As an industrial designer with 10 years experience- this is exactly what I've been hoping for. Swappable batteries (now I can travel with my wheel) - waterproof rating, smart charge balancing, and a modern suspension design make this the wheel that takes EUCs mainstream. This is what quality looks like, and will absolutely be my next wheel.
Yea, I'm wondering if I can put the batteries in a carry on bag like a laptop battery on a commercial flight and load the rest of the wheel in a checked bag and fly with it.

Phone manufacturers don't even give us the luxary of removable batteries. This is a dream come true! And to top it off cell balancing too?? Just amazing! I've never been this hyped!
Looks pretty great except... Where is the seat? The seat should be part of the EUC design (not an afterthought)
We're already on it for the seat and of course it has the trolley handle. 💪
@@INMOTIONSCV I hope to see a video of the seat sometime soon. Since learning to ride seated, it has become a must when doing long rides. We have been doing different Caminos de Santiago here in Spain, and it is awesome to be able to sit and have a rest while on the road, and then to go hard when getting to the off-road parts of the trip.
Damn looks like the best 16inch offroad wheel so far and its cool that the battery is easily removable.

Oh my god, an actually perfect euc, well, almost perfect, 39kg is a bit on the higher side, but ipx6, proper headlight, progressive monoshock and swappable batteries is just... WOW

Agreed, but with the removable battery design it would allow putting a smaller/lighter pack on for nimbleness on the trails and a bigger pack for long haul days. The swappable batteries design is the biggest game changer in a long time.
@@Ambrovious haven't actually thought about that, lol. A smaller "day to day" pack and a bigger one for ride days, sounds like a plan.
A very rough estimation is 1000wh ~4kg
It mentioned the batteries could be used independently, so could we just use one battery to lower the weight? Or maybe 2 to keep it balanced on each side of the wheel.

HOLY CRAPPPPPPP! This is an amazing wheel. the fact they give the option to change out the suspension system and promote DIY stuff to be done to it, that speaks volumes. With how good they built their wheel, I was expecting a bit of arrogance from Inmotion with them preventing any DIY projects and customization. Awesome company. Awesome wheel and not a bad price tag either. I think I will be purchasing in the near future.
For anyone who cares, I will be posting a live reaction to this launch video later on. I'm a growing channel and I would appreciate any love that may come my way and show love back. Im also a new EUC rider and so far have been enjoying it although I'm still learning. I currently ride a Kingsong 16X.
The most appreciation deserves that inmotion is one of so few companies which takes all the community remarks very seriously, address them and go even beyond what is asked for to give user the max experience

I love the professionalism of the presentation. The design of this wheels looks very well thought out. Really hoping the swappable batteries and excellent waterproofing become a standard. Definitely pushing EUCs in a great direction. Cant wait to see some rider reviews of this wheel and some notes on how the suspension and torque feels.

No, we need 24" wheel. The ultimate street wheels are one that need to run over American pedestrian curves. I am not talking about slow down and do a bunny hop as we do now. Most of those depestrian curves are 4" in height. A sur ron can roll from street onto side walk over the curves, which give the ultimate dexterity and increase users safety.

Way to go InMotion! That IPX6 rating alone is enough to guarantee that I will buy one. For those of us that use EUC's as our primary vehicle, a high IPX rating, and good range is a must! The easy maintenance is also a HUGE selling point. It's such a pain to change a battery or tire in other EUC's. It's also priced right. I would never buy a $4k EUC, but a good high quality one like this I would definitely pay the $3k asking price. It looks like you did everything right on this one. Great job!

wow....just wow...for what it promises, the price is good. I think that this can be our sweet spot. Not too fast but fast enough, especially for offroad. Not for a very long range, but to be honest, noone will ride it without a stop for 100km, and the upside of the shorter distance is that it has a managable weight. Don't forget, sometimes you have to pick it up and move by hand, lets say put it in the trunk. Warerproof, suspension, and designed for heavier riders...love it.

And I bet the official Inmotion charger system will also be top notch, compared to the competition using crappy generic chargers that burn out their fans, overheat and blow up.
The battery swap is a game changer! IPX6! This is going to be sooooooooooo much easier to change a tire on. And the range WOW... eWheels take my money! (My v8F, v10F and V11 may have a new closet buddy 😅)

Easily swappable batteries is such a thing that should be possible in all wheels as well as easy form of changing the tire. But you Inmotion are not the first ones to do that, be honest, or do you don't know Kingsong 14b?
I don't plan on riding off-road, but I'm 120kg heavy, and that 140kg load makes me a guaranteed customer.

After the Airwheel X3 I got the Inmotion V8f as my first serious wheel. It felt like a supercar on rails, so smooth, so precise.
The V14 seems like a great new wheel from Inmotion. Awesome to see so many developments into making euc's less dangerous. Bringing the quality to motorcycle grade is good. Hopefully one day it will be aviation grade safety. PS don't add aviation grade pricetags;)

Do it. You won't. You're _too_ scared.
But in all seriousness there's practically not. It's the single most efficient method of urban traversal. I can be anywhere, from anywhere in the Chicago city center in 15 minutes or less.
Fast enough to ride on roads, nimble enough to take bike paths, and low profile enough to ride anywhere else you could otherwise walk. You can go just about anywhere, and do just about anything.
The only thing _remotely_ comparable to a downside is the initial cost, learning curve, and the risk for injury with inexperience. However you can compensate for that last one with ride time and gear.

Wow! This looks like one of Inmotion’s best wheel design to date. I love the information provided. I have a v12 HT and will have this for my next wheel. I do have a couple questions. Is tire tubeless ? Does tail light stay solid/blinking or does it change if turning to indicate left and right or increase brightness while braking? Love headlight function. Love increased rim design. Love c40. Love waterproof. Love suspension for big heavy rider. I am 193cm and 105kg. LOVE battery design. Please make seat taller than v11/v12 seat if one is made. Maybe integrate shock pump into seat?
Sustainability is the byproduct of strength and durability. IM may be referring to product longevity being more sustainable for both consumer’s quality concerns and the manufacturer’s concerns about stability and efficacy of production.

Will there be an option for having only two battery packs installed? Could those be high-discharge cells then for keeping up the performance? How are the rear powerpads installed if there are no batteries in the rear? What about the weight distribution with only batteries in the front? How much does 1 battery pack weigh?

@@INMOTIONSCV Thanks for the info. The wheel looks fantastic. I'd ask you in the future to keep focusing on the safety + performance of your wheels. I know of one case when one of the hall sensors failed on a V13 (due to heavy usage), and the second one was very handy, securing the rider. The point is, that many people would rather pay for safety than for medical bills. You're doing it right, basically defining a standard for others, and hopefully, you will continue the same way.
I just bought the v13, I wish I bought this model. Damn I want it so much..
