Today were going to be showing you our methods for creating a pattern for a pancake style leather Holster. Note this method works for a variety of firearms not just the one used in this video.
GRUBBYGUT: Please make another video. You explain things that anyone can understand. What I like is that you do not assume everyone know what you are saying you explain every step. Sure wish you would do some more on leather holsters using other types of holster stylse for the unimaginitive like me. Thanx
Any tips on making a pancake holster pattern for a large frame revolver, such as the Ruger Redhawk? Enjoyed your instructional video! Great tips for a fledgling holster maker.
Really like the video. I'm a hobby leatherworker and have made a lot of wet formed knife sheaths but never tried a holster. I am going to do a build-along for my Glock 27 to learn the process. Thanks for posting!
I've made several fold over western holsters but only one pancake. Had some issues with clearance for gun and where stitches should be. I like your method for pattern making. It's been difficult finding a good vid on this subject. Thanks for the info.
nice, very informative sir. I am kind of at wits end of buying a good shoulder holster. Thinking about making my own even if it cost more to do so. I want it to fit like a glove ya know. I am very picky.
a Hi-point is like a fat girl, sure shes heavy but it's a guaranteed bang everytime. the Kel-tec on the other hand I would never put my life on the line with a Kel-Tec on my hip
I had a C9 that I would match against any pistol on a range!! No jams, FTF, or any problems. It IS heavy but it WILL put holes in whatever you shoot at!!
Excellent presentation ! ! !
I watched this video a while ago and have been trying to find it again ever since, I obviously just found it.
Excellent explanation and demonstration..... so simple.
This is exactly the guideline that I was looking for. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video. I have watched several others and yours was the first one to make sense to me.
Excellent video. I've watched many others on CZcams and this one is FAR better than all the rest combined. Thanks!

When are you going to do a followup to Pt 3? How about showing us how to do a pattern for a cross draw leather lined holster for a Glock 17

NICE VIDEO SIR, THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEO! GOD BLESS YOU PO IDOL!
This was fantastic and I loved it. But what about the back piece Of the pattern sir?
Nice video! Nice explanation. I will be making my LC9s holster based on your vid. Did I say Nice Piney woods scene?
I was making a holser for my gov't model but now i am going to make one for my old hi-point also. Thanks
Very nice
Surprised someone is going through the time and expense of a custom holster for a Hi-point
who the heck would want to carry a hi-point?! talk about gambling with your life..
a Hi-point is like a fat girl, sure shes heavy but it's a guaranteed bang everytime.
the Kel-tec on the other hand I would never put my life on the line with a Kel-Tec on my hip
Not a thing wrong with Hi Point, just a little heavy and a pain to field strip but I have never had one jam yet.
I had a C9 that I would match against any pistol on a range!! No jams, FTF, or any problems. It IS heavy but it WILL put holes in whatever you shoot at!!
Only drawback on my C-9 is that it is a single stack. And it goes bang every time I pull the trigger.
I met one person who said it’s the best gun ever and it weighed like 10 pounds
MAKES NO GOD DAM SENSE
