The Colts should be a top 3-6 team in the AFC this season if healthy. I know the pass rush was upgraded however I am really concerned about the secondary. Is there any chance Gilmore could come back?
Seems unlikely. He asked for a trade, and I'm guessing the reason he asked has been been resolved.
I’m concerned about linebacker depth and I haven’t really heard many people address it. What happens if Speed or Franklin gets hurt?
They will be fine. Just as Speed was able to replace a faltering Leonard, there will be a linebacker ready to step in for either Franklin or Speed.
Haliburton Siakam Mathurin Nesmith Turner McConnell & Nembhard are their best players. I think they should explore a trade for Mikal Bridges from the Nets who’s only making around $20M/yr for the next 2 seasons. He’d make them a contender for 2nd best team in the East so long as Haliburton Nembhard & Mathurin continue improving with age. Bridges is one of the premier perimeter defenders in the league + he can score.
Turner for Bridges is cool by me.

He is a monster capable of knocking multiple defenders down on a single play.
Man the WNBA is tough to watch. They cant shoot, they cannot make layups, they cant make foul shots, theres no dunks, no blocks. What the hell was that shit show last night.
It's surprising how different the WNBA is from women's college basketball. I really enjoy the college game, while the WNBA is a tough watch.

Saw a recent AR interview where he discussed all the injuries he’s already had throughout his college and pro career. I’d bet money Flacco ends up playing more snaps than Richardson this year unfortunately
and in HS too! I am not sold on AR. I hope im wrong but think youre right. Flacco is NOT the worst option tho! he played lights out in the last half of the season

@@KentSterling well Strausser certainly was…and our lineman were certainly ok with standing around a fallen comrade without even bothering to help him up….(nick Foles) while Thibedaux does snow angels on the ground next to his fallen body…….Strausser presided over regression as well as players. That were once called great at their position and “tough” over turning into soft cowards….it was embarrassing…..i guess “coaching”? Makes all the difference? I mean in 2022….Q was getting RUN OVER by people (yet still making the popularity contest Pro bowl….(no idea how)…..and in 2023 we all of a sudden became better…..I guess it must be coaching. Strausser must have been teaching them to be wimp cowards….but I am thankful….I mean with an O line like the one we have you better THANK GOD AR CAN USE HIS LEGS…..and he WILL….and if you sit there and say you’d LIKE him to NOT and just stand in there, well SIR you are not very concerned (as much as you think you are) about his health….I mean the same guys that Matt Ryan called a “shit show” and every QB on our roster was planted on t heir ass all game long…..you actually want AR to STAND behind cement footed and never take off running….or take a hand off, so that at least he isnt blind sided and partially paralyzed momentarily like Nick Foles was…????/ dude……Tony Sparano JR better be JESUS if THAT is really what you are wanting.
Colts offense improves only if Richardson plays every game. Defense has gotten worse in my opinion. I base that going against quarterbacks in our division. Lawrence and Stroud get rid of the ball really fast, within the first two seconds. I get the D line has improved, but the ball will be gone by the time they get to the QB. Speed and Franklin are not good pass coverage linebackers. And we all know how medicore Kenny and the secondary play. We still have lots of questions, the Texans and Jaguars not so much. Titans have picked up great players, and we should not sleep on them. Bradley has a terrible defensive scheme and i believe it will hurt the team and they will fire him finally when the season is over. We might still be a season away, although we should compete this year if and only if Richardson stays healthy.
And that is true for almost every team - the part about the starting QB. The defense shouldn't be worse with every starter back - and tahe addition of Latu and Davis. Not sure whethewr they will be better either.
@KentSterling the 28th ranked defense along with Gus Bradley's defense, and running it back with the same players is a recipe for disaster. I like Jaylon Jones and hoping Rodney Thomas II has a bounce back year, but we need to stop acting like Nick Cross should not be on the field starting over Blackmon. Brents is questionable, and so is Flowers and Kenny. This team needs to start creating turnovers and as many years Speed and Franklin played with Leonard, they do not create turnovers. Steichen should have made that coaching change...two years of a rookie QB contract wasted. It seems like Richardson's family is the only ones benefitting from him being drafted besides the division rivals
Why have the Colts not improved the defensive secondary? One of the worst groups in the league last year.
What they say is that Brents and Jones were playing well at the end of the season, and they like Flowers coming back from the injury. Bradley appears to not be sold on Cross, which would appear wise. I expect them to sign a safety.
Nelson looks 50 years old and out of shape.
If you see Quenton out and about, mention that to him.

That’s the problem with these players getting their bags…….then t hey have no motivation to get back to work……..it really has zero to do with their health. Life. Etc……no matter what they say……they have. A great life. And rehab? A great player spends just as much time at teh gym when healthy as they do in rehab when they re injured…….and THEN they get in their sports car or on their boat and go enjoy life…….so please….
Working out and rehabbing are entirely different processes - expecially from a phychological perspective.
@@KentSterling of course they are. But th athlete speaks about how their lives are ruined by rehabbing. “All the time” please……their lives are the same. They just aren’t playing football……(but they are still being PAID)…………..
