In my experience, the 1:72 scale sets are the best, though they also have a good selection of American Revolutionary War and American Civil War figures in a rough 1:32 scale.
The army men you bought are mix ww2 and modern war because every Chinese toy soldiers manufacturer are mix every soldier one by one; at 2:37 the figure your holding is a futuristic soldier.
Cool! I'd always seen Army Men around still, when I noticed, but never looked close at the details. I hadn't realized they'd modernized them since my childhood. And I agree, quality is definitely more important that detail. Imagination as a kid fills in the fine detail, but when the figures are incomplete, melded together, flat or as i saw once actually with a big hole the length of the back, it really took me out of the immersion.
I have been collecting army men since I was 13, I used to think I was in a small minority because usually people collect fantasy figurines instead of history based figures. I've always preferred real life instead of things like Warhammer or pokemon. It frustrates me that nearly everybody else when it comes to collecting figurines almost always prefer the sci fi and fantasy sets like Star wars or Warhammer. When I was growing up, I always felt "different!" I suppose it's good not to go with the flow and have you're own unique taste rather than just copying and parroting what everyone else is doing at the time. I also like older games too, games from the late 70's to the very early 00's with my preference being 90's games and some late 80's too. I don't even have a gaming console less than 15 years old or more. Some people accuse me of having poor taste because I can't stand ABBA, I prefer the smashing pumpkins and that's like my army men too. I gravitate towards what people 20+ years old would rather want, eg Airfix, and more vintage collecting companies! I also prefer darker films like Mr' Brooks and Gremlins, Avatar was a pile of pap in my opinion, I just didn't get into the whole hype surrounding this ordinary, mundane film, just because it was full of CGI doesn't mean it's a god film. There are some far older far better films out there. It is nice to see that I'm not the only grown adult who still enjoys the pleasure of army guys! I don't really buy into all the up to date things everyone else goes mad for. I guess I'll just have to be an old fart than a trendy dude! ) :
it can't... it's clearly a Merkava, the Churchill had a more box small turret, while the Abram's has a similar turret but not the same. The Abrams does not have a hatch on the sides but in the center. and the Churchill had 2 hatches.
I love army men figures they help me with ptsd and other things I have
BEST Army Men Review Channel ever Watch
With more research, you could see these guys are copies of airfix or matchbox. Still pretty cool. Great review friend.
You make some of the highest quality army man content on CZcams, great cideo
I have a lot of hobby lobby army men and other things.
The unique looking juggernaut guy is a scaled up xpanders figure copy.
Roger that. I've never heard of those toys. Just looked them up, and found the version our juggernaut-looking guy is based off. Thanks for the info.
I like how the juggernaut dude looks
You should make stop motions

same experience ranging from 1 to 1.5 inch 1:72 scale is cheep but hard to fly
find not fly
the juggernaut reminds me of the corps rifleman mold from the 1/32 soldier bucket
The civil war set is much better. The new cannons and cassion carts are a definite improvement over old ones I bought in 2018.
How I wanted to be in this store, it's amazing. 😍 Here in Brazil, unfortunately, there is no such thing. :(
E triste né amigo :/

do they have tans
@@randommovie1855 no
@@toysoldierboi22 ok
i just got myself one
also the scaling is a bit off
Maybe French tank.
I saw some of the molds in a bag of tiny ww2 army men.
I don't think these are WW2. They look more like the Vietnam era but with sort of French Adrian(?) helmets.
I feel it's a bit of a mix
If you ever have the chance to review Marx army men would you? Also have you ever tried too?
What is the size of the officer holding the pistol?
3:34 that is actually kinda a good thing because to me it looks more like a MK18 grenade launcher with out the barrel from the Vietnam war
Very interesting
yes

4:54 That could be an M1 Abrams or a ww2 British Churchill tank. Thanks for the video :)

I like the dogs on this set I’m a dog that’s me lol
I got the photos from that shop and it doesn't feel justice for me.
Thats a crappy set. I wouldnt want any of it.
Crappy army men. Plus they're hobby lobby, a business I'd be loath to give my money.
