I lived here in 1970-1971, and have visited there many times since then because it holds a special place in my heart. The areas around this part of Cottonwood have really grown and changed, but this section of town has stayed the same for the most part.
Cottonwood is a great town that gets over looked by many travelers. We have family that have lived there for many years. Great video

You did an excellent job visiting some of wonderful things to see in Cottonwood, you only scratched the surface. We live in Cornville next door and are amazed at all the nearby hiking, fishing and FREE camping places you can enjoy the warm winter weather. Sedona is a real hot spot you shouldn't miss.

I’ve enjoyed your videos, and excited to see you’re loving my state of Az! I’ve lived here since 1970, and never tire of all the amazing places our state has to offer! Now, if I could talk hubby into retiring (he’s 73 and still works), I’d love for us to do RV living full time! Taking care of an RV seems to be a lot of work though. We are caring for my 86 yr old bedridden father right now. But...in time maybe. Enjoy YOUR journeys!

While visiting my doctors office the other day, I saw a wooden sign on the desk that said "be kind", and of course I immediately thought of you guys.
Dead horse ranch state park has three ponds that are open to public. Kayaks are welcome . I enjoyed Dead Horse and cottonwood that I've reserved a week next year. Do Lost Dutchman and Dead Horse on the same trip . Also visit Colt grill cottonwood for great food (brisket) drinks

We were just in Cottonwood last week. We could not get to the canyons and ruins as we had planned due to the crowds, so we spent one afternoon in Cottonwood. A very good town to take a stroll. Sorry, did not see any UFOs.

my sister and her husband are full timers and have spent every other 2 weeks at the same place ur at in cottonwood. since the pandemic hit they came back from washington state and have been going back and forth from cottonwood and mesa with a couple trips to sierra vista to visit my mom and me. this is where we grew up. i think they are getting antsy to travel more tho

My In-laws lived in Cottonwood, hint DO NOT DRIVE A 40 FOOT COACH WITH TOAD through Jerome or Sedona! Used 89A as a shortcut...has a 25 foot restriction, but I didn't see it until too late...Thankfully it was in the middle of the night and I could see oncoming vehicles and wait so that I could use their lanes. This was before internet and GPS...even my Jake Brakes were useless because RPM's were too low. The area is AMAZING, Oak Creek Canyon is so beautiful...it's an oasis!

Dead Horse State Park is a wonderful place ro stay. Lot's to see and do. Jerome, Sedona.,Cottonwood, Clarkdale and Camp Verde. All have really interesting things to see.

What would you recommend to do/see in Cottonwood?
@@MissPlumJ there are many many trails and parks in the area to see or walk I don't mean to be hard on you I am just tired of watching videos of people who travel and only seem to visit the high dollar tourist spots. Just get out and travel freely and you would be surprised what you will find

Yeah there is a trail just off Mingus pust north of 89a that is very scenic it does not look like much from the road but once you start the hike about a half a mile I think it gets into to hills following an old river bed and gets very beautiful and if you want to explore and get off trail I have seen many foot prints that tells me many people also explore the river bed that is very beautiful to hike with a few spot that are waterfalls when the rain is plentiful and there are many places just like it you just need to be willing to explore. I have lived in the area now for about 3years and am absolutely in love with it. Went I first moved here I thought oh boy another desert but it actually has a lot of beauty here and that not counting the short drive up to sedona

You sell you home and spend it on RV touring, where do you see yourself in 10 years time?
RV touring is constantly costing you money, it shows in many videos where RVers are discussing their financial situation.
Unless you have investment properties or an inheritance coming RVing can push you into poverty over time.
