I really like infinite in this mod. He has such an attitude about him. It's like we got to see a bit more of who he is behind the mask.

Okay but the implication that due to the shenanigans of the Doctor (and Metal) in making Infinite the perfect host for the Phantom Ruby, he now just naturally has the same power to a smaller scale without need for the Ruby or a power source is actually pretty interesting.

I don't blame Infinite nor Metal. I blame whoever thought that putting a USB-accessible terminal next to the power supply was a good idea.
Still blame Metal though since he put the core of the Phantom Ruby in the EXACT SAME LOCATION EGGMAN PUT IT LAST TIME
@@thequickmasterrace6 You (and Infinite) do have a point. My point is that if the power supply can't be destroyed by brute force as implied, then, despite how thick the firewall is, it should not be connected to a still-hackable terminal with slots for normal Type-A USB flash drives.
The real Phantom Ruby never needed a power supply so that's a big plot hole right there
@@chrange9714 Not exactly. As we saw in Sonic Mania and the final battle of Sonic Forces, the Phantom Ruby is powerful, but not enough to takeover the world, hence why Eggman made Infinite's Phantom Ruby.
I mean, base Sonic, both modern and classic, beated final bosses using the Phantom Ruby like an average adventure final boss. That should show the limitations of the Phantom Ruby, right?
The only way for the Phantom Ruby to actually takeover the world is for it to aqquire a stronger energy source, like how the energy of the Chaos Emeralds allowed the Phantom Ruby to retreat to Modern Sonic's World, with Classic Sonic in tow.
@@playerblue3921 Eggman didn't make Infinite's Phantom Ruby, I have no idea where you got that from. He found the ruby when is went from Mania and appeared in their time. Modern and Classic Sonic didn't beat the final boss of their games like they were just another adventure boss, in Mania it actively harmed him causing him to lose rings even in a super state. In Forces it would've too had Super Sonic been a story thing and final boss. The Phantom Ruby can warp reality on a whim by itself, the prototypes which Eggman was developing couldn't. They needed a stronger energy source. The Chaos Emeralds didn't allow the ruby to go to Modern Sonic's time, it was the clash of energy from both the seven emeralds and the ruby that opened up a warp rift.
Well, if Eggman can miraculously escape White Space, they can get out of this... Right?
He created and understood null space and had the equipment in his egg mobile to escape

I mean both cases are different since in the white space there were TWO Eggman's and considering that both of them were equally as smart they were able to figure out how to escape eventually but Infinite and Metal Sonic may not be the same case.

I'm grateful that Infinite isn't dead, I hope the story continues and hopefully Infinite can forget about revenge and Become a good person, although it is very difficult to forget that his best friend is gone because he was killed by one of Sonic friends

I like to think that Metal Sonic and Neo Metal Sonic are two different personnalities. Therefore, when Neo Metal Sonic disappear because of the lack of the Phantom Ruby, I like to think that Metal Sonic's personnality takes over and just wonder how the hell did he went into Null Space

this was great but its clear things were cut short. I wish the 3 part plan could have gone through but still im happy at least the project was finished in some way
I loved this project, what a wonderful mod.
My only complaint is that I wish it was longer! It felt so detailed, felt so fucking FUN.
And I beat it within like.. an hour.
Short and sweet is better than long and horrible but DAMN.
If this really happened in sonic forces it would probably be one of the best sonic games ever neo metal Sonic’s character in this game is on point you can really see the revenge he has for sonic and that he is eager to conquer the world just like eggman you can really see that metal sonic has some Similarities to eggman not only that also infinite here is more eager to just destroy everything in his path and finish whats he started can you can see that infinite still his mercenary self but infinite and metal sonic as a duo is peak from all that seen about this game is peak hours have been waiting for this game for a long time and it’s finally out in opinion this game is a 10/10 S tier goated game 🗿

The mob is so good that it seems to be official, the only thing I disliked was the final battle, it's not bad but I was expecting something more epic. Like a Neo Metal Sonic transformation, for example.
The fact that the mod had a new boss at all is a huge accomplishment in and of itself. With all the programming it requires, it's probably way more difficult to make than a level.
The voice for Neo Metal Sonic is just amazing. Which voice changer did you use?

I personally think Infinite lost an eye after fighting Shadow, hence why we don’t see his face and why his mask on showed one pupil.
The actual look of Infinite without a mask IS canon, if you're actually watching that moment in the Episode Shadow where he say "I'M NOT WEAK", you can see that he's actually like this, there's also some official comics that prove that Infinite is like this without a mask

This game was good but a bit short, also some of the levels were buggy, and I don’t know if this is a PC issue, a game issue or a mod issue but it felt really choppy to me, playable, for sure, but choppy, solid 7/10 experience
Infinite the Jackal is the most forgotten character in Sonic the Hedgehog series forever.
Geez this voice acting, two dudes trying their hardest to sound cool. They didn't even get Infinite's personality right. And people were praising this as Neo actually caring about Infinite and not throwing him aside when hes clearly belittling him and sees himself as the man on top. Which Eggman never even did to Infinite in the base game, they both had a level of respect for the other and never indicated once that they were going to betray each other. But y'know screw that right? The dynamic was just thrown out for the sake of another "thing Eggman uses betrays him" plot. This mod is not good lol.

@@dawningheart356 News flash, no one ever said or implied you can't enjoy this or something in spite of its flaws. That same exact argument can be used for vanilla Forces and literally anything. I'm saying and pointing out that it has many issues, some being even worse than Forces like the voice acting because people are acting like this is the best most perfect thing to grace humans.
Infinite had a ton of personality in vanilla Forces, he genuinely had a respect for Eggman, for granting him this kind of power and for what he wanted to achieve. Eggman was powerful, so he took what was his, Infinite related to that. He was threatening and knew Sonic was no match for him with his powers. Even if he was sassy at times towards him, he still had that respect and Eggman had respect for Infinite, he never betrayed him and neither did Infinite ever indicate he was going to betray Eggman either. This mod throws that whole thing out the door for the sake of another "thing Eggman uses betrays him" plot and makes Infinite sound like such a try hard, same with his VA like what is that lol. Sounds like he's trying so hard to be cool and threatening.
