They really fumbled the gold figs in the 20th pack. The only good one is the arbiter. All they had to do was make each fig in a solid gold color and leave out any paint. They were so close to perfection 😔
Agreed. Arby is the best. Chief is okay but not great. The rest are barf

I would have loved the 20th anniversary pack if they included an original colored spartan locke, Atriox, cortana instead of the gold ones. I would also prefer them adding a elite honor guard instead of 2 masterchiefs.
Also if they had removed Sesa Refumee or the Hretic leader. We literally got him again in the arbiters quest set. Wasted spot
The 20th anniversary pack came out before arbiters Quest because he had human hands
We got Carter, Emile, Miranda, Mickey and Sesa all again. The 20th pack was not meant to have exclusive characters

I personally like the marine, mostly because it looks kind of weird but it also reminds me of the cartoony side of them being toys, but also the spartan lower legs do take away from it being accurate, but again aside from accuracy if i was a kid and i just saw that figurine id love it. Green goes with the armor and the combination of the odst legs with the spartan boots is a kind of odd but good looking combination, it doesnt look bulky it just kind of looks sharp or sleek

I actually kinda like protector. I can't defend myself for liking it but I just thought it was weird looking and stood out amongst my other Spartans. (I also had fond memories of getting delta blind bags including him which probably plays a part in why I like him)

For real tho, he is a decent character. 343 just made the mistake of trying to get him to replace Chief as the face of Halo.
Jerome could replace Chief. Locke could star in a game of his own adjacent to the 'face of Halo' character
I could see Jerome as the new Chief. Hopefully 343 will go with him instead of their "edgy" OC.

I must agree that Bananortana (yes, that is what I'm calling her now) is incredibly hideous, and I have no idea how that is even counted as a golden figure sometimes.

The Delta series Protector was actually my first mega construx spartan fig my first Halo mega fig was a Odst in white from the metallic series of drop pods
That ODST was a slick figure

I just painted over my gold figures mainly lol and arbiter I just pop and Swap him with an extra elite I had lying around

I’m glad you put Chief on this list, not only is it not accurate, but there is discoloration throughout the armor. Not only that, but the shade of green doesn’t look very green, not a true Master Chief green.
I'm not a huge fan of the green either
The protector just looks like a worse version of that yellow Gungir from that old warthog set

The protector might have some redemption if it had outlines. Gungnir for example is a machine-looking helmet, yet many love it since it empowers the spartan look (more machine than man, hence like a superhero)
I think you're right. As it is, it's just too jumbled and hard to look at

I know why the gold figures suck compared to the CE chief:
The gold is translucent. For some godforsaken reason Mega picked a different type of gold plastic that is either much thinner or is just clear plastic painted gold. If you look at the feet of Locke and Chief, you can see through them a little but and its awful. Honestly I’m just gonna paint the Atriox and Locke, swap out Arby and Chiefs undersuit and flesh stuff for regular ones, and just leave cortana because she’s basically unsalvagable.

(WARNING THIS WILL BE LONG) For me, the worst figure was the Halo Heroes Spartan War Master. He was hard to move, hard to play with, hard to pose. I just didn’t like him. Now, as I watch the video, I’ll post what I agree with(not meaning to hate, just thought it’d be fun)
10. Yes Halo Three chief sucks, but for me, cause of the chest being huge.
9. This Johnson has all the pieces and paint work to be amazing, but the colors of the plastic just suck. :(

Poor Warmaster. When the QC is good, he's a solid figure, though the Warmaster rig is a bit tough to pose

Miranda Keyes his nose is too big in the game a 20 anniversary. No I think anniversary version of halo two her nose is teeny not giant big nose nostrils. I pay attention to the characters.
They make us pay all that money for half-Assed products so disappointing sometimes
There's only been a few truly half baked sets
My Miranda Keyes fig looks better on the face but it still has the unpainted hair bits on the front but the face fixes it

I gave my elephant chief the infinite series 3 centurion legs and lower arms and ong it looks so good instantly became a favorite figure of mine

1:21 - I don’t know if they’re supposed to make an Infinite Chief or Halo 3 Chief, they just gave him an existential crisis.
2:31 - The old version of our homie Sgt. Johnson. Honestly yours looks alright, I prefer the Halo 2 Anniversary version. - *When I joined the Corps, we didn’t have any fancy-schmanzy tanks. We had sticks! Two sticks, and a rock for the whole platoon, and we had to share the rock! Buck-up boy, you are a one very lucky Marine!*
4:12 - A lot of inaccuracies here, Mega, seriously, step up your historical accuracy here. We’re not in Halo: Reach yet where some Marines share some armor parts from SPARTAN-IIIs. I dig the chin beard though, but he’ll be bullied a lot for this part. 😂 - *You better hide that big ass forehead* - Luke Hobbs, Fast & Furious 6
5:48 - I thought nothing’s wrong with him, until you show his blank face. Lame.
7:27 - I’ve seen a better female Marine from that one Halo Infinite set that comes with an orange Mark VII figure, she’s got a black hair, they did not use Miranda’s face and it’s much better than this.
8:42 - They’re getting there, but for some reason the face looks more masculine, and I get that they went with the Halo 2 Anniversary look.
10:14 - Ah, the cursed version of Miranda Keyes. *PTSD intensifies*
12:21 - The Protector helmet just looks more like a cat meowing for me. 😂
13:21 - I hate the gold figures, making Locke in that color scheme is the worst choice. If they had gone with just coloring him normally and others, the set would’ve been much better.
14:48 - Mega, seriously, Cortana’s not a food. She’s a freaking AI.

H2/3 Chief may be inaccurate, but at least he's got chunky armor. The accurate pieces are honestly too skinny to look good. The gold 20th anniversary figs are terrible, but for me, the worst figures are any of the new articulation jackals (H4/5 or infinite.) They reuse so many base parts that they just feel cheap. Even the worst grunt has dedicated pieces, but a jackal feels like recycled elite parts with one or two new pieces slapped on just to call it a jackal.
I don't know what you're talking about with the reusing pieces from the elite for the Infinite jackal. The ONLY reused parts from the elite on that jackal are the forearms, hands, and undersuit parts of the legs (the lower legs and thigh armor parts are exclusive to the jackal).
@@CloneCommanderCrater1102 reused forearms means no elbow feathers and the legs are the same proportions as an elites, because they're the same leg except for the armour. Just looks off, and most parts are reused from other figures
It's a Jackal, it's supposed to be a cheap army builder. Grunts have dedicated pieces, yes, but it's the same handful of pieces reused over and over. Plus, they have less parts than Jackals do
@@DemarcationMedia brutes have nearly all dedicated pieces and they have the same number as Spartans. Plus Jackals and Skirmishers have been in the heroes line almost as much as in regular sets, and they're pretty meh in them. A lot of figs introduced in that first Infinite wave in 2020 really suffer from reused pieces tbf
@@thunderslug1066 Honestly, I'm not sure that it matters to many people. Not to knock what you're saying, but Mega's budget is better used elsewhere. I haven't seen anyone complain about the Jackals aside from the shield size (the shields are a little sad)
The second red helmet set with the flood tentacle foliage is based off of extraction from halo 4 and extraction is returning to halo infinite
Extraction doesn't seem to have much to do with the Flood in Infinite though
Honorable mentions: Roland AI and any and all Spartans with no visor (ie: Gungnir)
Hey, Gungnirs are cool. Well, the Reach version. Roland wasn't horrible, he just looked odd and was too well produced XD

Rtas is one of the worst to me. His unique head and helmet are incredible but it drives me insane that they didnt use the correct chest and feet because they literally have the moulds they just didnt use them

Iron Hands have a cool color scheme, though the Joytoy figs have fiddly robo hands. The Wolves and Salamanders have interesting ideals
Personally I think they need to re-do Spartan Davis, his only figure appearance was in a battlepack and it just isnt it, its schoolbus Yellow and the visor is orange and its kinda hard to see the visor, I have every named characters and all iterations of those characters theyve ever made and in my opinion hes the most lacking one in terms of paint aps and color.

One of my least favorites is kinsano in the halo heroes waves only because its a waste of figures instead they should of done captain cutter or even colony

I really think you shouldve had
-early Halo Infinite marines for having legs that are too long
-Mk IV halo wars spartans for having completely inaccurate thighs, forearms, and chest armor
-Infinite Master Chief for having wrong shoulders for years despite having the right shoulders made for the forward undo dawn suit
-20th anniversary pack Linda for having MkVII shoulders???????
-Halo Heroes DARE for just having palmers head with blonde hair
-H2 Arbiter from the heretic banshee and that fancy two pack which both still have kaidon arby feet and the halo 3 arby chestpiece
- Halo Heroes elite ultra from around Infinites release that has a beautiful plasma repeater and a totally silver and gunmetal grey paint that is nothing like Infinite or Halo Reach had
-infinites marine sniper and other types could use more work too if we're really being nitpicky. The snipers are given ODST helmets and they keep giving them random spartan shoulders to use
The marines I left out because there's nothing really wrong with them aside from being a micro-fraction too tall. Chief was left out too because the FUD suit doesn't actually even have the right shoulders, the real proper shoulders were just made. The HW Spartans suffer from the same problem as H2/3 Chief but the chestplate is not horrible. The Arbiter is just a great figure even if he has wrong armor and the Ultra is pretty much the same: great even though it isn't accurate

@@DemarcationMedia I think you missed the other issue with the marines *aside* from the height even though that was a pretty big deal to people (which was why it was changed)
Random spartan shoulders and the ODST helmet? Youve judged harsher for much less, like 3 mirandas bro 🤣
@@punctuate8937 Anybody who complains about the ODST helmets and the Spartan shoulders is missing the point of Mega: they are made to be pop and swapped. Mega tossed game accuracy out the window in favor of customizing options for the marines and it was fantastic.

I disagree the gold Cortana is epic , think I gotta a better print then you tho also got a really nice keys outta the 20th edition it’s a shame not all figures are made the same they need to put more polish on their products so this doesn’t happen

I definitely think youre too harsh on h2/h3 chief. Personally, the green spartans from the Spartan IV pack are waaaay worse. The difference in colour between the head and armour is... just so bad.
I do like most of the H2/3 Chiefs, but he IS pretty darn inacccurate. But yeah some of the other green spartans have very poor color matching

Am I the only one who liked the h2 marines? I was so hyped when they were first revealed and so glad I got my hands on them when I was able to track down a lot of them
I've heard a few people who like them but it seems that the majority don't :(
