I see that Otis likes to upshift at the exit of corners more than Jarno
I find it gives more traction/minimises the chance of wheelspin - but I'm a scrub and can't even put my shoes on the correct feet, so what do I know?
Short shifting is overpowered in f1 22, it allows you to more consistently put power down while minimising wheelspin

@@lordrevan4553 if anything short shifting takes less skill because you only have to upshift a few times sooner on the exit of a corner, 0-0 wings you have to deal with less grip on entry and exit. Short shifting is a way to help with 0-0 wings.

Difference between speed and then consistency and strategy in Esports he will do very well. Definitely good in short races.

Otis has proven many times he’s really fast but not ready for ESports yet. When he’s in the middle of other cars chaos and have to overtake/avoid collisions he just don’t have the patience, consistency and race management that champs like Jarno have. If he works and improves on those aspects he can definitely be a tough competitor

he's 14 years old though, very very young. by the time he's in esports, he'll be way ahead of the field in terms of raw pace and ability, the rest will come with time. he's RAPID for his age and how long hes been doing it for.

I usually played on controller all the time and on time went to my friends house. His brother had a sim racing set-up and I raced with it. It was a nightmare trying to get use to that thing yet it looks so easy when people like Jarno do it.
First time I set up and used my wheel was heartbreaking. I was so excited for it to come but when I tried it, it was way worse than controller! You have to keep practicing! I would never race with assists on or a controller now

Hello jarno I really wish you will reply I got a problem I go wide in entry and mid corner and exit and it feels like it just isn’t turning what is this thank you
I am not jarno, but this sounds like a steering radius issue, try putting it to 360 degrees in the software
Sounds like your are understeering, which is lack of traction at your current speed through a corner. So you have a couple of options...... increase your downforce (which will hurt your top speed on straights) ....or....decrease your entry speed (slow in, fast out). You can achieve the latter by breaking earlier and carrying a minimum speed through the corner. Which one you choose will depend on what you stand to lose or gain over the course of the entire track. If you are understeering on a small number of corners, but the track has a couple of long straights.... it might make more sense to brake early and carry speed for those corners than increase your downforce and hurt your overall straight line top end. You just gotta figure out which option gains you more time over the course of a lap. Good luck
