    Good vidéo. You should paint everything with a metallic spray. Your Astra is super rusty downstairs.
    Good Idea for the
    Grease. My Astra j has 195 000 kms. Not to much problem, instead dpr end egr valve to clean.
    I have my own receipt to clean everything.
    White spirit, acéton, trichloréthylène and vaseline oil in the tank (30 cl) sometimes.. Good saturday🇫🇷😊

    3:18 you do not ,,have to have" this tool - if you have a angle grinder at home, you probably also have a key/wrench for it (to change discs). It fits almost perfectly with those slots - I had to take 0,5mm from the key ,,knobs" for it to fit right in.
    Then, I just started to turn it right/screw it in, and it went back like showed in this video.
    If you have this tool - I AM SURE it is easier to use etc. - but if you have not, think twice if you really have to get a tool you're gonna use once in few years.
    Just wanted to share this with you, because I know folks who when they see a tool they do not have, they immediately go to a shop/garage/mechanic and pay triple the amount. Why do that?
    Cheers, great video :)

      @arturro great tip many thanks!!!👍
      (I used an old bicycle tool-the flat one with multiple openings- drilled and fixed two 5mm screws with same distance as the slots on the piston)
      Cheers again and you take care!

    Hello, handbrake is propably not attracted to get the caliper off. What is the correct position for the jack stand? The jack is in the rear position of the sill.

    Every one say the piston has to be align
    But Nobody say WHY ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿

      Or else the caliper won't slide back over the pads due to there being a little indent on the piston that allows it to slot over the pads
