This could not be more accurate. Like everything you said also applies to me
When my son was born he hadn’t peed when we were at the hospital so they wouldn’t release us until he did. The pediatrician finally came to do an ultrasound to see if there was an issue and just when they took off his diaper he peed all over the pediatrician. The doctor was like “well, he seems fine you can all go home now” 🤣
Savage since birth 😂

That is so adorable lmao

I had a girl. No one tells you they bleed the first few days from their lady part because of the mother’s hormones.
I just found that out a few days ago😳 never knew that. Im 28 weeks today with my baby girl
My girl did not bleed, but doctor told me it can happen. So it is not necessary for everyone, every baby is different
Wow this never happened with my baby girl, I would’ve been so scared. I had no idea!
I have 4 girls and they never bleed.
@@LeniceRomney Just wanted to let you know, just in case, once your baby girl is born, she will have some “stuff” (do not remember the word) inside her lady parts, it will go itself during first week. Same advise I got from my doctor when my girl was born. Wipe clean around lady parts only.
"Before your husband tries to take credit for it" Bahahaha!
Ikr😂
Most guys would definitely be like "yeh, that's my boy" 🤣🤣
To avoid getting peed on with your baby boy as soon as you remove the diaper put a baby wipe over his private area to kinda act as a splash guard. Learned that trick from my mom and in all the years that I’ve worked with baby boys I’ve never been peed on
This is what I was taught as well. I can't remember if I learned it from a family member or if it was something i learned from a baby sitting class. But yeah, you have to keep baby boys covered when you change them.
I did this too with all my boys it’s a good idea n works well!! :)
I'm potty training my boy, he missed the toilet... My foot happened to be in the wrong spot... 😭😭😭
I’m due next month thank you I’m going to remember and do this everyday. 👌🏽👌🏽

The urge to pee is encouraged by the sudden rush of cool air. Lift the diaper and immediately drop it back on place.😉

It's still so weird to me that circumcisions are so common in America! In the UK most boys are left in tact unless there's a religious or medical reason that requires circumcision. It's so not a thing here that it's not even a consideration or conversation!
Yep. Most kids in the UK learn about circumscion around 11-13 in religious studies class. I remember all the boys in my class being particularly horrified, and when my younger brother learnt about it he shared his shock with my mum 😂
Same situation in Germany
It is really only common in the US, the rest of the world doesn’t circumcise their boys... except for religion... something like 80% of the male population isn’t circumcised
Yeah it's really rare in New Zealand too.
Rare in Australia too
im not a girl and im not having a kid why was this reccomended to me
Because it’s important for everyone to kinda know and learn! Nothing wrong with it!
Well if you ended up here, it seems CZcams knows you better than you know yourself Hm? XD
It doesnt matter if you're a girl or not. This is something that everyone should learn
Even if so its still interesting to know
As a mom of both, cleaning up boys after they poop is much harder, there is so many spots it hides!! Also I have been peed in by both kids! Did not expect to be peed on by a girl, and my daughter thinks farts are hilarious but she definitely gets that from her dad!
My girl has always thought farts are hilarious too! If she farts or hears somebody else fart she blows a raspberry and laughs hysterically (she's 16 months).
Ugh!!! Both girls and boy seem to see daddies as hilarious.
I was just told earlier from my mom that I peed on her as a baby 😂
@Jamie Leech lol I have two daughters and a son and in my experience there was more places I had to double check with him I wouldn’t think of with my daughters.
Did you circumcise ? cleaning after that hard
"before your partner starts taking credit for that" LOL!!!
Hi Nicole! For baby boys you NEVER pull the skin back!!! When a baby is born the foreskin is fused to the head. The foreskin does not retract until around puberty for some it may be a little sooner. It’s very important that people are aware because doing so prematurely can cause complications for young boys.
Your Whole Baby and Saving Sons are also good websites to visit for info on intact care. After 2 boys, I can say that having intact boys is super easy and I’m so glad that I did my research on this!
Thanks hun! Just saw another comment about this and wasn’t sure so I removed that part from the video! 🧡
@@tayberjk2559 having intact boys is also normal, people arent meant to be mutilating their babies
D H I totally agree, I think it’s awful and that’s why I kept my babies whole and perfect just as they should be.

This is such a great video and resource as well. People think it doesn’t happen and unfortunately is very common.
a tip for being peed on
i actually saw this on tiktok ( dont judge xDD )
they dont pee because you are changing the diaper, they pee because they are getting cold
so if you take a wet cold washcloth and place it on his belly, he pees before you change the diaper
why do i know this information when i dont want kids ? idk i am a fountain of wisdom that is useless to me xD
FUN FACT! Baby boys pee when you take the diaper off because they get cold, and can't control themselves (from what I heard). To prevent them peeing on you just lay a clean, wet rag or towel on his stomach before you change his diaper to make him cold, and he will pee before you change his diaper! Super cool!
Boys are harder to clean....got 2of each
The peeing thing happens exactly the same from girls ...
I learned so much from this video! Thank you so much! I am 13 weeks pregnant with my first baby, a boy and I am super happy to welcome him to the world. It's nice to know these things that I've never heard before.
I have babysat for YEARS for kids of all ages and I have to say, it’s equally as easy/ difficult to change a boy or girl diaper, but I get more nervous about girls because there’s a much high risk of them getting an infection if you don’t get it cleaned correctly, whereas with boys, it’s generally not as big of an issue because it’s more external parts

the oldest recorded joke known is a fart joke.... specifically about how it is rude for women to fart in front of men. So, not liking toilet humor is such a mood and something shared in common with people that lived 4000 years ago.
Found this in recommendation but staying either way. Anyone else?
Girl you have perfect timing. I'll be having my twin boys in the next few weeks, and have no clue what to expect! Thank you!
Very accurate information. I always passed a baby wipe under his bellybutton, wait few seconds and then start with diaper change. That will make him pee if he needs to.
We never taught him but our baby boy laughs every time we fart....🤦🏼♀️😂
@@amethystflower8799 hahahaha, thanks for that comment! Guessing you're a not a parent then??

I love this!! I’m a girl mom so far but this is info I would love to refer to if I ever have a baby boy.
Also tidbit, baby girls can have heightened hormones from mommy when born and this can result in some temporary bloody discharge after birth which isn’t talked about and can scare some moms. Swollen vulvas and breast tissue too!
This is good to know!
yup...I freaked out with my baby girl...
baby girls do hve a white discharge like adults...n that gets stuck in between the outer n inner lip...WHICH I DISNT KNOW...i thot it ws the white thing dats stuck to a baby when its born 🤯
Omg yes I freaked out. I was like woah
YES! I experienced this. A day after my daughter was born and we were changing her diaper, we noticed some weird vaginal discharge that we were quite alarmed by since I had never heard about it. We dialed the nurse immediately 😂 and then she just came by and just brushed off our worries haha and explained it’s just from the hormones.
This happened with my daughter and we freaked out!
Girls can be enlarged at birth too from the mothers hormones. They can also have some discharge for a couple of days too.
Absolutely thank you for explaining this I was ITCHING my skin
They can also possibly have a period as well

I had a girl first and was scared when I found out my second was a boy. All my boy mom friends said boys are easier. Let me tell you they are wrong. Diaper changes are 50x harder than a girl. I was never peed on by my daughter. As a toddler my son is 100x more wild and messy than my daughter ever was. Baby girls are so much easier than baby boys.
Maybe as they’re younger but I’ve heard when they hit teenage years then girls are more difficult 😬😬😬
Same, girl, same! 🙌 My son peed on everything the first few months lol! And he’s 1,000 times worse than my daughter was as a toddler!

I just found out years that baby #2 is a boy and I just found you today! This is perfect! Thank youu
My daughter laughed so hard everytime she farts. Farts really are just funny.
For the most part girls under 5 years old will think it’s hilarious as they grow it’s less funny lol while boys keep it going for a lot longer
@@SuperVandal101 hahahaha oh yes! This is so true. I have 4 brothers and 1 sister. The trend is there for sure.
My now adult daughter, and her father had real giggle fest over farts at diaper change time. On sticky poop thing, my mom was oldest of 6. Her brother was born when she was in high school, and mother in law had 4 boys. Lots if help. Keep an extra diaper to put on top of wee wee to prevent wee wee in the face. Another was a very wet warm, thin wash cloth to wash boy parts. Wet wipes are often not wet enough for that

Kids if Bilingual households also start talking later on but when they do it’s both languages. My family members have English / Korean and the babies just have more to process before talking haha.
Please don’t spread misinformation. Studies that state that are outdated and were used in attempts to convince immigrants to solely speak English.
@Sapphire having friends with a baby learning each parents language, they just talk to him in each or their own language. What I've read on the subject (as my partner is also from a different country than I) that seems to be the best way to do it. The baby will maybe in the beginning have a mix-matched language but later will differentiate between them

“Bathroom humor” is not just a boy thing. There are plenty of women and girls who find it funny as well.
My aunt is a big bathroom humor fan lol, but I saw more guys who love that type of joke than girls.
@@myheartwillstopinjoy8142 yeah I’m kind of a “bathroom humor” chick and idk why, it’s mostly because my dad encourages it when we are hanging out.
@@caracalcontinuum3118 well, we pick up the sense of humor of people we hang out with most
The women in my family...oh boy...compared to them, you’d think my dad was a prude lol. 😂
Nothing funnier than a fart
I’ve had 2 boys and a girl and I’m currently pregnant with a girl, the one thing about girls is that they can get poop inside of them so making sure everything is nice and clean is very important.
When I had my daughter i was always so worried about her getting poop in the privates I would always make sure to clean her very well and even clean very carefully with a qtip when it was runny poop
I was concerned too with my daughter about the poop getting in the vaginal opening so I was careful to clean it out. Wish I’d known then that the vagina opening is very shallow in baby girls. The vagina is not fully developed. So a little poop on the outside isn’t really going to go anywhere. It will be washed away next time they pee but try to clean it as much as possible.
Oh yeah this is so true! Especially when my daughter sits in it, it’s hard to make sure sure nothing gets....inside hahaha
I grew up with 3 bros and bathroom humor is all the rage haha I've been married almost 4 years and bathroom humor has become an important part of our conversations both annoying and hilarous hahahahaha
I also think it’s hilarious. I love bathroom humor.
i’m having a baby boy in 2 months and my first baby was a girl so i never knew that it was so different. this video is so helpful!
Im due march 12th 2021 with my first and hes a boy im 20 and i didnt know alot of these either snd neither did my fiance lol
Love this video! About developing language skills, it is different per child. The boy I babysit started talking when he was about 6 months. His first word was "bloem" which translates to flower 🌼
You definitely don't need to circumcise, if you clean them and teach them to clean properly they'll be fine, they'll probably get an infection at some point if they stay in daycare because they might forget to clean them right but just keep an eye on them, you don't wanna do it and hurt them in the long run if the procedure or healing goes wrong
I am intact my mother made the right choice not circumcised me you are right as long as you properly clean it it will not getting infection or smell
Until puberty I don't think most can even pull their foreskin back, and before that happens it doesn't need to be cleaned, forcing it back can cause a lot of damage (This is what I've experienced and heard at least)
If your daycare isn't cleaning your child that's a seperate issue in itself. I'm anti circumcision, but it's a nursery or daycares job to clean the children. That's negligence
My dad had problems with his extra skin and it was tight and painful. So he had to get a circumcision at 16. My parents drilled it into my head. And it could be hereditary. My nephew didn't get a circumcision and he is having the same problem my dad did.
So I'm glad we did that and also hospital find it easier when they are circumcised cause of the catheter.
@@sromero6738 FYI is not extra skin it is called foreskin

Omg super helpful video! I’m a month away from having my first baby (boy) and was clueless about so many of these points!
Thank you so much for making this video! I’m having a boy in April and I especially didn’t know about the first topic!
Toddler and preschool boys are freaking nuts. We have 2/3 boys and 1/3 girls in the toddler room at the daycare and let me tell you, nothing can prepare you for the crazy!

Lmao the ad I got
It went “Speaking of diaper changes... PAMPERS”
Just got a random pampers ad in the middle of the sentence
I’m a mom of 3! My first 2 were girls, and I had my boy in August. I definitely agree with diaper changes! Changing my sons diaper is WAY HARDER, than changing my girls, even with all the folds lol. PLUS the surprise of getting peed on was not fun lol.
Im so glad I stumbled upon this video. It was very informative, i learned so many new things and how to handle those situations. Thank you so much 🙏🏽 You should do more of these.
Great video. I’m expecting my first child, a boy, this year so this was good to note. I really appreciate that you did your research 😊
Coming from a big family with mixed genders and working in childcare really taught me a lot about the differences between boys and girls. My husband has only brothers but he still got peed on whilst I would open the nappy and quickly cover him back up with it. It lets air hit it which triggers a pee and never been peed on!
A friend and I were discussing the behavioural differences between boys and girls and we had read a study that shows that people tend to give slightly more attention to girls than boys as they’re seen as “weaker” than the boys. This can lead to speaking a little bit later in development and less empathy.
After this discussion, I made sure that I didn’t show him any less attention than if he was a girl. He’s now 13 months who is very empathic, sweet and has a decent vocabulary range.
And yeah boy nappies are more difficult, testicles are annoying to clean especially since they LOVE to touch their bits every single time they’re out
Wrong...
Boys cannot empathize... It's up to you to teach them to not hurt women so they grow up to be gentlemen and not rapers and child molesters!
Do not get them circumcised, it is horrible.
Agreed. It's really barbaric and I'm surprised it's still authorised. It's child abuse and unless there's a good medical reason it shouldn't be a thing.
Erm it significantly lowers risk of infections
@@crystalrock1003 says who? People who haven't heard of this great invention called soap?
In Europe nobody gets circumcised and I have literally heard of nobody having trouble in that area.
We would recoil in shock if a doctor suggested FGM for baby girls. Why is it ok for boys?
@@crystalrock1003 it truly doesn’t. There’s an infinitesimal decrease in risk of UTIs for baby boys if they are circumcised. But baby girls have a much higher UTI risk than any boy, circumcised or not. We don’t circumcise baby girls in America, but that infection logic would suggest we should. Obviously it’s ludicrous, so why is it OK for boys?
Thank you for this! I have one daughter and I’m expecting my first son and even though I’m a mom already I feel nervous about all the things I don’t know about boys. This was really helpful!
The bathroom humor is so spot on! My bf thinks it’s so funny and now that we are expecting a boy in 3 months I was wondering what life would look like living with two boys. Looks like the bathroom humor won’t be stopping anytime soon! 😫
Great video but I just wanted to add to your circumcision rate you mentioned. I highly suggest people actually look at their state. My state where I live only has a circumcision rate of 10% in 2020! While a state like West Virginia with the highest rate of 91% in 2020. Overall the average I think it fell to 56% . Circumcision rate is actually falling quite a bit year by year. And Its expected to keep falling. Keep that in mind too!
Oh very interesting that each state is different! Good to know I appreciate you sharing. I also know that in Europe it's wayyy lower!
@@Nicolelelagreen yeah the only people who get circumstated here are either strict religious people (mostly immigrants from Islamic countries) or because of medical reasons.
There is no reason to take away this important decision from your kid. It has a lot of disadvantages
If I ever have a son I wouldn’t want him to be circumcised, but if it was medically necessary then yes
You should definitely get him circumcised he’ll thank you, it’s unhygienic because so much disgusting bacteria can be stuck under the foreskin
@@Euphoric_nails Such nonsense! You will have problems to find another first world country where parents mutilate their children so often for no medical reason. The area can be cleaned as easily as any other part of the body.
@@Euphoric_nails you literally pull it back when it separates from the head and I’m pretty sure water cleans it(that is what I have been told)
Edit; plus I live in England where you only have it for medical or religious reasons, and I’m not doing it for religious reasons because I’m not religious
If I done after birth the doctors literally cut off a piece of your babies skin with out any pain killers. It's wrong and cruel!

Also, be prepared for the same question "are you gonna have him circumcised " asked by almost every Dr, nurse, pediatrician etc. For about 2 months after he was born.
It's almost like American drs. And nurses have a fetish of cutting healthy tissue and 20,000 nerves off of our boys genitals
@@shanderadavis2641 It’s not a fetish, it’s just how they were taught in school and in practice. They genuinely think it’s what’s best. Many schools and textbooks still (falsely) teach that it has medical benefits. Unfortunately, it’s common for much of a doctor or nurse’s clinical training/observation/shadowing/teaching to be done by much older superiors who still abide by “old school” medical practices, even if those practices have been disproven or found to not be the best option by recent studies and medical journals. Circumcision has long been taught to be what’s medically best, and it’s only more recently in the US that people have finally started recognizing that for the vast majority of males it isn’t what’s best and it isn’t medically necessary. Hopefully as the percentage of circumcised boys continues to decrease, we’ll see more of a positive, more fact focused, shift in the medical field on the topic, rather than the current false misconceptions still being taught to healthcare workers as fact.
My midwife asked me once’s 😅
Yes! This really kind of frustrated me. We decided not to circumcise out son and we were always told how it was totally fine. But at the same time the constant asking about it again and again after the fact kind of feels “judgy”. Like they are trying to subtly influence you to do it.
I’m 5 months pregnant with a son and I love the way you explain everything it is so helpful. And I love your attitude so positive ❤
Just found your channel and found this video super informative. I’m 13wks and just found out I’m having a boy! Super excited and ready to learn all that I can to help prepare lol
Before u change his diaper put a cool wipe on his tummy so he goes pee before U change him
Or put one over his "turtle" so if he does pee it don't go everywhere. Or the peeper tent things
I was always told boys did this but my son never did. He's potty trained for a couple years now so but he never ever peed while getting changed. My daughter did though...
It's to do with the cold shock
Ești o scumpică, fiți binecuvântați cu toții 🙏❤️
*first time here. took a lil peek of your channel, i’m staying.* 🥰

One time my babies tinny thing was upside while cleaning him..and he peed all over himself 🥺 loo even went on his face ,eyes may be mouth ...i felt sooo soo bad and guilty of being such a bad mother...but then second day when i told my mom she laughed and said its ok it probably happens with every single baby boy
Right when she said "speaking of changing" a pampers commercial came up🤣
Like you, I have 5 sisters, all my cousins are girls, and with Covid I haven't been able to spend much time with my infant nephews. I have a 2 year old daughter and now I am expecting a baby boy at the end of May! I have been SO nervous about having a boy, because I have no experience! Thanks for the head's up about this stuff! Very helpful info
Great video, definitely taught me some things! I’m 21, and haven’t had kids yet but I feel I might in the next couple years :)
Mom of 3 boys and these are very accurate lol!

I have a daughter, almost 16 months, and she enjoys making me laugh and farts on purpose and loud 🤣🤣🙈 and girls moms also get peed on. She even did a number 2 on my lap after giving her a bath while drying her hair. Love this video, made me laugh so hard 🤣🤣 your boy is sooo cute 🥰
So helpful girl!!! I have a 3 year old little girl, and have always been raised with girls, so I’m terrified as I am 30 weeks with my son. Thank you! I didn’t know a lot of this!
