- In this video, I take a look at the top 10 best Mega figures ever...well, not quite. This list is a very subjective one. Do you agree or do you disagree with my choices?

My first ever figure was the 2015 gungoose noble six, he's been my favorite ever since. I guess nostalgia is a drug 😂

For me, the best figure is the Spartan haunted for its uniqueness, and the paintwork is pretty good, in my opinion and for the banished I think jega is the best
I almost put the Haunted in here actually--he just barely didn't make the cut. Jega is pretty darn good too
Might be a hot take but I think a lot of the original figures deserve some mention are are on my personal top 10. The paint and weathering on them look so good on the Spartans, especially for being so old. The Hybusa, older ODST, and even common figures all have excellent paint. Paint wise I think they tend to look better then the super articulated figs.
That is true. They did have pretty nice paintwork. My old art collection is very very small though so I don't have the resources to make a top 10 for the old ones, at least not right now

And man, that blue Mk VII is amazing, I'm still heartbroken that my dog ate mine, the cat dropped it from the shelf and the dog went to town :(

As for my 10, in no particular order, just the ones I'm remembering right now:
-Silver and steel Elite Ultra from the old articulation Drop pods, 1:1 match for my Multiplayer Reach Elite.
-Marine Sniper from Halo Heroes, gorgeous camo, LOTS of painted details and an extra helmet.
-Silver Elite Ultra from Halo Heroes, amazing update with the ultimate Plasma Repeater.
-Halo Heroes Jorge, the best from Noble Team, with a figure worthy of his awesomeness.
-Banished Marauder Johnson, because he knows what the ladies like.
-Banished Marauder Jackal, because I love his silly Eel face.
-Brown CQC from Halo Heroes, the figure that brought me back into collecting because it was beautful.
-Red and Yellow Operator from Halo Heroes, that Spartan Laser is INCREDIBLE and the figure's neat too.
-Blue Mk V from Universe Blind Bags, super simple, but super effective.
-Silver and blue Anubis from the Yellow Helmet set, I love that color combo.
That yellow and red Operator actually was my original sig-fig!

The Mega fanbase isn't totally reliant on there being new sets! There's plenty to be done with the older ones
Your list is pretty great! Nice to see some of the more unique Spartans getting recognition. Picking top ten is no easy task but of the figs I own mine (in no particular order) are as follows-
1. Captain Keys. His eyes could’ve been done better but honestly I just love that figure and he’s a great officer to have leading my troops.
2. Spartan Yuroi halo heroes. In addition to being a beautiful figure, I have a particular soft spot for this guy because of my luck finding him at my local retailer against all odds.
3. Clash on the ring CE marine. I had been collecting for a long time when this fig came out but watching the domain and his travel bloks episode with this figure in it made me really want to army build them, thus this marine was my first army build.
4. Halo Wars marine. I have to agree with your inclusion of that fig! I really wanted to army build him but unfortunately I only managed to grab three of them. They serve as my special forces/ vanguards for my officers.
5. Halo heroes 10th anniversary CE Chief. As you can probably tell, I love CE. It was the game that I would go to all the time with my friends and family. This fig just hits home for me.
6. Arbiter’s quest Arbiter. Gotta show some love for the arbiter! It was a close one for me between this guy and the vs. pack arbiter, but that wash just works.
7. Elephant Johnson. Johnson is my favorite character in all of halo. He’s basically just apone from aliens but that is totally ok with me. I quote johnson way too much not to put him on the list and this is the only johnson fig I have.
8. Jegga. This guy was a badass in infinite and makes for a super cool figure. He’s the perfect menacing leader for the elites.
9. Shipmaster from the 20th anniversary pack. Shipmaster is a great character and mega didn’t skimp on his fig. I love the unique head mold and elite armor in white just looks awesome to me.
10. 10th anniversary warthog hunter. This fig just looks dead on to the in game equivalent. I have four of these guys and they complete my covy army.
Honorable mentions- falcon sweep George, Wombat overwatch Buck, halo heroes series 11 arbiter, heroes series 8 banished ship master, Sargent Tarkov.
Super solid list! The CE marine is a fantastic figure and I'm glad I hung onto the ones I got from the Clash On The Ring box. Though, the CE marine is returning in the new blind bags which is awesome

i actually like the Locke figure. i dont have it. but i think its neat. much rather have him as an ODST or a Spartan, but oh well
Mega did make versions of him that are in his ODST gear and his Spartan gear

an updated version, though. the spartan Locke's we've gotten have always been super rare bar that one from the fireteam set that was just drowning in silver wash. whilst he didn't look as bad as Vale because of his colour, it was still too much.
and his ODST gear is really cool, I'd love to get him, but it's even rarer, especially with both of his heads included.

Locke doesn't get enough attention
My favorite figure is the blue hayabusa, an og guy but he’s perfect in my eyes even w/o full articulation. Also the challenger green ODST and Action block anubis are up there

Kovan is based off of concept art so inaccuracies is to be expected like the scorpion punch Spartan
Makes sense. I'm totally okay with the inaccuracies and I actually see one of 343's bots using that setup quite often when I play bot matches in Infinite
Likewise, Halo 4 Chief is the one I started to learn about the Halo universe. I have all the mega construx chief figures, one Im missing is the 2011 PAX CE Halofest Exclusive one.

Halo 4 Chief was THE Chief design for about 10 years, so I would say he is the definitive Chief design.
You should do a fan community voted best figure list, though that would be hard as hell to do. Maybe a vote for the best hero of every series, and then a vote for their ranking? Idk, just an idea lol

I changed the Locke figure one, and tried to recreate that one buff odst from Red vs Blue during the flashback scenes.
I did something similar, but with a Halo Infinite Marine survivor

Kind of a side question, but do you think Target working closer and closer with LEGO either directly or indirectly helped push MEGA Halo out of stores? I don’t know why else they would’ve stopped carrying them. It couldn’t have been sales, because they would be consistently selling out soon after they would get stock.
I don't think that it has much to do with it honestly. If all Mega went out of Target, I would assume their partnership with Lego had something to do with it, but since it was just Halo and the Jazwares stuff was taken out of stores too, I think it's just the Halo IP that they're avoiding
Pokemon sets are still there i think target has just lost faith in the halo brand when I used to work there they couldn't even give away their copies of halo infinite they had them as low as $3 a game and they didn't even budge so yeah I think halo infinite flopping and the backlash towards the halo TV show may have had something to do with it

My list is as follows, no order:
Faithful vs Fallen Operator
Falcon Sweep Noble team
Gold Elite from Scorpion Clash
CE Master Chief with all the paint and other decals
New Articulation Halo Wars Marines
The Faithful V Fallen figures are so cool
I think top 10 ODSTs would be pretty cool
Not a bad idea...
To be honest, my 2 favorite minifigures are the ODST from the new hornet set, and the white and orange spartan trailblazer from halo heroes
The trailblazer is super nice 'cause Mega gave him a wash. And the white/orange combo is just awesome

12 the flaming noob halo hero spartan recruit
13 the odst with the green stripe from the set dutch originally came out in with the drones i dont know what its called

Mainly because Noble Team gets rated super highly all the time and if I included them, they'd be most of the list

I think I respect this list a lot, however I'm surprised HALO Heroes Series 2's Spartan Scout didn't make the cut.
Also HALO 4 doesn't have a hydra [and HALO 5 doesn't have marines :( ], but those marines are technically the only marines in HALO 4 with the other permutations mostly being Engineers and etc. Though most say that the marines in HALO 4 have airsoft gear I still agree with where it's at in the list as it's also one of my favorites in terms of MCX figures.
Here's my list:
10. Green Air Assault (old shade turret set): A very dark green with a nice silver visor, this figure was one of my first and I still have it on the shelf to this day. Came also with one of the first jetpack sculpts MEGA had and still uses to this day.
9. Trailblazer Spartan (HALO Heroes Series 14): Though the Camo doesn't go all the way. it's still a very nice figure.
8. Dare (20th anniversary set): Favorite non-ODST ODST. Though the visor on mine is fading and sticky for some reason, the print on the chest is nice to see.
7. Tarkov: Nice figure with some insane small prints on the chest. My personal favorite when it comes to ODSTs. Although I do have the HALO 3 style ODST Sergeant, it bugs me with how bland the torso is.
6. HALO 4 Infinity/Reclaimer Marines: Same one as yours, but I prefer the older one's paint since it has most of the white stripes it's meant to have. I also like the snow version MEGA did before (not blizzard squad), but it's hard to find now.
5. Any HALO: Wars style marine: Loved the style of HALO: War's marines in the cinematics. I would always put this at 2nd for my favorite marine designs, MEGA or not.
4. Any HALO: Reach Army Trooper/Halo Infinite marine: Easy to amass. I loved playing Reach a long time ago and the design for the Army Trooper was very down to earth and "tacticool." Simply my favorite design when it comes to allies in the HALO franchise.
3. Sarah Palmer (Spartan Assault ver.): Figure was made during the time when speckling was still used and the prints on this figure are still great.
2. Haunted Spartan: Speaks for itself. The unique helmet with the relatively new breacher chestplate is nice and so is that concussion rifle.
1. Series 2 Spartan Scout: I love the scout helmet from HALO 4-5 and apparently 343 did too since they added it with barely any design changes to Infinite. The neon-ish green on the military green strikes a lot and that tiger shark MA5D print is clean as hell.
I almost put him on there, such a great figure.
H5 has those Security Marines, doesn't it?
@@DemarcationMedia H5’s campaign had miners that armed themselves and also some guards, but I also just remembered the Warzone mode having marines, but they basically did nothing and used the H4 engineer model.

I also start playing halo with halo 4 (and its still the only halo game I've played so far) and I just really like the design of halo 4s chief, but finding a good mega figure of him is not easy.
Huh? You can get a great Halo 4 Chief in the 20th Anniversary Character pack.
I think that figure is just little of with the color, and I don't want Miranda Keyes with that flesh hair🤣@@DemarcationMedia

No one asked, but I will share my own Top 10, which is a bit difficult, but H e r e w e g o-
(UPDATE BECAUSE I FORGOT THIS FIGURE EXISTED)10: Elite Ultra(Halo Heroes series 12): I have been a big fan of Ultras for a long time, and this figure catches the power and menace of the Ultras best. Also, PAINTED PLASMA REPEATER!
9: Spartan Security(Yellow version from Halo Blind Bag Series 9)/Whenever I think of classic Halo, I think of this Old-Articulation boi. I've grown a lot as a Halo fan, and when I got this figure, I didn't like him that much, and I had a lot of him. However, I've grown more, and I look back fondly on this figure. He's cool.
8: Elite Ranger(Halo Blind Bag series Bravo)/The original op from my childhood, I got this figure way long ago, and I think he got me my first Energy Sword for Mega Construx. Another fairly humble figure, but he's another figure I generally do like, and I would love to see him come back at some point.
7: Marine(HW2 version from the Halo Blind Bag series Delta)/This figure originally had me thinking that I got a Flood figure from this series, but I didn't. That being said, I still think this figure is really cool, and I'd love to grab him again in the future. Generally, I think he's cool. He's a humble figure, but not all these figures need to be insanely awesome.
6: Spartan Gungnir(Red and Cream version from the Building Box set)/My favorite red figure from the Mega line-up, this figure is incredibly awesome and is unique in a lot of ways. I normally associate this figure with the Energy Sword available in the same set, but outside of the uniqueness of the figure, it is very cool, and is, I would argue, the best Gungnir we have gotten so far, and even if it isn't, it's my favorite.
5: Spartan Mk V(Silver version from Halo Blind Bag series Clash on the Ring)/Similar to my Number One, and what I consider to be a figure that shouldn't exist, this Spartan is a silver figure which comes with a shotgun. Later on, this anomaly will become relevant to why I love this figure, but I love the classic Mk V style, along with how this comes in a nostalgic way to grab figures, being through Blind Bags. Love this guy, and it is my favorite Blind Bag figure out there.
4: ODST(Orange and Gray version from Drop-Pod Operation Throne)/This ODST remains my favorite of the various Shock Troopers we have gotten from MEGA, and I love it. Quite a rare figure, even to a point where I don't own it, but a very desired figure nonetheless. As I have been working on my series, this has become the basis for the main ODST from this series, and this figure remains both an awesome figure and one of my most wanted. On top of that, he has a classic silenced SMG, which I adore.
3: Arbiter Ripa 'Moramee(Halo Heroes)/Easily the most threatening Elite I have seen, along with the best designed Arbiter figure out there, this villain from Halo Wars has been a long-standing favorite of mine, and as a whole, it looks awesome. Also, where do you get two painted Energy Swords for no extra costs?? Outside of this, the figure is just overall awesome, and is my favorite Elite and overall Covenant figure.
2: Spartan Recon(Orange and Blue version from Halo Heroes series 12)/In 2020, I found this figure at a Target somewhere, and I decided to get it just because. I didn't do a lot with it when I first got it, and didn't think much of it at first, but I would later grow to love it and also implement it into the series I've been working on. I do also love the Reach style Assault Rifle, and the only reason it isn't my favorite is because it's nostalgic value is lower than my favorite of all time.
1: Spartan MkVI Gen 2(Silver version from Spartan IV battle pack III)/Remaining my favorite due to a series I've been working on called Halo Silverstreak, this Spartan has been at the forefront of my Halo journey, being around almost since I started, and now being a figure I love. I have the original, who has been through a lot, but I love the figure. It may also be where my love for shotguns comes from, but outside of that, it also inspired my main design, being a white with gray/black highlights that I use in my armors in Halo. Needless to say, he's a great figure, and I adore him.
That's a very solid list! Though, I don't personally like Security Spartans XD The MK VI Gen 2 is a great figure though
