscribed. The wife and i have 2 79 trans ams love these cars. Have a great weekend, brother.
Thank you, I love them too they are great cars!
@Matt_Barbee I agree old-school looks with a new car ride.
Modern amenities are a plus in my book! I have a 78 ta I’m restoring that I’ll be making some videos of soon!
@Matt_Barbee that's awesome. I am looking forward to watching.
Pretty cool it wanted to run. My Favorite Oldsmobile motor , the 403
Looks good bro-in law🤗
“Ice cube juice”. Lol. Guys like you owe everything to Derek at VGG.
Derek at VVG is an overrated hack. And there were many people who came way before that hack even thought about being on youtube.
Sounds pretty damn good too!!!
parts car? idk man, thats a 2000s thing. these are getting kinda hard to find now.
Looks good anyhow 😁
I had the same car but new. I hated it you had to crawl in and roll out. Mine had the 6.6 with a 4 speed
They definitely aren’t easy to get in and out of but they are beautiful!
403 biggest engine that year. And last 2 years before that. Same hp as the standard 400 and 100lbs lighter. Good running engine too

@@Chris-qv5mc that’s was tough I’m sure! At least you still had parts of it.
Since you didn’t show what underneath looks like, the way I see it, this car may be too nice to part out
The car is pretty rough. Fenders, doors, hood, quaters are all rotten. Also no title
I will do a walk around this week.
Onya mate 👍🏾🦘🤎
Wow
I miss all my 79's. Will you sell it instead of parting it out?,
Yes I would sell it but it doesn’t have a title.
@@Matt_Barbeename a price or video when you're ready sir. I subscribed. I'll keep a lookout

Hey ✋🏼 I am looking to sell the 78 Martinique blue car. It was originally a W72 400 4 speed car. My email is mattbarbee93@gmail.com
You going to post more?
Yes more to come very soon!
Save old Blue it was my first car
Bought in Amarillo back in maybe 92
Have you ever watched any other first start in 20 years videos ? You could have done so much to make it easier on that engine.
Olds
That is not a parts car you have it's a rat rod waiting to be driven like it's stilen👹
I hope you didn't pay more in five hundred dollars
Nice work, you do up Trans Ams then? Looks like you have a few.
Thank you, it’s just a hobby of mine. Somehow I ended up with 5 TAs lol
@@Matt_Barbee Good hobby to have, who doesn't love a TA?
@@Sidewinder1999 that’s a good question!
why build 2 why not 3
Vice Grip rip off.
Thank you, I love Vice Grip Garage! I’ll make sure to try and drive the car hundreds of miles home next time.
