Very glad to see you on the CZcamss again Denise. Oh the curve balls (and fastballs) that life can throw at us. To quote a line from Batman, "Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up." I for one am always up for hearing the challenges friends are facing. I think it makes us all feel less alone in our struggles. You don't over share and thats also to your credit. Great job on the Cockatoo. Such nice subtlety in those bright feathers. Good luck with the class. I'm sure it'll be great.

Great to see you back. I will watch your Skillshare class as soon as I can. I’m getting ready to have a kidney removed in the next week or so. Hopefully I’ll find time to paint while I’m recovering. I watched your sketchbook review and bought the Etchr mixed media 100% cotton and I love it. I’m doing an endangered species series in it.

a while back you said that you just might mcreate a video of "vintage watercolors", any idea when we might see it since it would be super informative and interesting if YOU did so.
I still would love to! I bought so many vintage tins over three years ago, but the last two years have just been brutal. I'm looking to change my living situation soon and hope to be more productive in the second half of the year!

Hello, I wonder what happened to your porcelain studio palette that you had filled quite an amount of paint. Did you finish it? Did you enjoy while using it? :)
I still have and use it! Some colors are still the originals pours, while others have had to be refilled or swapped out for new choices :)

Who is Cricket and can we see her? What is the white paint that you are using for the details at the end?
Denise, please tell me, is it possible to paint on the reverse side of this sketchbook? In Hahnemühle 250gm the page gets wet through and the art work on the back can be ruined (I don't use very much water) this does not seem to happen in my Etchr 230gm sketchbook, although it is thinner. And this sketchbook has 300 gm, so I hope to use all of its pages. Thank you so much for you art , position, for everything! Bless you❤️
I paint on both sides! The back will be a little wavy, but it's still tolerable and doesn't bleed through.
