At the end of this video I was worried that this story was going to have a sad twist after everything was going right, but thank goodness this story ended up having a positive ending. Lovely! This story has an interesting idea, and seems great.

At first, it was like the story was written badly with the dumb idea of time stopping. But then, as the story slowly goes on, it gets emotional and warms your heart. So beautiful!

Me too. It's literally the plot of a Fringe episode. Weird shit happens around the main characters and then they find out it's because of a guy who resets time so he can find out how to cure his wife. It's from Season 4 I think
Personally, I would prefer if you guys read the manga with is titled "Hatsukoi Loss Time" which is 9 chapters long. Recently red it and it was so good, but if you prefer movie then go for it, it's both good but to my liking, manga is better

physics professor back, hmmm.. ok i'm halfway thru the movie recap, let me watch the movie fully later this week (it actually seems very good) and i'll get back to you all on whether such event could be plausible or not. now, as far as time LOOPs go:
as i had previously mentioned on another movie recap, time travel is simply NOT possible by the laws of our universe. what could be possible, is say there was someone with the ability to control time, what they would be limited to is to REWIND, and then press play again, and therefore change the outcome. time is linearly oriented, such as it can only go forward or backward, but there aren't any intervals per se. so: it's as if you had a movie, u can pause, play, or rewind, but you can NOT skip to "x" minutes. it's like a VCR player essentially. only forward or backwards, but no skipping.
another example for video gamers, and one that many of my students find more relatable, is u canNOT go back to a previous save to change the outcome. so then you may ask,
"how come u can rewind, and change the outcome, but u can not "skip/teleport"travel" back to a previous "save" and not change it also?"
it goes back to time and space only moving in one direction at a given time, so u can play forward where outcomes will occur, since A->B where A is the premises and B is the outcome, and you have conditions such as where under the circumstances B is given, then A occurs,
and you're able to rewind this, to get a different outcome. but you can NOT teleport/time loop/time travel.
it's an extremely broad concept to explain and me and several colleagues are always thinking on the easiest way to explain time travel and time stopping concepts in the shortest versions possible.
in sum: time stopping possible? yes, absolutely. being able to alter outcomes if going BACKWARDS (rewinding from point B) in time? yes, absolutely possible. going BACK in time (skipping over to A) to change outcome (B), NOT possible.

The way I see it...it's not at all a science movie (like "Mars" or the others) rather it's a romance comedy where time travel is only used as a plot device for story telling furthering the plot, character development and conflict resolution.
The time travel here isn't the most important aspect of the story...the focus is on the relationships between the characters.
We can ignore the painfully obvious mistakes the writers or author of the original story made because they likely weren't experts or just didn't care about that.
But stopping time would mean basically freezing everything down to atoms...
Even light wouldn't be able to travel should that happen.

If physics would work in movies, he wouldnt be able to move and die after a short time because air stopped in time too. And if not, he burns because he is too fast. And if not, his clothes stop and he cant move again, and if not, once he moves an object, It should travel faster than light and burn once he touches it or it just doesnt move.
Once i learn that air is made of a very disperse molecules instead of simply "empty space", those time stop and super speed abilities becomes weird. Also when i realized that earth spin, orbit around the sun, while the solar system also spin and rotating around the milky way, those warp, teleport, and precise spatial manipulation abilities becomes weird too. Then there is also that video in youtube explaining how superman must be having a very hard life because a slight change in his power output can kill anyone and broke anything.
But that's not fun, so why dont we just tough of it like those superpower movies?

You're trying to make sense over a magic system that was there just to make wonders, man. This is soft magic system, not hard magic one. Even hard magic one would make almost zero sense with physics, because its all about 'super'natural and 'super'human phenomenon.
Its show in the movie and in his video that everything they touch inherits their powers, meaning they aren't moving outside of the stopped time but inside, in other words everything is normal once they touch it. This is the case for practically every "stop time" power. My teacher from a while back told me once... "Let your thoughts come and go, if you focus too much on your thought, you lose focus on everything outside that thought." This is one of those moments 💀
If physics would work in movies, there would be no time stop. The fact that you accepted that time stop can work already makes everything else about the premise plausible.
@@jonathanjoestar6729 Technically, even that premise doesn't work because they would not be able to see or breathe. Light could never reach them, they would have to walk at light to see things and it would have to be at a very fast speed because the flux of photons will not be enough at slower speeds. And if everything that gets touched will resume its time, then all the air he breathes out will just restart everything around him and expand outwards exponentially as the air molecules resume newer molecules.
