I still think there should be a 1/3rd rule instead of just a touching rule, it would add more arguments to it but I think that’s a more realistic big league strike zone cause a ball just touching on hit trax isn’t always a strike.
Sim made the rule so he gets to suffer from it.. 😂

I love those pitching machines. They are amazing. The next time you do this, allow the machine throw as fast as it can. Ours could throw 120 mph. Of course it's an older one.

6:50 FALSE. Running away from a base is NOT in the base path. You are always considered to be running towards a base - in this case either first or second. Running backwards from second while a tag attempt is on is NOT in the basepath and should be an out.If you're not running towards second you're running towards first. Running into right field is not either of those.
I get why you're confused, because usually you're running near enough the base LINE that both directions are still on the base path, but when you're a skunk you don't get to run both towards and away from a given base. If you're not running towards second then you must be running to first.

For a lot of guys, it's just easier to see the ball coming from the hand instead of the machine. You should be able to hit both but makes sense to see it better coming from a pitcher's hand.
