Lol 😂 true
Man of Steel captures the core of who and what Superman is so beautifully. This kid sees Superman for the first time and wants to be like him immediately. That was Superman’s original purpose, to inspire a generation.
And what an awesome moment to see your child experience. Seeing Superman for the first time! I imagine this reminded Dad how he felt the first time he saw Superman.
NO IT DIDNT! The original Superman movie did! This one they made it dark and edgy.
It absolutely did not capture who and what Superman is. It was a decent movie yes. However, in comparison to the original movie, it fails miserably. Again I'm not saying Wich movie is better. Just Wich movie actually captured who and what Superman is, it's not this movie at all.
The original movie, Superman saved the city from the flood, saved the train from falling, then immediately flys into the earth to lift the entire San Andreas fault (awesome awesome awesome scene) then sends the nuclear missle into space, then trys to save Louis lane. When he realised he was too late, he explodes with raage and SPINS THE WORLD BACK THROUGH TIME!!! This Superman litterally spins the each back reversing time itself to save everyone.
This new Superman snaps general ZODS neck. Superman kills ZOD! This imo is not a great representation of Superman.
The first Superman movie, Superman will turn back time to save EVERYONE! This new Superman kills snapping the man's neck. Not the best representation.

Henry Cavill made a wonderful Superman. If you didn’t like the movie, fine. This baby is not reacting to the screenwriting, acting, or how it was directed. This little guy is seeing Superman FLY and it makes him happy. When did we all get so jaded and cynical that we can’t just take delight in seeing what this little guy sees? Keep on being You and don’t ever lose that feeling little guy!!
true, he is a perfect superman
Something else terrific about this scene that even Christopher Reeve's version had never shown: Clark's (yes, Clark, not Superman because Clark is who he was raised as) own pure delight and joy at discovering he can fly!
@@joshuahermanson341 bro Christopher Reeves might be good but imo he is overrated and ppl like him because of nostalgia.....most ppl don't use their own brains and just have that mob opinion..... because everyone says that Christopher was best ppl just believe it blindly.......look at Henry Cavill's superman he has minimal flaws, he looks just like superman ripped straight outta comics I can go on and on but I've made my point :)
@@electro1146 Oh I agree. I made the Christopher Reeve shout out for the quote itself, not just because it was Reeve who said it. It hit me a bit different. The baby is so happy. He doesn't know the definition of good and bad that prevails in the world. He doesn't care what others around him are thinking of him. He sees Clark fly which is not possible in real world and is overwhelmed by it. He is living just in the moment enjoying to the fullest raising his fists not caring about the world. It's so pure.

When a baby approves of "Man of Steel", no critic can argue with that.

When he gets older he has to set his alarm clock to play the man of steel theme.

@@roarmbee7045 absolutely it is! Now I find it very relatable especially to me. Tbh, I'm a very confused guy. I get confuse a lot when it comes to make choices. And that's exacy how Henry's Superman was.
Ma and Pa Kent raised him good. He knew what's right or wrong, he actually was a good human (what Superman has always been supposed to be) and optimistic but he has been confused. I’ve read just about hundreds of Superman comics, BeyondEntertainment, and I can confidently say that Henry Cavill’s portrayal of the character is incredibly accurate. Do you know what he did in preparation for the role?
He read a ton of Superman comics.
He didn’t refer back to the old movies or TV shows. He decided to portray Clark Kent as he is in the comic books, not as previous actors have portrayed him. The Superman you’re clinging to hasn’t been comic book canon since the early ‘70s.
