Thorne see competition. It was her first assignment and she wanted to be the reason for it's success. Instead she got shown up and the only person she considers family is acting strange. She's known him for 7 years and they've been close (in her eyes) for 2 of those years. He's actions aren't like the man she knows.
I loved the tension building from the start of the episode. The longer they are together in the Civic Republic the higher the risk of them being found out. With Jadis, Thorne and Beale on Rick’s case and him trying to keep Michonne and the people back home safe, the pressure intensifies. Rick is torn, he knows he can’t leave without risking the lives of everyone he loves. The final scene when the pot has truly boiled over, Michonne pulling them out of the helicopter makes sense, she knows in that moment there is no other way. I look forward to next weeks reaction. You could probably say that Pearl is becoming a "Thorn" to our the GOAT Rick Grimes. I dunno about you but her last name speaks F O R E S H A D O W I N G. I can now feel like something's really, really wrong with Thorne. She's getting left-out thanks to our zombie-killing mommy badass mofo Michonne and attachment to Rick, afterall Rick's her waifu goddamnit. One thing it clicked on me is that Thorn is becoming like Shane. If you remember all the way back in Season 1 Shane had Rick in his sights of his shotgun and Dale just stood there in the forest without saying a word. This very much parallels it and making as a callback to that scene. This situation has come to this. Rick has become Lori, Michonne has become Rick and Thorne becomes Shane. This is about to get really complicated
I swear man every time Jadis threatens Rick and his family, her chances of survival shrinks down by a 1000% and how many times these types of folks threatening Rick? It doesn't end well who fucks with the wrong people hahaha.
It's about fucking time Rick says something that i could say the same thing for all of us. Jadis really got herself a shitty haircut and be acting sassy back at Jadis. Anyways Rick's still gonna kill her. Not today, not tomorrow and he will and yet we can all wait and see.
Something tells me Rick MAY or MAY NOT kill Thorne but if it comes to that? I can think of Rick killing Thorne BUT the same way how Rick killed Dwight in the OG TWD Comics. Imagine that as it would be crazy as shit. Also Rick Grimes finally ranking up? That's a blessing and hopefully we'll see the Echelon Briefing that the CRM-high ranking brass alongside Major General Beale. Just what the fuck are they gonna be doing there meeting in one place discussing of their next plans ahead. Also meeting on one place? Would be ashamed if they all die there because this is perfect opportunity/window to take out CRM and forcing them to set back their plans for quite awhile until regaining what they lost.
The way Michonne threw herself and her husband Rick out of the Black Hawk helicopter is just batshit fucking insane and after all this is a show. The two will be fine as it is because plot armor hahaha.
Leslie who played Throne said that there is nonlove triangle. That was a deal breaker for her with this role. She said Throne has no romantic feelings for Rick, so her feelings are only about compromising her position
As long as they don’t give Jadis or Thorne a redemption arc, its too played out, sometimes its nice for the villain to stay bad especially when they are good at it cause I like being a hater 😂

Great reaction video. I was saying the same thing about Throne and definitely Jadis. Im starting to think Jadis just gets a rise out messing with Rick and Michonne. I think Thorne might actually try kill Michonne again and Jadis might stop her or Rick might end up killing Thorne. Thorne spying on Rick for Beale. Thorne is a bigger threat to them both.

had a scary thought just a minute ago about how this show could end. i dont THINK it could happen but its something i thought about. okafor is of course gonna be a factor through the show even after he died so, imagine rick having to decide to blow the summit up with all the leaders inside, like okafor did but okafor had his wife down there making it possible. what if michonne tries doing this and attempts to sacrifice herself to let rick have an out to finally be free to see his kids, drawing that insane parallel between rick and okafor with michonne and estelle.

@@cleogriffith9921 oh no i dont think she will die, but i can imagine a scenario where shes on the ground making it possible for rick to blow all the crm soldiers up but instead of dying like estelle did, michonne gets out before the bombs go off and then they use the helicopter to get back to alexandria

I’m off the charts tired of Jadis reminding Rick she saved his life. She didn’t, not really. He survived the explosion. She could have hidden him from the CRM chopper and ran to get help from Michonne, Darryl, etc and maybe Maggie could have helped him. By turning him in to the CRM for her own benefit, she knew she was condemning him to a “life” of indentured servitude.

Yeah I definitely think he would have bled out. So Jadis did save him however rick didn't plan on surviving. The man thought the explosion would kill him only to wake up a damn slave🤦🏾♀️
She did save his life! We wouldn’t have Rick anymore if it wasn’t for her and the CRM and their hospitals and their supplies, they save his life multiple times and gave him a prosthetic and a job and a position to find michonne, I could go on and on and it’s because jadis found him and said he was a B, yes she got something out of it but if it were you do you think you’d have just let him die?

Pearl Thorn could be the poison or the cure. But I just don’t trust her. I don’t know what she was told in the briefing with Sergeant Beil. Jadis will sway with the winning team. I pray they don’t introduce the variant walkers in this next episode. Because that will put our people in an ever harder situation. This is mind blowing. Jadis has become a problem for me, I need her gone😭🤬 I don't remember hating her as much in the original show as I do now. Thorne is also unreliable, I don't trust her at all and I think she'll definitely get in the way and mess things up for them. But I also kept chuckling at Michonne's reactions throughout the episode, you could see she was fed up with Rick's nonsense and she could see that he has been reduced to a shell of himself in order to survive...I don't know why but it reminded me of season 5 episode 15 when Michonne punched Rick in order to protect him because he was full of nonsense then when he got into a fight with Jessie's husband at Alexandria😂 Again, she's having to take the lead, this time in order to help get them both out. You could just see the wheels in her head turning the entire episode😅 The ending was just chef's kiss👌🏾😅

I blame Angela Kang for bad writing not allowing Gabriel or Negan to spill the beans on Jadis and her trading people. This is all Gabriel’s fault for keeping the secret. They probably would’ve found each other. The writing for the show doesn’t make sense and I love the shows love the characters but the writing… so many missed opportunities for storylines and so many doors left open that never were closed or explained
I agree however I'm grateful for the unclosed doors because it gave them the opportunity to create these stories.

Not just for this ‘show’ but for the other spinoffs and potentially other ones or even a better ending for the main show or maybe a continuation.
