I literally finished it a couple of hours ago and like... ur gonna come for me lol, but like, I didn't get all the hype???? I really liked the books and all but I didn't cry or anything. I was sad for Nina's loss and happy for Inej, and liked the characters and the plot, but it wasn't emotionally wrecking xd. I also wished we'd gotten more Kaz+Inej.

I love SJM's books so much, they're literally life. Definitely my favorite books by far but I also really loved An Ember in the Ashes, Six of Crows, and Kiss of Deception.
Caraval was one of the few books I've read in my whole life that had a plot I could not predict. I could NOT predict that ending! And Stephanie Garber is such a creative writer.
Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom are my absolute faves! And I screamed when you mentioned The Night Circus because that's the book that got me into reading. I've read it like 5 times😂
Yass!!! I love the raven cycle series so much. I’m still so lost in their world and Ronan is always my favorite character, my favorite in the whole entire YA books 🖤💙
Don't travel with them too much. I like traveling with paperbacks (in the train or on holiday, whatever) because they are a lot lighter than hardbacks, but the paperbacks I own that I've travelled with are the ones that are effed up.
I love Caraval! I wasn't much of a reader before I read it but it really opened my eyes to the reading world. As much as I love Caraval, the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, more specifically A Court of Mist and Fury, are my favorite books I have ever read. Btw I love you and your channel.

I recently read Snow Like Ashes and I really enjoyed it. I also loved the concept of the continent being split into Rhythms (Kingdoms that go through all the seasons like we do) and Seasons. (Kingdomes that are eternally in one season). I'm looking forward to reading the other two books. I think if I lived in that world I'd want to live in Autumn.

just a heads up !!! if you read crooked kingdom (the sequel to six of crows) it spoils the ending of the grisha trilogy !! which means you shouldn't read it if you want to read the grisha trilogy but if you don't want to then like Hailey said you can still get whats going on
I would definitely suggest reading the Grisha Trilogy before the Six of Crows duology if one is planning on reading both series regardless, because Six of Crows has so many easter eggs and nods towards the events of the Grisha trilogy and it tells so many stories of what happened to characters from the first series in the duology. It'd be such a shame to not be able to pick up on those things as well because one chose to read the Six of Crows duology first.
En Ember in the Ashes is super high on my tbr so I really hope to get to it soon! It has literally been on my shelf since it was released... Love these recommendations! I listened to The Raven Boys on audiobook but I really didn't enjoy it, but I think that was mainly because of the narrator, so I'll probably just reread a physical copy, because it does really sound like a book series I'd enjoy. Great video!
Hailey, here's a story you might like. So, I was studying today and, at some point, I needed a break. And also I was super nervous about the exams that are coming in the next week. So I decided to take a walk, to calm down. And of course I ended up in a bookstore. And there I found this cute edition of all of Lewis Carroll's works. So I had to buy it, because, after watching some of your videos, I have decided to give "Alice's adventures in Wonderland" another chance and couldn't because I had an ugly edition. So I guess I'll read Alice.
I'm a huge fantasy reader, but not a huge YA reader - so I will definitely check some of these out. The Raven Boys has been on my TBR for awhile, however I just haven't felt like committing to the series yet! I actually didn't even know it was YA. Not a YA fantasy, more of a dark YA science fiction/thriller - but I REALLY recommend Megan Shepherd's The Madman's Daughter trilogy! One of the best YA trilogies I have read. It's mainly based of off H. G. Wells's The Island of Dr. Moreau (one of my all time fav books), and later aspects based on Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde and Frankenstein.
I actually read a Book of Spirits and Thieves before Falling Kingdoms and I'm so glad I did. It was so cool to have a sort of continuation of the future of Mytica and idk lol.
My favourite genre is Fantasy because I love the fact that it sometimes will have a bit of action. E. G. Frost blood trilogy by Elly Blake. What book would you never get rid of just because it's your most favourite book. ❤️You and your channel

Hi, I'm new to booktube and looking to build my TBR for 2021! I have decided to read books that came out when I was in college 2012-2015 and this list has most of the books I'm interested in! So apparently I'm at least 3 years behind in the reading world (Thats being generous)! My question is do you update your videos every few years when new series come out?
I'm not really into fantasies. I'm more of a contemporary fluff reader. But I wanted to explore more genres so I forced myself to read one of your recommendations. I picked The Raven Boys and I LOVED IT. But I couldn't get myself to read the next book in the Raven cycle bc i was shipping Blue and Adam w all my heart. But I know they won't end up together and it just breaks my heart. I loved how this book was kinda creepy with all those rituals and spirits and yeah the truth about Noah was mindblowing.
I find it difficult to read fantasies bc the whole idea of romance is like a fantasy to me cause I dont believe in love irl. Fantasy books are too much of a fantasy for me so it's kinda overwhelming to read them. But will definitely read more Fantasy books! I love your recommendations!!!

Harry Potter isn't really YA fantasy.. It's considered to be for younger readers:))
