Now all we need is the prequel, 'A snob in Court', to explain how the snob ended up in prison
I bet he was just contesting a parking ticket and annoyed the magistrate so much he got 10 years.
All he needs it to talk like that to the judge. He could be just a spectator or witness at the court.

I'm genuinely surprised how far away he managed to look. The dining hall didn't look that deep until Arms looked small in the corner.
I feel like they should have their own Hall of Fame for their characters. All of them are just hilarious.
They could use community polls and collect the results to make a "Top 10 Characters As Voted By The Fans" video.

My favourite snob sketch so far. I was trying to not make any noise to not wake up my still sleeping friends. The laughing out loud will have made it harder The snob gets more likeable as the sketches progress, I am starting to really quite like him Also, in this sketch, you deserve your names: Foil is the perfect comedic foil, with the best annoyed face and reasonable interest in food, Arms brings the physical comedy, looming in the background and with a hint of brutality, and Hog hogs the limelight with the wonderful snob. Thanks for the sketch lads!

Being partly deaf and depending on hearing aides as a non native English speaker I wanna give a shout out to the subtitles, thanks guys !

Yes! I'm always so grateful for the subtitles. My family has a history of hearing impairments and I'm a foreign speaker and used to teach at a school for the deaf. It's amazing that they include them and the fans translate them into different languages as well. It's so welcoming and inclusive. 🌻

I’m hearing impaired so always watch with sound and subtitles. The subtitles are as funny as the sketches. If you haven’t seen the Regional Accent Discrimination one yet, I highly recommend it. Especially the subtitles for the Co. Kerry accent 🤣
I love how the Snob has made such a comeback! Like last year we never talked about him. He was just a character from an old sketch. For some reason people started bringing him up and then bam, we got a sketch and now we have a series! He's gonna be as big as Anne, Oisin and Barry soon! Congratulations Mr Snob!

Truely a renascence of this complex gentleman. His forcibly proffered perspective on the ordinary aspects of life brings both entertainment and pleasure to one's self.
So True! He has gone up there as one of the most memorable FAH characters. This SNOB could be everywhere. I wonder where we'll see him next 😆

Loving how Arms just stands in the background then - probably decides he's had enough of the BS and disguises himself as an inmate to get rid of Hog!

@@tinaperez7393 I could not agree more. Clearly the sketch is an homage to the short stories of Guy de Maupassant (you're probably aware of his work even if you didn't know he was the author, Boule de Suif perchance?).

*= If one name-drops, though, they just better be prepared to back it up with actually knowing the work being referenced of course. That way there might be the smallest smidgeon, or soupçon, as it were, of something at least potentially relevant and interesting in having mentioned it.

The Snob is out of touch with reality and oblivious to how much his pretentiousness annoys other people, but Hog makes this appear almost as a charming naïveté. Foil truly lives up to his name here, responding to the impossible Snob with eloquent facial expressions of mingled astonishment, disbelief, frustration, and repressed rage. And the sketch wouldn't be complete without Arms' cameos as a guard and of course the mysterious prisoner whose attack on the Snob brings this tiny drama to its end!

What I love about it is that it was still made differently from what we (or at least I) was expecting. I thought it it would be part of the annoying prison but this is much better!

I love this series with the Snob. The locations where he appears all seem normal at first and now he's in prison?? I need to see more wacky locations? Where will we find him next? In a loo? In a children's book store, examining the thoughts behind the classics like Humpty Dumpty?

This was very tense. I kept hoping that he would be able to keep his cool and keep his good behaviour! As it went on; it became more and more tense. I was so relieved when the snob was shanked! Whew!
I’d love them to get on the ‘telly’ but I admire them so, so, SO much for all they do on their own, it’s almost ethereal how they manage the sets and everything, I don’t know how they do it, they’re like wizards!
They basically have such a brilliant catalogue of characters for a sketch show though, it would be almost ready to go. I always imagine it as an Irish League of Gentlemen. It would be great to see! 💙

so the snob had to go to prison for crawling under the cinema seats to avoid paying for another ticket? Feels like excessive punishment. Also, I'm surprised that he's in a normal prison and not the one for annoying people. :)
The excessive punishment wasn't for getting caught in the cinema. I imagine that it was him defending himself in court afterwards.

I guess I usually have to watch your sketches more than once (and by that I meant...15x at least 😁) and still, I would notice something every single time. Like now, which is probably my 14th viewing, did I only notice Foil breaking character at 01:09 during the highlighting of prose part. Of course, props to you, Dear Video Editor 😂 And not to put pressure on you, Arms, but we want some outtakes on Patreon, or here, or whichever platform you prefer 😆🤣😁
