- This is my replica of an explosive torgue assault rifle from the video game Borderlands. I used a Nerf Elite Alpha Trooper and turned it into a sweet functional prop.

I forgot to include this in the video, but I upgraded the spring with a 5 kg OMW spring to up the power.

I painted the top of mine and it goes in the mag well perfectly fine
My goodness mag, this freehand checker pattern is gold.
This is very good, I always thought the paint would get scraped on the Alpha Trooper from all the pump action but the paint looks durable.
Thanks! A good sanding and clear coat is what makes the paint durable :)
I came from Drac's channel and OH MY GOODNESS. YOU FREEHANDED THE TORGUE LOGO AND A CHECKERBOARD. Aside from the all caps excitement, your videos are very brief and to the point, which I like. Definitely subscribing.

Woah, thats amazing! could have used a tiny bit of red on the scope and handle area to make the whole thing pop a bit better, but it is still great!

NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I'm so pissed XD I literally have a modified Stryfe that looks exactly like that, it has the demolisher stock, 12 round clip, pin point holographic scope, and modulus barrel extension (the barrel extension that comes with the modulus itself.) Now I feel like I'm the one who ripped off someone else ☹️

yea at least if you're painting
Painting always comes out better if you separate the shell and the internals. It makes spray painting (as well as dry brushing) a lot more straightforward, since you can lay the pieces flat without worrying about touching the other side or spraying at an odd angle.
