You definitely need a Create Flamethrower for crowd control/ spiders. You can also enchant it with the Hellfire enchant.

Punt guns were originally mounted on boats. And aimed, by moving the whole boat. And utterly decimated flocks of waterfowl
Also the punt gun weighed over 100ibs, and the rounds it fired weighed a little over a pound.
Kentucky ballistics has an actual Punt gun if you want to see the true size of one.

Hey Sparklers I've been to places that have punt guns.
What they were, was giant black powder, 10 foot long, rifles that you would load with grapeshot and shoot once and everything in your vision would die. It was either used on boats or held by two people. They were outlawed sometime in the 70s, as they were seen as too excessive for hunting, as they were traditionally used for duck hunting. While i think it would be cool to own one, (lol) i doubt i would get much use out of one. If you're ever traveling to Tennessee, the Bass Pro Pyramid has a miniature duck museum with one, among other things like automatic shotguns and a exhibit on types of rice and what ducks eat.

Ring of curses just sounds like a trap. Neutral mobs will attack you? Would that have included the traders?
Nah, villagers/wandering traders were fine. Iron Golems, Zombified Pigmen, Endermen were the significant ones.

Just remember, you Really want the spawners in the create building to remain intact as the items from it are needed in mass quantities
you should use depot for the fans, will save you from walking into them and the magnet form picking everything up

Create bulk processing on demand is a common convenience in a lot of modpacks, so much so that I designed a machine to do it with high throughput and no conveyor belts. Here's a step-by-step (i.e. as easy as a Lego set) guide to build it. Copy these instructions to a text file if you want to try it later.
Step 0: collect 1 lava bucket, 1 water bucket, 1 soul sand/soil, 1 netherack/magma, 1 flint & steel, 1 shaft, 1 wrench, 1 small water wheel, 4 encased fan, 4 chute, 4 drain, 4 brass funnel, 4 andesite funnel, 5 andesite casing, 5 encased chain drive, 8 barrels.
1. The total size of the machine is 5 blocks wide, 6 blocks deep and 4 blocks high including the floor, but be sure to account for free flowing lava and water.
2. Use the power of your imagination to imagine that your keyboard's number pad is the floor. This guide will use those keys as position references. The [4] key is towards the front side of the contraption.
3. Dig out the [*] [9] [6] and [3] keys.
4. Starting at the [-] key, place 4 encased fans so they'll blow over the hole you dug.
5. At the [9], put netherack with two andesite casings on top.
6. At the [6], put soul soil with two andesite casings on top.
7. Dig up the two bottom casings and ignite the netherack and soul soil.
8. At the [/], put an andesite casing with a chute above it, then dig up the casing. Repeat at [8] [5] and [2].
9. Walk to the front side (towards [4]) and place a drain next to each chute. They'll be above [1] [4] [7] and [Numlock].
10. Put 4 barrels next to the 4 drains (on the other side from the chutes). These are for output.
11. Put a barrel above each barrel you placed in the previous step. These are for input.
12. Step into the pit at [3] and shift-right-click andesite funnels onto the underside of the 4 output barrels. The funnels should suck items into the barrels.
13. Walk around to the rear behind the encased fans and place an encased chain drive behind each one. Then place one more encased chain drive on the left end (left from your perspective).
14. Walk around to your left and look at the encased fan on [enter]. Put a shaft next to it.
15. Put the water wheel on [.] so it connects to the shaft.
16. Hop up onto the chutes. Put an andesite casing on the fan on [enter] and dump your water bucket so it flows down into [3].
17. Check that all fans are blowing. If the fans suck, you are cross-eyed.
18. Right click a brass funnel onto the back of each input barrel so they'll dump onto the drains (items that can't be drained will simply roll across).
19. ! CRITICAL STEP ! Use a wrench to configure the brass funnels to output up to 16 items. Otherwise items may not have time to process.
20. Lastly, look at the encased fan on [-]. Put an andesite casing on top of it and dump lava so it flows down into [*].
21. (Optional) Replace the barrels with drawers. Make sure the lower drawer on the right can accept all products of bulk washing stuff like sand and crushed ore.
22. (Optional; for super fancy builders only) Dig out the blocks below the andesite funnels and replace them, left to right, with magma, camp fire, warped stem and prismarine bricks.

i would just use depot in front of fans, easy. and its hidden, but the magnet does have an inventory button, its right below the 2x2 in the inventory.

If you still want to play another gun-related modpack after this, may I suggest the Jetpack Cat Modpack?
It's exploration-focused and has some pretty over-the-top fun. You can't craft guns, but you'll be able to find or craft loot crates by exploring. It's not quite tech-heavy either, only some Create stuff if you really want to. It's intentionally hard though, you're expected to die repeatedly early-game, so it's up to you if you want to play it.
i hope he does this one day, always wanted to try it out but my laptop will not let me lol

Chat's going to have to recommend one of those packs that auto-equip the curse ring on world creation to the players that log in to the instance if they really want to see Jardon just deal with it. The benefits aren't bad once you're past the difficulty bump, but doing so voluntarily is making the choice to make some aspects of this questing world unreasonable. Being on fire until you find something to put yourself out is one of those things. Still... Weaker armor? Stronger mobs? None of those things matter much when you can just pop them from a distance without fear of nasty "champion" types just killing you with remote drowning.
Doesn't make the choice any easier, per se, but if Jardon can get gunpowder auto-crafting via cobble gen (as with previous packs) then there's less reason to avoid the curse ring. It should be as basic as taking flint (byproduct of washing gravel), grinding it up, then doing whatever he likes with it. If those Create storage barrels that make the really big item vault are potentially a thing in this pack, then they'll potentially be very useful for this process, too.
